Prabhas has become the care of address for mega-budgeted pan-India films. It all started with the Baahubali franchise where the Young Rebel Star received nationwide adulation and stardom. Post this, he went on to work on other pan-India biggies like Radhe Shyam, Saaho, Adipurush with Salaar up for release and Kalki 2898 AD up for release next year.
Apart from being pan-Indian biggies, there’s one common thing in all these films. All these films have seen big delays and the original release date was altered just like we saw in the case of Salaar.
Not even a single movie of Prabhas has been released on the announced date. Baahubali 2, and Saaho were postponed, Radhe Shyam was postponed and recently Adipurush also got postponed. Now Salaar has also been postponed and the next release Kalki 2898 AD has also already been postponed. All the makers have quoted similar reasons for the delay and that is a delay CG works.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Prabhas’ Salaar release date. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on September 28 but has now been postponed. There is huge suspense on the new release date and all eyes are on Hombale Films for the new date.
