Now, the duo will be collaborating for the first time for Thalaivar 171 and there is a massive buzz surrounding it.
According to the latest industry reports, Rajinikanth will be playing a mafia don in this film which is set against a gold smuggling backdrop. The plot will follow how gold is being smuggled from various countries (Singapore, Dubai, USA, etc) into India, through different modes of transportation.
Rajinikanth is playing a role that will be heavy on negative shade and this has filled fans with great excitement. Recently, the first look was released which has created havoc on the internet. Lokesh Kanagaraj presented Rajini in the best avatar and all eyes are on further updates from the film.
According to reports, Thalaivar 171 will be taken to the floors in June 2024. The movie will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The movie’s entire cast and crew still need to be confirmed, but it will undoubtedly consist of a vast cast ensemble.
