The village leaders in Telangana are arranging special screening of the Balagam movie for their people in almost each and every village and it is a very rare feat nowadays. The response to those special screenings is expectedly superb. Not only in the village, but Balagam is being appreciated on the international stage as well.
Yesterday, the movie has won the Best Drama Feature Film award at Okyo Film Awards in Ukraine. This successful film has won another 4 awards. Balagam has won Best Feature Director (Venu Yeldandi), Best Actor in a Feature (Priyadarshi), Best Actress in a Feature (Kavya Kalyanram), and Best Narrative Feature (Venu Yeldandi) awards at the Washington DC International Cinema Festival.
The film is truly deserving of these awards and it will be receiving many more in the next few days. The team is very pleased about the film’s latest victory.
Starring Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram as the lead pair, Balagam has been directed by Comedian turned-director Venu Yeldandi. Muralidhar Goud, Jayaram, Roopa, Racha Ravi, and others played important roles in this content-driven film, produced by Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music director of this film.
