Director Prashanth Varma is riding high with the success of Hanuman. The film became a Pan India sensation grossing more than 300 crores worldwide. It stars Teja Sajja and Amrita Aiyer in the lead roles. The film was made on a very low budget and its release too was postponed many times.
Hanuman released during the Sankranthi season and hit the jackpot. Family Audience thronged the theatres to watch Hanuman. Likewise, the film saw a success that no low-budget film ever saw in the history of Tollywood. The film even managed to attract North Indian Audience thanks to its divine content of Lord Hanuman. It became a sensational blockbuster there as well. Following the success of Hanuman, the team announced that there would be a sequel and it has already been titled Jai Hanuman.
It is said that this sequel would feature Lord Hanuman in a full-length role unlike in Hanuman. Director Prasanth Varma has already started working on it and he hinted about the same through his official X account. He tweeted that Ugadi was coming indirectly announcing about the film’s update, possibly a first look.
