RRR is continuing its dream run in Japan and has achieved another massive landmark. After breaking all existing records set by other Indian films in Japan, the film has now achieved a milestone that many didn’t even dream of when the film was first released in Japan. RRR has now crossed the 1 million footfall mark in Japan which is a testimony of the film’s superb popularity in the country.

The SS Rajamouli film has also just crossed ¥1.5 Billion mark (Rs 97Cr) and has registered the all-time highest collections by an Indian film in Japan. RRR crossed Baahubali 2 and Rajinikanth’s smash hit Muthu, whose popularity in Japan led the film to be highest grosser in the country for 2 decades.

The film was widely promoted in the country and Jr NTRRam Charan, and SS Rajamouli were present during the Japanese premieres and attended several events. RRR collected over 1200 crores at the worldwide box office in its initial run during its release in March last year and now the film is continuing where it stopped its record-breaking journey in the easternmost country.
