Viduthalai 2’s extended version OTT streaming details

Viduthalai 2 which released during the Christmas weekend opened well but failed to continue the momentum. The film also ended up grossing only around 65 crores worldwide at the box office which is considered below par for the film. Viduthalai 2 Telugu version became an outright disaster posting no numbers. The film’s extended version OTT streaming details are not out.

Viduthalai 2 will be arriving on the OTT on January 17th with an extended version on Zee5. It needs to be seen how the film does on the OTT space. The film has surely disappointed Director Vetrimaaran who made the sequel for more than a year. He will now be focussing on Vaadivaasal starring Suriya which is expected to go on sets this Summer.

Vaadivaasal is also said to be a 3 part film. Suriya is currently busy with his Retro and Suriya45 after which he will be joining for Vaadivaasal. The projected has long been started but the shoot got delayed for various reasons.

Daaku Maharaaj is all set for a Pre-release event in India. The film had a pre-release event held recently in the USA to amp up the expectations. The event became successful where the Trailer was also released. The pre-release event is planned to be held at Arts College in Anantapur on January 9th.

The Pre-release event is planned on a grand note. The trailer also received good applause by garnering more than 12 Million Views in 24 hours. Makers are eyeing to score a big hit with Daaku Maharaaj with the added advantage of the Sankranthi season. The film will also be facing stiff competition from Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vasthunam.

Game Changer Chennai event cancelled

The event planned in Chennai for Game Changer starring Ram Charan tomorrow has been cancelled. The event was scheduled to promote the film in Tamil version with the factor of Director Shankar. The ongoing war between Lyca Productions and Shankar is speculated to be the reason behind this.

Lyca Productions has filed a plaint in the Tamil Film Producers Council to stop the release of Game Changer in the Tamil version. The Production House demands Shankar of completing their film, Indian 3, and proceed with the release of Game Changer there. It is known that Shankar juggled between both Indian 2 and Game Changer for their shoots. Indian 2 became the biggest disaster after its release which hugely angered Lyca Productions.

They are reportedly not okay with Shankar proceeding with Game Changer by neglecting Indian 3’s fate. The Director has also not assured them of the completion of the film so far. This would have prompted Lyca Productions to go hard against the Director.

Pushpa 2 is on a record spree ever since its release. The film broke many records not only in Telugu version but also in the Hindi version making it a Pan India blockbuster. The film has also grossed more than 800 crores in the Hindi version establishing Industry record there. Now, Pushpa 2 has also become Indian Cinema’s Industry hit grossing nearly 1831 crores according to the makers.

In India, Baahubali 2 was the highest grosser till now with 1375 crores gross. But Pushpa 2 has managed to beat this grossing 1355 crores gross in India which is different than the makers’ version. According to Track Tollywood, the film will become India’s biggest grosser only in this week. The worldwide gross will also be closer to 1610 crores and would add 30-40 crores with the holiday period ahead.

The numbers would mostly be from India and the film is also likely to finish closely to 1400 crores and will become the top grosser in India unanimously. Allu Arjun has surely achieved an unbelievable record with this feat and this would stay for a longtime.

Kannada Actor Yash who took a long break after the big success of his KGF Chapter 2 is gearing up with his Toxic: The Movie now. Fans and Audiences have been waiting for an update about the film for a long time. The makers have addressed their request now at last. The update is arriving finally on 8th January on the occasion of Yash’s birthday.

The makers have released a poster confirming the same where Yash was seen smoking while leaning on a car. The update is speculated to be a glimpse from the film. The shoot of the film is also happening currently in various locations and also in a set erected on the outskirts of Bengaluru, especially for the film.

Touted to be a gangster drama, the film is directed by a newcomer Geetu Mohandas, and produced by KVN Productions.
