Pushpa The Rise starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar was premiered in Russian movie theaters on December 8. Box office experts expected the film to generate a good number of collections, as RRR did in Japan.
The Icon Star Allu Arjun and the Pushpa part 1 entire crew traveled to the country to promote the film. Rashmika Mandanna the heroine, accompanied them as well.
All the film crew members traveled to Russia and did some special promotions there. TV interviews, radio interviews, and more promotional activities were too done.
Along with the director, hero Allu Arjun, Music director Devi Sri Prasad, and heroine Rashmika Mandana, and Mythri Movie Makers unit also left to Russia, which caused some interest before the release and created a bit of anticipation.
But it seems like people of Russia cared little despite the Pushpa team promoting their film. The producers have spent 3 crores for the Promotions and dubbing and hardly nothing has recovered for the producers and the total amount is a loss for them.
They reportedly took the movie out from the theaters within the first three days because of the bad numbers.
However, the Pushpa unit, who went on so far with the promotions before the release, are now quiet because of the poor Pushpa Box office collections in Russia, it seems.
Because even after two weeks after release, there’s no official update from the team about the reception and response of the film in Russia. Seeing this, everyone is getting a feeling that Pushpa the rise is a colossal failure in Russia.
