Jakes gained wider recognition for his work in films such as Queen (2018), Ranam (2018), Ishq (2019), Kalki (2019), Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020), Kaduva (2022), Thudarum (2025), and Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (2025), where his scores were noted for enhancing narrative intensity and atmosphere.
