Devara Trailer Faces Comparisons with Acharya

The trailer of NTR’s Devara was released yesterday and is already hitting record numbers. Devara trailer has so far hit 8.7 million + views and more than 6.7 lakh likes. These are terrific numbers and have given a great boost to NTR fans and Koratala Siva who is eager to make a strong comeback. While neutral fans have given mixed responses to the trailer, some questions have also cropped up about the movie.

With the trailer, it is clear that Tarak will be seen as a father and son in two roles. This characterization is a tried and tested formula across industries. And now it all depends on how well the story is executed.

Fans have even pointed out some eerie similarities the film has with Koratala’s previous film Acharya. Several shots and characters look quite similar to Acharya. It appears that Saif Ali Khan’s character has been written quite similar to that of Sonu Sood’s character in Acharya. Apart from this, it also looks like the friendly wrestling bout between Ram Charan and Sonu Sood has been replicated with NTR and Saif Ali Khan.

The areal shots, frames, and some fight sequences also have an Acharya hangover and this has raised some questions about the movie. Many also felt that from the Devara trailer, the movie does not look like a massive pan-India film. It looks like a regular mass Telugu film with father and son taking revenge.

While Devara trailer is doing great numbers and pre-sales are also terrific, the success now depends on NTR stardom and first-day talk. NTR surely has the box office pull to make audiences throng to theatres for even routing projects. But fans are also confident that Koratala Siva has some more tricks up his sleeve which will be revealed in theatres.

Vijay continues to pair with Senior Actresses

Tamil Actor Vijay also fondly called as Thalapathy Vijay has been roping in Senior Actresses in his films. He recently starred alongside Sneha in The GOAT and Trisha in Leo. And now, it is learnt that he has made a decision of bringing in Simran for his new and upcoming film directed by H. Vinoth. Vijay has repeated this streak by pairing up with Senior Actress like Simran again.

It is speculated that Simran is being considered for the female lead role in the film. This film will also be Vijay’s final film after which he will venture into politics officially. He will also become a full-time politician after this film. Fans expected him to come up with great stuff for his upcoming film but this will obviously be a disappointing one. It has to be seen how his fans would react to him pairing opposite Simran in his final film.

Malayalam Actress, Mamitha Baiju is also learnt to be considered for a role in the film. As The GOAT has released, Vijay will focus on completing this film as soon as possible. He will then bid farewell to films and work to compete for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections that are scheduled in 2026. His political party, TVK has also got an official recognition from the Election Commission of India recently.

Tollywood Actor NTR and team met the press today at Mumbai for the trailer launch of much awaited film, Devara. During the interaction, NTR talked about many things and one question from the press felt very fascinating. He was asked to respond about the Director, Koratala Shiva. NTR’s reply came as a surprise and felt like he was attacking Actor Chiranjeevi indirectly.

Koratala Shiva lastly worked with Chiranjeevi for Acharya. The film became a big disaster after the release and thereby a big embarrassment for both. Chiranjeevi later participated in many interviews after the failure of Acharya and expressed his dissastifaction on Koratala Shiva indirectly. His feelings indicated that Koratala Shiva was behind the failure of Acharya. This didn’t go well then with Netizens who trolled Chiranjeevi badly for cornering Koratala Shiva for a mere failure. Netizens said that it was indeed Chiranjeevi who had changed the script in the middle and became the reason for Acharya’s failure.

Now, NTR in the press meet has backed Koratala Shiva and said that the director had to be given right space and there must be right people around him to deliver properly. These comments indirectly attack Chiranjeevi who was accused of not giving priority to Koratala Shiva during the making of Acharya. NTR comments have gone viral and netizens are sharing the video on social media platforms.

Amidst this, a plot line from the action drama has gone viral on the internet. According to it, Devara, the Lord of Fear, vanished from the world for two years for unknown reasons. In the mean time, Vara, his male heir, works in the undercover to make sure things are in the right place.

In the pre-climax of the film, Bhaira realizes that the man on stage is not Devara but his cowardly son. As you might have guessed, the climax will feature the father-son duo coming together to mark an end to Bhaira’s crueality. If this happens to be the film’s plot, then audiences are sure to draw similarities with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (2023).

The Censor Board of Film Certification has cleared Devara: Part One with a ‘U/A’ certificate as expected. Ensuring a smooth worldwide launch, the makers have wrapped up censorship formalities over two weeks before release.

While there’s no official announcement regarding the film’s duration, sources claim that the Koratala Siva-directorial has locked a lengthy run time of 3 hours. Apparently, the film boasts heavy violence in the second half, and the song ‘Daavudi’ will be played at the very end.

Devara Trailer: NTR shines and Koratala Shiva delivers

The most awaited trailer of Devara starring NTR released today on YouTube. The trailer showcased the theme of the film. NTR shined in the dual roles throughout the trailer and Saif Ali Khan also looked ferocious. Prakash Raj too played a pivotal role in the film contributing as the narrator for the trailer as well. The Director Koratala Shiva has delivered this to the fans and audience as it appeals.

The trailer was launched in Mumbai with a press meet on a grand note. The father character played by NTR was shown ferociously whereas the son’s role was quite opposite. The son’s role will obviously turn ferocious than the father’s at a certain point of time which would be the highlight of Devara. This happens in commecial cinema often. The visuals also depicted the same from the trailer.

The trailer promised a mass commercial film blended with large size VFX elements around sea backdrop taking into a new world. The Background Music composed by Anirudh Ravichander worked well and is also getting praise for blending rightly with the feel of Devara. Dialogues raised further expectation on the film. Koratala Shiva once again has showed his strong zone by writing powerful and meaningful dialogues. Devara is slated for release on September 27th worldwide.

Vijay’s trusted markets disappointed The GOAT

Tamil Actor Vijay is one of the leading stars of Kollywood. He over a period time had no market reach like Rajinikanth. But the Actor had slowly established good market in other languages especially in Telugu States and Kerala. All his recent films have become decent hits here which turned out to be trusted markets for him. But his recent flick, The GOAT failed completely here shocking everyone. Vijay’s trusted markets have disappointed him for The GOAT.

The GOAT had great opening in Tamil Nadu and Overseas but poor openings in Telugu States and Kerala. The film didn’t recover after this and became a big disaster in the first weekend itself. Whereas, the film continued to have great response in TN and overseas and grossed nearly 275 crores in the first weekend. Even Monday’s performance was top notch shocking everyone. The film is also set to cross the 300 crore mark before the start of the weekend itself. But Telugu States and Kerala contribution is negligible in this.

Vijay’s previous films Master, Beast, Varisu/Vaarasudu and Leo become good hits in Telugu market. But The GOAT carried no big hype or promotions ahead of the release which badly affected the film. The film also received a negative talk which further made it a disaster.

List Of Interviews Jr. NTR Has Planned For Devara Promotions!

Jr. NTR looks keen to launch himself as the next pan-Indian superstar. He is off to the city of Mumbai to promote his upcoming film Devara: Part One. As a part of it, Tarak, along with Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, took part in Kapil Sharma’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’.

Yesterday, Vettaiyan‘s first Single Manasilaayo was released on YouTube. The song instantly became a chartbuster and the most surprising thing that came out of the song was Manju Warrier‘s dance. Her screen presence and moves have been trending since the song’s release. She is also compared to Trisha who did a cameo in Matta song from The GOAT recently. Both these 40+ heroines are still rocking the dance floors which is amazing.

When Manasilaayo was announced, everyone’s attention went onto Anirudh’s composition. They expected him to provide nothing short of a chartbuster for Rajinikanth. But After the song release, Manju Warrier’s dance bit became so popular and many people had started trending this on social media platforms. This also became one of the main assets of Manasilaayo. The same phenomenon has also happened recently with Trisha who played a cameo in The GOAT’s Matta song. Her cameo instantly won praise and trended greatly on the film’s release day.

This is really an interesting phenomenon to see heroines getting praise even in their 40s which usually doesn’t happen. Many who don’t even know who the female lead was in Vettaiyan have instantly turned their heads towards Manju Warrier. She has also overshadowed Rajinikanth for an extent with the song.
