0

Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp released on Saturday with low buzz and the film also faced negative reviews from overseas premieres. Still, the film set the box office on fire on the first weekend and is set for a break even with its first week.

As said above, the film received initial negative response but it had a complete turnaround after the shows started in India and it had a good improvement in collections and WOM with each passing show.

K-Ramp Emerges as the Diwali Winner for Telugu Releases

Dude initially dominated in Telugu for this Diwali but now Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp becomes their first preference.

Overall for 3 days, K-Ramp has collected around 11 Cr gross worldwide, with the break even set at 16 Cr. It almost recovered 70% in 3 days, and the trade expects today also to be a big day for the film. The film is all set to achieve the break even by the 1st week itself.

Also, it will emerge as the biggest grosser for this Diwali in Telugu releases. Kiran Abbavaram continues the Diwali sentiment as last year he had released KA, which became his biggest blockbuster and this year he released K-Ramp.

Dude Storm at Box Office – 4 Days Collections Rock Solid

Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude is performing extraordinarily at Box office. The film has shown superb consistency over the first weekend and the 4 days collections are rock solid, guaranteeing a success.

In Tamil Nadu the film sees rampage on Diwali day, as the Day 4 becomes its biggest day and it even sees a double digit gross collections in Tamil Nadu.

Overall for 4 days, the film has collected around 33 Cr gross In Tamil Nadu, 11.5 Cr gross in Telugu States, 6 Cr from ROI, taking the total India gross over 50 Cr.

Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude has collected around $2 million gross at the overseas box office, taking the total worldwide gross around 68 Cr.

This is a huge collection for the film. Today advance bookings are also good, all set to cross the 100 Cr mark in this week only. After Love Today and Dragon, Pradeep is all set to score his third consecutive 100 Cr grosser with this film.

OG Controversy: What Went Wrong Between Sujeeth and Danayya

0

OG registered the biggest pre-release business in Pawan Kalyan’s career, and it is also his biggest box office grosser. However, even for this film, there seem to be some issues between director Sujeeth and producer Danayya.

This buzz has been circulating in the industry for quite some time:Danayya was reportedly not happy with the film’s budget, as it exceeded the initially planned amount. Sujeeth, on the other hand, had his own reasons for the budget increase, which led to these differences.

Due to this, Sujeeth and Danayya canceled their next planned project. A film in the combination of Nani and Sujeeth was officially announced under Danayya’s production, but later, it was shifted to the Niharika Entertainments banner because of the issues between both.

Now, another buzz is that Sujeeth had even spent his own money on Pawan Kalyan’s OG due to the same conflicts. The news of issues between Sujeeth and Danayya is currently circulating on the internet, though neither of them publicly addressed the matter.

But at some point, they may need to clarify why they parted ways, and it remains to be seen what the real reason behind their split was.

After OG vs Akhanda 2, Now Peddi vs The Paradise

0

Nani and Srikanth Odela reunite after their sensational blockbuster Dasara for a much bigger pan-India film titled The Paradise. The film was the first to officially announce its release date — March 26, 2026.

Surprisingly, within a short time, Peddi, the combination of Global Star Ram Charan and Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana, announced its release date as March 27, 2026.

At that time, everyone expected that both films wouldn’t arrive together and that one of them would eventually get postponed. However, both teams have been sticking to their dates and confidently stating that they won’t miss their respective release plans.

Now, Buchi Babu Sana has dropped a bomb — revealing that they’re planning to release Peddi on March 26, the same date as The Paradise! With this, there’s not even a one-day gap between the two biggies. It seems the Peddi team is extremely confident that The Paradise may not release as planned. Whether this has been discussed internally or not is unknown, but outwardly, both teams are firmly claiming that they’re 100% targeting the announced date.

A similar situation happened this year when OG and Akhanda 2 targeted the same release date — September 25. Eventually, OG arrived on time, while Akhanda 2 was postponed to December 5.

Now, in the Peddi vs The Paradise clash, it’s clear that finally, only one film will hit theatres on March 26, 2026. It remains to be seen which one will keep the date — and which one will step back.

Akhanda 2’s Blasting Roar Teaser Crucial

0

Akhanda 2 team has somehow delayed their promotional content. With less than 50 days left for release, only a short glimpse and a poster have been released so far. Since then, there have been no new updates, and even fans have expressed frustration over the team’s silence, especially during festive occasions.

Akhanda 2 is the biggest film in Balakrishna’s career. Though the sequel already carries strong hype, building a massive buzz is equally important — particularly because the film is also targeting the Hindi market along with Telugu. Hence, aggressive promotions are much needed at this stage.

Finally, the team has given fans a Diwali gift — announcing that a “blasting roar” teaser will arrive on October 24th at 4:54 PM. Yes, the much-awaited teaser, said to be over a minute long, is finally set to release and will play a crucial role in boosting the film’s buzz.

From here on, the updates are expected to flow continuously — teaser, songs, trailer, big events, and promotional interviews one after another. The teaser now carries huge expectations and must deliver strong impact, scale, and energy to give the movie the momentum it needs before release.

Baahubali The Epic Shocks Buyers

0

Baahubali The Epic, the re-release combining both parts of Baahubali into a single film, is set to hit theatres on October 31st across all formats and languages. The rerelease censored with 225 minutes runtime with UA rating.  The re-release is carrying phenomenal craze — bigger than any re-release so far. The USA advance bookings are already proving the hype

With this craze, buyers are ready to offer higher prices than ever before for a re-release. However, the makers are quoting even bigger prices, leaving buyers in shock. The quoted rates are almost equivalent to a straight release of a Tier-2 star film. Interestingly, on the same day, Mass Jathara is also releasing, yet Baahubali The Epic is commanding a much higher ratio.

The makers are extremely confident that this re-release will be massive and are even predicting it could target ₹100 Cr gross. It remains to be seen how the business unfolds and how the film performs at the box office.

Back during the original Baahubali release, many felt the film was overpriced — but it turned into a jackpot for buyers. Now, all eyes are on whether Baahubali The Epic can repeat the same magic once again.

Peddi Release Preponed

Ram Charan’s Peddi shooting is in full swing, and the movie is carrying a very good buzz. Ram Charan’s look, title, and glimpse have created a highly positive response for the film. The movie was initially announced for a March 27, 2026 release on the occasion of Ram Charan’s birthday

Now, director Buchi Babu Sana has officially confirmed that 60% of the shoot has been completed, and the team is planning to prepone the release date to March 26 to take advantage of the Sri Ramanavami festival.

March 26, 2026, is definitely a better date than March 27, as it falls on a festival holiday and offers a 4-day extended weekend. The team is gearing up to start promotions from November, with the first single expected to release in the first week of November.

Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp 2 Days Box Office — Heading for Blockbuster

0

Kiran Abbavaram’s K-Ramp witnessed very good growth on Day 2 across all territories. In some centers, the Day 2 collections were almost double that of the opening day. The film has also become the No. 1 choice for Telugu audiences — yesterday, it collected more than Dude in the Telugu states

K-Ramp’s worldwide breakeven gross is valued at around ₹16 Cr, and the film has collected about ₹8 Cr in 2 days — achieving 50% recovery in just 2 days, which is extraordinary. With today and tomorrow being Diwali holidays, the film is likely to witness its biggest days yet. By tomorrow or Wednesday, it is expected to achieve breakeven in all territories.

Initially, K-Ramp opened to completely negative reviews from overseas, but things took a positive turn once the Indian shows began. The word of mouth has been improving show by show, clearly reflected in the collections. The film is expected to cross ₹25 Cr gross in its full run and is heading towards becoming a big blockbuster.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda Faces a Tough Year

0

Siddhu Jonnalagadda created a huge market with the Tillu franchise. Other than big-star films, very few Telugu movies have grossed over 100 Cr, and Tillu Square is one of them. After that massive success, expectations were high that Siddhu would rise to the next level, but 2025 has turned out to be a tough year for him.

Two of his films — Jack and Telusu Kada — were released this year. Jack turned out to be an outright disaster, and now Telusu Kada is also heading towards box office failure. Siddhu clearly wants to deliver a big success outside the Tillu franchise, but that hasn’t happened yet.

He definitely needs to score a solid blockbuster with a non-Tillu film. Going forward, Siddhu must be cautious with his story choices; otherwise, he might risk falling into a lower phase in his career.

Many heroes deliver huge blockbusters but fail to maintain consistency — that’s where the struggle begins. Siddhu needs to learn from this pattern and come up with a story that truly connects with the audience.

The one positive takeaway from Telusu Kada is Siddhu’s performance — critics and audiences have appreciated his acting. While Jack faced criticism for showing Siddhu in a Tillu hangover, he managed to overcome that in Telusu Kada. Now, the next big step is to deliver a strong box office comeback.

Can Dil Raju Pull Sukumar Out of Mythri Movies?

0

Sukumar made his directorial debut with the sensational blockbuster Arya under Dil Raju’s production. After that film, they were supposed to reunite for Jagadam, but due to some creative differences, Sukumar went ahead with another producer. Since then, Dil Raju and Sukumar have not collaborated again.

Today, Sukumar is one of the most sought-after directors in Indian cinema. With the Pushpa series, his popularity has crossed all boundaries. Sukumar has found great comfort working with Mythri Movie Makers — from Rangasthalam to Pushpa, Pushpa 2, and his upcoming film with Ram Charan, all have been produced by them. Within the industry, there’s a strong buzz that Sukumar may never step out of Mythri’s production circle.

However, Dil Raju is reportedly eager to collaborate with Sukumar once again. He is said to be desperately trying to set up a massive project featuring Sukumar and Prabhas. It remains to be seen whether Dil Raju can succeed in making this combination happen.

On the other side, Mythri Movie Makers are keen to continue producing all of Sukumar’s films. They are planning Pushpa 3 right after his film with Ram Charan. It will be interesting to see which path Sukumar chooses in the coming days.
