Now, with his upcoming film ‘Game Changer’ starring Ram Charan, Shankar finds himself under similar scrutiny. Reports suggest that the Game Changer team has spent a staggering ₹90 crore on just the songs, with individual tracks costing ₹17-18 crore each. However, despite these jaw-dropping figures, the four released songs have not made the desired impact. The visuals and audio, while decent, have not generated the buzz expected from such high-budget productions.

Adding to the pressure, ‘Game Changer’’s songs have failed to achieve record-breaking numbers on platforms like YouTube, which is unusual for music director Thaman’s work.
