The upcoming film HIT: The Second Case is a standalone sequel of super hit 2020 Telugu action thriller film titled HIT: The First Case. Sailesh Kolanu has directed both the movies as well as the Hindi remake of the first film with the same name, starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles.
The film is one week away from its theatrical release, the pre-release business has been completed for it.
Brand Adivi Sesh + Hit sequel factor have made Hit2 a crazy project in the trade and the film has done record business in Adivi Sesh career. The film’s Nizam rights are sold at 5.5 Crores, ceded at 2 Crores, Andhra at 7 Crores. Total Telugu states business is around 14.5 Crores and ROI+Overseas business will be around 3.5 Crores.
Overall, the worldwide business of the film stands at 18 Crores. The film needs to collect more than 18 Crores share worldwide to achieve the breakeven mark. It needs a big first weekend and another 10 days of steady run at the box office to make it happen.
After the success of HIT: The First Case, the makers of the film announced the sequel in February 2021. The shooting of the film started in August 2021 in Visakhapatnam and the final schedule was commenced in August 2022.
Recently, the makers have released the trailer of Hit2 which received an excellent response from the audience. The raw scares in the trailer have made everyone got scared.
While in the first film, Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma played the lead roles, this upcoming sequel will feature actor Adivi Sesh in the lead role as Krishna Dev “KD” and actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the female lead.
Along with the lead star cast, the film also stars Bhanu Chander as K. Vishwanath, Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishan Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Komal Prasad and Maganti Srinath as Abhilash.
