Mark Antony, The latest film of Hero Vishal opened with record numbers for Vishal in Tamil Nadu and the movie witnessed and witnessed an excellent jump on Day 2 and the film registered the biggest weekend for Vishal in his career. However, the film is failing to achieve the same in Telugu states as the movie is underperforming and as a result, the Telugu buyers are disappointed with the film’s performance at the box office.
The opening day was decent for Mark Antony in Telugu states, and everyone expected a big jump on day 2 in collections. Because the film received positive reviews and decent word of mouth, the trade expected the film to draw more crowds to the film. Surprisingly, the second day’s numbers were lower than day 1.
The buyers had expected that the film will work huge at the box office as there was no other film in competition. But the surprising thing is even with releasing on the festival weekend and getting decent talk, shockingly the film failed to collect bigger revenue and just collected 4Cr+ gross on the 1st weekend.
Even today being a festival day of Vinayaka Chavithi the movie did not register housefuls boards and from tomorrow a decent revenue for Mark Antony looks not possible as well.
Mark Antony stars Vishal and SJ Suryah in dual roles. Ritu Varma and Abhinaya are the female leads, while Sunil and Selvaraghavan appear in important roles. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Mark Antony’s music is scored by GV Prakash Kumar. The film is of science-fiction genre and follows the story of Mark, who finds a phone that can help manipulate time.
