Anirudh Ravichander is the number one music director in South Indian cinema. The composer is working for Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom. Netizens troll Anirudh for his singing as he releases a new song promo from the film.

Kingdom’s second song, ‘Anna Antene,’ is all set to be unveiled tomorrow, and the makers shared a small promo of the song this evening.

Vijay Deverakonda said that the promo made him emotional, and everyone will feel the same after listening to the song. However, netizens troll Anirudh for his singing.

The Anna Antene promo shows the emotional connection between Vijay Deverakonda and his brother, played by Satyadev.

While the song’s promo has a good feel, the fans complain that the voice of Anirudh Ravichander is not at all good and does not suit the song.

Lately, there has been a constant complaint about the Vikram music composer that he sings almost all songs in his films, without giving a thought to whether his voice would suit the song or not.

A few fans hope that Anirudh will seriously consider this issue and refrain from singing more songs from his compositions.

Movie Ticket Rates Reduced in Karnataka – Will Telugu Producers Wake Up Now?

0

The discussion of ticket hikes impacting the footfalls has been going on for a few years in Telugu cinema. Now, the movie ticket rates have been reduced by the Karnataka Government.

Most Telugu movies in recent years have even failed to see reasonable openings, for which the continuous ticket hikes are said to be the reason.

This issue has been addressed by many producers/distributors/exhibitors for years, but still, the solution has not arrived. Now, the movie ticket rates have been reduced by the Karnataka Government.

This brings up the question of whether the Telugu producers will wake up now or not. Even netizens also suggest that they should follow the new rule of Karnataka.

On Tuesday, the Karnataka government set a Rs 200 limit on ticket prices for regional films as promised by CM Siddaramaiah in the state budget.

An amendment to the Karnataka Cinemas Regulation Rules, 2014, introduced a new sub-rule for price capping. Sub-rule six caps ticket prices at Rs 200 for all language films across state theaters and multiplexes, taxes included.

Coming to the Telugu cinema industry, a few producers accept the fact that hikes impact the collections. However, they still go on hikes for their movies.

Another section of producers compares the Telugu states’ theater ticket rates with Bangalore, Mumbai, and North India ticket prices and says that their ticket rates are still reasonable.

But now the Karnataka government has officially released a note to restrict the ticket prices to 200, including the tax. We need to see what Telugu producers will say now.
