Lucky Baskhar Postponed, Advantage to Vijay’s The Goat

The highly anticipated film Lucky Bhaskar has been postponed from its initial September 7th release date. The film, which also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, is slated to hit theaters around Diwali. Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu, was also set for September 5, 2024. The film will be released in Telugu by Mythri Movie Distributors LLP. Everyone expected Dulquer to confront Vijay in an epic battle, making it a tight competition.

Lucky Bhaskar, written and directed by Venky Atluri, has made headlines since its announcement, promising a compelling blend of entertainment. Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas was a sensational blockbuster. The film created all time record opening with 41 Lakh gross at AMB Cinemas and it continued for the first week as well. In first week, the film collected 2.1 crores gross which was also an All time record for any film there. In the full run, the film collected 4.42 crores and broke previous record held by RRR with 4.36 crores. Kalki 2898 AD became an All time biggest grosser at AMB Cinemas from it’s release to the end.

The film received a unanimous positive response from all section of people and started creating multiple records on all territories. The film has also grossed more than 400 crores gross alone in the Hindi Version. This was a huge blockbuster performance for a Telugu film there. Prabhas craze and popularity in Hindi belt has helped the film a lot.

Kaithi starring Karthi became a sleeper hit. The film achieved a unanimous positive talk and rocked the box office. It was also a good hit in Telugu market. Director of the film, Lokesh Kanagaraj did Vikram later and scored sensational blockbuster with it. Fans and Audience expected him to start Kaithi 2 but he went with Leo and now with Coolie starring Rajinikanth. These put Kaithi 2 on hold again.

Kaithi 2 is expected to take off only after Lokesh Kanagaraj finishing Coolie. Karthi and team have also announced this.
