Manasilaayo: Anirudh strikes again for Rajinikanth

Tamil Music Director Anirudh Ravichander worked for few of Rajinikanth’s films. But he never disappointed the fans and audiences. Petta, Dabar and Jailer all became chartbuster albums after the release. Now, he also acts as music composer for Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Vettaiyan. The first single of the film, Manasilaayo dropped an hour ago on YouTube. Anirudh has struck again with Manasilaayo for Rajinikanth continuing the streak.

Anirudh is a big fan of Rajinikanth as we all know. He proved it with the songs of Rajinikanth’s previous film, Jailer. Jailer’s songs and Background Music are still talked about and provided to be biggest assets of the film. Now, Anirudh looks to do that again for Vettaiyan. The film had no buzz till now but with Manasilaayo it would definitely start.

Manasilaayo seemed very energetic throughout. Rajinikanth and Manju Warrier were also full on energy mode. It has already started attracting fans and audience on social media platforms. The song will be a big boost for the film. Anirudh sang the song along with the AI vocals of late Tamil Singer, Malaysia Vasudevan. Vettaiyan is scheduled for release on 10th October worldwide. Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Dabbugati play pivotal roles in the film directed by T.J. Gnanavel.

Mohanlal Approached For A Key Role In Salaar 2!

Mohanlal, a veteran actor of Malayalam cinema, has been approached to play a crucial role in Salaar: Shouryanga Parvam. For those unaware, this is a direct sequel to Prashanth Neel’s Salaar: Part 1—Cease Fire (2023).

Mohanlal hasn’t been part of a Telugu film since Koratala Siva‘s blockbuster Janatha Garage (2016). Further rumors suggest that Tamil sensation Anirudh Ravichander is being considered as the film’s background score and songs.

This has put fans in a dilemma since Ravi Basur has done an excellent job for the first installment. Salaar 2 is currently in the pre-production phase. The GOAT Telugu failure: Venkat Prabhu’s shocking explanation

The GOAT starring Vijay released recently and became a sensational blockbuster in Tamil Nadu. The film registered a 100 crore opening worldwide and also grossed 275 crores in the first extended weekend. But The GOAT didn’t click well in Telugu States and Kerala by becoming a big disaster here. Now Director of the film, Venkat Prabhu came up with a shocking explanation to The GOAT’s Telugu version and other language versions’ failure.

Venkat Prabhu took part in an X/Twitter space discussion. The Director there said that Telugu Audience and Hindi Audience didn’t connect with the film because of the involvement of IPL team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) during the climax. He also said that many people, mostly fans of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians criticise him for being a big fan of CSK and also opined that this would have been the big reason for them not liking the film. This came as a shocking statement from the director.

Venkat Prabhu seems to be unable to accept the mistakes he did in the film and blamed it only on the invovlement of Chennai Super Kings. This definitely couldn’t be the only reason for the film’s failure. There were many other factors like the long run time, illogical scenes and plot as well for The GOAT becoming a failure in Telugu and Malayalam versions. But Venkat Prabhu didn’t recognise this at all which felt surprising.

Keeping this aside, the Venkat Prabhu-directorial has been in the news for another reason: plagiarism allegations. Yes, according to some netizens, The Goat’s climax has been lifted from the English film Final Score (2018).

The only difference is that this Tamil flick will feature cricket instead of football, and of course M. S. Dhoni is a new addition. Vijay’s political party TVK gets official recognition

Tamil Actor Vijay has officially ventured into politics with his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, shortly TVK. He has also launched his political flag and Anthem recently in a private meeting at the party headquarters in Chennai. Now it is also learnt that his party TVK has got an official recognition from Election Commission of India. This is indeed a happy news for his fans.

Vijay released a press note declaring that the party had got an official recognition from the ECI. This also allows TVK to participate in electoral politics from now on. He said that he took great pleasure in telling this. The Actor also said that details regarding party’s policies will be officially revealed in state conference meeting soon. With this, Vijay will further get the political boost.

Manasilaayo from Vettaiyan arriving today

Vettaiyan is the upcoming film of Tamil Actor Rajinikanth directed by T. J. Gnanvel. The film is currently under shoot process and the release date has also been scheduled on 10th October. Now, the arrangements for the first single are going on. The single is titled Manasilaayo and it will be arriving today at 5 PM on YouTube.

The song features AI vocals of late Tamil singer Malaysia Vasudevan. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the song has already struck chords with the audiences with its promo. They have been waiting eagerly for another chartbuster from the Music Composer. Anirudh has given a peak composition for Rajinikanth’s previous film, Jailer. The combination looks to repeat on the same level again with Vettaiyan.

Rajinikanth plays a police officer in the film. He is arriving in police uniform again after Darbar and Jailer. Vettaiyan earlier felt like going for a clash with Suriya starrer Kanguva which was also scheduled on 10th October. But the makers of Kanguva have decided to postpone the film to some other date and now Vettaiyan will have a full holiday advantage during the dussehra season. Manju Warrier plays the female lead role in the film alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati playing pivotal roles.

Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, an arm of the 60-year-old Suresh Productions in collaboration with Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, marked the beginning of their most awaited multilingual film project “Kaantha” with a puja at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad.

This partnership brings together two creative powerhouses committed to delivering exceptional cinema. Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Bhagyashree, and Samuthirakani, marking an exciting start for Spirit Media’s cinematic journey. The filming also begins today.

Set in the evocative backdrop of 1950s Madras, “Kaantha” is a cinematic journey that explores the complexities of human relationships and societal change during a dynamic period in history. The film also stars Bhagyashree Borse playing the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan, while Samuthirakani is cast for a crucial role.
