Nagarjuna starrer Wild Dog has finally released today in Theaters as makers opted out from direct OTT Release. Nagarjuna has been promoting this film for the last two weeks aggressively like never before. This film is based on an operation that is based on true life incidents. Story: Vijay Varma (Nagarjuna) is an NIA officer who is also called Wild Dog. He is a ruthless officer who is spot-on in any mission. The story is all about how the NIA team which is headed by Vijay Varma hunts the mastermind behind the blasts that happened in Hyderabad and Pune and bring him back to India.

Performance: After a long gap Akkineni Nagarjuna has come up with a strong script and he excels as an NIA officer. There is a lot of variation seen in Nagarjuna’s body language and makeover which is required for the character. The other cast who appears in the NIA team are the perfect cast for Wild Dog. SaiyamiKher has a better role than DiaMirza with few important scenes

Analysis: Wild Dog is basically a spy thriller which is not a new genre to the Telugu audience. Writer, director Solomon has made all efforts to present Wild Dog as an edge-of-seat thriller but with few illogical scenes and regular presentation, it couldn’t be a full-on engaging thriller. Considering as the debut film he has come up with good work which is not so easy to deal with these kinds of subjects.

Finally! Good news for Pawan Kalyan fans

Pawan Kalyan fans have something to cheer for. The makers of the movie have decided to shift the venue of Vakeel Saab’s Pre release event in view Covid protocols. This means the event which was earlier cancelled due to lack of police permission is on and will take place on 4th April.

A few days ago, Jubilee Hills Police had refused permission to Dil Raju for the event much to the dismay of Pawan Kalyan fans. He had sought permission for a gathering of 5000-6000 people which was straight up denied. Hyderabad is noticing a rise in the number of Corona cases and such an event with a large crowd would have further risked the attendees.

Now the event is reportedly to be held in indoors at Hitex’s Novotel Hotel on 4th and will have a limited guest list. This news has put a cheer on the face of Pawan Kalyan fans who are eagerly waiting for Power Star’s comeback. Official announcement is awaited from the Makers.

Directed by Venu Sriram, Vakeel Saab will be releasing on the 9th of this month. SS Thaman has composed the music and the movie is being released under Sri Venkateshwara Creations.

Noted actor joins Nani’s upcoming film

Nani’s upcoming film Shyam Singha Roy, has generated just the right buzz right from the day it was announced. One of the main reasons for this is an exciting starcast which has the very talented Sai Pallavi and exciting newcomer Keeerthi Shetty. The supernatural thriller directed by Rahul Sankeertyan who earlier made Taxiwala has created great curiosity.

The actor/director recently confirmed that he is going to play a crucial role in this thriller. Rahul who earlier directed Chi La Sow and Manmadhudu 2 said that he is enjoying acting more than ever.

“I’m just enjoying this phase of being on sets purely as an actor. Acting is such a stress-free job. I mean of course it’s physically demanding but emotionally very stress-free”, he said.

Set in Kolkata, this film is based on the concept of reincarnation and also stars Madonna Sebastian and Murali Sharma.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR’s rights have been sold to Jayantilal Gada’s Pen International for a never before amount. The North Indian rights, as well as the electronic, satellite, and digital rights of the film, have been acquired by Pen Studios.

Andhra Pradesh – 150 Cr

Telangana- 75 Cr

TamilNadu- 42 Cr

Total theatrical rights of the movie is expected to be in the range of Rs 550 crores. This means the movie will have to collect Rs 570 crores share in order to achieve a breakeven status. The gross target subsequently would be Rs 1000 crores.

Interestingly, only two movies in Indian film history have collected beyond Rs 1,000 crores Bahubali-2 and Dangal. Bahubali 2 is also the only movie to collect Rs 500 crores share. A target that RRR must achieve to end up being profitable.

Nagarjuna starrer Wild Dog has now faced a fresh problem. The movie reportedly has been leaked online just a day before its release. Wild Dog had earlier faced multiple hurdles like lockdown, unsuccessful negotiations with OTT and so on. Finally, after clearing all the hurdles the movie is finally hitting the screens this Friday.

The trailers and the recently released behind-the-scenes video have raised expectations on the movie amongst fans. The movie also received positive reports from its censor screening. However, with Wild Dog leaked just a day before its release, makers are concerned if it would affect the collections.

Directed by Ahishor Solomon, this action thriller is based on certain real-life incidents. The movie that features an ensemble cast of Dia Mirza, Atul Kulkarni, Ali Reza, and Saiyyami Kher among others tells the story of Indian NIA and RAW’s heroics. The movie follows incidents post the 2007 Gokul Chat bombings.
