The makers of Parasakthi announced the release date of 14th January 2026, just a while ago. Suriya’s Karuppu was also planned for Pongal release, but it is said to be moving to summer 2026.

The latest Malayalam film, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, is having a dream run at the box office. It hardly has any off days at the theaters and still attracts audiences towards the theaters. Lokah’s 15-day box office collections are out now.

For 15 days the movie has collected 75 Cr in Kerala, 15 Cr in Tamil Nadu, 12.5 Cr in Telugu States, 10 Cr in Karnataka, and 5.25 Cr in North India, with overseas collections at $11.2M (99 Cr).

Lokah Still Roars At The Box Office

Overall, Lokah’s 15-day box office collections stand at 217 Cr worldwide gross, and the trade expects that the film will reach the 250 Cr gross mark in the 3rd week.

Directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, Lokah is planned as a 5-part movie saga. Chandra, the character who led the first part, is said to be the smallest one in the universe, and many more superheroes will arrive in the later parts.

Paradha Available Now on OTT

Anupama Parameswaran’s Paradha was released in theaters in August and did not do very well at the box office. Within just 3 weeks the film hit OTT, and now it is streaming on Prime Video in Telugu and Malayalam.

Trade Predicts KGF2-Level Rampage for Kantara Chapter One

Kantara Chapter One, the prequel to the pan-Indian blockbuster Kantara (2022), is having a superb craze across Indian languages. The film’s business deals are massive, and the trade predicts a KGF-2-level rampage for Kantara Chapter One. 

If we see only part one collections, Kantara is bigger than KGF, but the sequel of KGF created a sensation with 1200 Cr gross approx. worldwide. Though the Kantara prequel has good craze, many audiences feel that it cannot touch the numbers of KGF Chapter 2.

Teja Sajja and Karthik Gattamneni’s Mirai has been released in theaters worldwide amidst positive buzz, and the response to the film is superb. While the adventurous film is going great at the box office, fans observe that the songs have been removed from Mirai.

The first single of the film, Vibe Undhi, starring Ritika Nayak and Teja, received a good response and brought the initial buzz to the movie. But when the film finally arrived in theaters, the song was completely missing from the movie.
