Today, Chikkadapally police called him to inquire about the Sandhya Theatre case, and there has also been news that police are approaching the court for bail cancellation. We need to wait and see what the outcome will be as Allu Arjun faces double tension today.

On December 4, at the Pushpa 2 special premiere, a woman named Revathi died during a stampede at Sandhya Theater on X roads, Hyderabad. Since then, Allu Arjun has been facing continuous issues and allegations from politicians and police and only time will tell when he will be out of this big problem.

Tollywood Actor Allu Arjun got himself into a big controversy. The Actor has been jailed recently for a stampede accident that claimed the life of a lady. The whole situation turned even more worse with the Government taking a serious stance on the episode. Now, Police have sent legal notice to Allu Arjun again shockingly.

Allu Arjun has been instructed to report at Chikkadapally Police station in Hyderabad at 11 AM tomorrow. Fans and Audience are shocked to see this development. It has to be seen if the Actor would really appear at the Police station. While the Actor is currently in bail, he may consider sending his legal advocate to appear for him.

There are also reports about Police contemplating to appeal for the cancellation of bail issued by the High Court at the Supreme Court. If that happens, then it will definitely be more trouble for the Actor. We need to see how this whole issue turns out in the coming days.

Viduthalai 2 drops big on Monday. Starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, Viduthalai 2, the latest action drama of Vetrimaaran was released in theaters worldwide on December 20, 2024. The film received positive reviews and had a good opening in Tamil Nadu at the box office, while it failed to get even decent numbers in Telugu states.

The film failed to impress markets like Kerala and Telugu states, but it worked good on Tamil Nadu with around 24Cr gross for the 1st weekend. However, on the1st Monday the film witnessed drop in Tamil Nadu collections as well. Shockingly, the drop is more than 60% from Sunday. Viduthalai 2 drops big on Monday. 

The drop declares there is no chance for the film to join 100 Cr club, and Maharaja will be the only 100 Cr grosser for Vijay Sethupathi. Because of more action and political theme, the families seem to not showing much interest in watching Viduthalai 2, and most likely it will end up as an average grosser at the box office.

According to Mallanna, the police have been looked down upon in the film and sandalwood smugglers were shown as heroes, which is wrong. The scenes where a smuggler comes and hits a police officer’s car and after that police officer falls into the swimming pool, the hero urinates in the swimming pool. Teenmar Mallanna was surprised that how the censor board gave clearance to such scenes. Congress Leader files a case on Pushpa 2. This is now another issue for Allu Arjun, who is facing back-to-back setbacks in recent days.

Teenmar Mallanna demanded that those objectionable scenes which hurt the morale of the police should be removed from the film. He also lodged a complaint with the police seeking legal action against Allu Arjun, Sukumar and the producers of the film which not only insulted the police by making such a film but also influence the youth of the society badly. 

Addressing the Pushpa 2 movie unit, Teenmar Mallanna asked who is responsible if the youth are spoiled by watching such films, and he also suggested that filmmakers should make good films and should not spoil the society by making films were criminals are shown as heroes.

Telanagana Exhibitors Association conducted a press meet today to talk about the recent cancellation of benefit shows and ticket hikes permission by the Telangana Government. The Association has given a rude shock to Tollywood and especially the Producers by supporting the Government’s decision. Shockingly, they appealed the same to be followed by the Andhra Pradesh Government as well.

Members of the Association felt that the heavy prices planned on the tickets is impacting the audiences distancing them away from the theatres and opting for OTT viewing. They also expressed that the benefit and midnight shows must also be cancelled to maintain a proper decorum infront of the theatres before the release of a film. They also opined that this improper policy has resulted in the recent death of a lady in the premiere show of Pushpa 2. The Association terming all these has come in praise of the Government’s decision believing it would benefit them.

This definitely comes as a big shocker to the Producers of Tollywood who expected the Association in their favour to make their appeal at the Government. But with the Association distancing itself away, the Producers have no choice but to follow the rules set by the Government. Upcoming films, Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj are set to lose big with this decision and we need to see if any relaxation will be allowed to these films.

The situation intensified when CM Revanth Reddy spoke directly against the Actor accusing him of behaving irresponsibly. Trying to cool off this ugly situation, Allu Arjun’s Father-in-law, Chandrasekhar Reddy came forward to discuss the issue with a Congress Incharge leader but he had to get insulted shockingly.

Chandrasekhar Reddy tried interacting with Deepadas Munsi, the in-charge of Telangana Congress Party affairs about the recent targeting of Allu Arjun by the Government. But nothing resulted in a positive way with Chandrasekhar Reddy being denied a chance to talk this with her. She left the premises immediately turning a blind eye towards him.

The case is taking a turn every day. The stampede that took place near Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4 shook the entire industry. More importantly, Allu Arjun has been arrested as an A11 accused in the case. Moreover, him spending a day in jail has become a big sensation. However, he was released on bail after the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail.

On the night of December 4, Allu Arjun came to Sandhya theater to watch his latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule in the theatre. There was a stampede at that time because of massive turnaround of fans. In the stampede, Revathi and Sritej, a mother and son, fell down. Revathi died on the spot, while Sritej is undergoing treatment at the hospital. Allu Arjun announced a support Rs 25 lakh for the family of Revathi on the third day of the incident, and he also promised that the family would have his assistance whenever it was needed. Now, Pushpa 2 Producers provide 50 Lakhs Aid to Revathi’s Family.

Mythri Movie Makers company provided financial help to Revathi’s family. Naveen Yerneni, the partner in Mythri Movies, handed over a cheque of Rs 50 lakh to Revathi’s family on Monday. The producers visited the hospital where Sritej was being treated. Cinematography Minister Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy was also present with them.

Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police, CV Anand has made shocking comments on the National Media and its reporters. He accused them of being bought over and also expressed his dissastisfaction during a Q/A session regarding the current ongoing controversy of Allu Arjun’s arrest. The Commissioner is now being criticised for his sensitive remarks made on the media.

However, the Commissioner has realised his mistake later and apologised for passing the remarks as well. He explained that he lost his cool and took back his comments. But these appear too childish for the post of the Commissioner. He must maintain restraint about certain issues which otherwise would bring a shame to the Government and the Police system as well.

Netflix announces RRR: Behind and Beyond Documentary streaming date

Leading OTT Platform Giant, Netflix has come up with a documentary on the Blockbuster RRR directed by Rajamouli. The Documentary titled RRR: Behind and Beyond will be streaming on December 27th in all noted languages. The Documentary’s promo was released recently showing the lead Actors, NTR and Ram Charan and other crew members talking about the hardships put into the film.

The Documentary was also screened in select theatres recently. The film became a big hit even on the Netflix trending at No 1 spot in many countries earning it a global recognition. The team managed to grab an Oscar Award for its song, Naatu Naatu because of the same reason as well. Now, the documentary is also being awaited greatly by the fans and audience.

Rajamouli, with this, is set to take his collaboration further ahead with Netflix which would also play a major role in his upcoming film starring Mahesh Babu.
