Rahman Requests Anirudh

Rahman requests Anirudh to work on classical music. It is widely known that music composer Anirudh Ravichander is considered the best musician of the current generation. His fans often compare his work with the legendary music director AR Rahman. The veteran musician talked about Anirudh during the audio launch of his upcoming film, Kadhalikka Neramillai.

ARR said that Anirudh is making very good music, but the Mozart of Madras requested the rockstar to have a classical version of every song so that those songs would be more long-lasting. Rahman felt that Anirudh’s music would reach the younger generation if he worked on classical versions of songs. The Tamil movie lovers are sharing the video clip of this, as Rahman requests Anirudh to work on classical music.

Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Kadhalikka Neramillai, is one of the Pongal releases in Tamil and it has been produced by Red Giant Movies and marks the first collaboration between Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen. Yogi Babu, Lal, Vinay Rai, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Mano, TJ Banu, John Kokken, and Vinothini will be seen in supporting roles in the movie.

Vidaamuyarchi release date is locked. It is widely known that Tamil Star Actor Ajith Kumar’s latest film, Good Bad Ugly was recently announced for 10th April release and it indirectly gave a hint that they do not want Vidaamuyarchi, the other film of Ajith to disturb them.

The film, Vidaamuyarchi, was announced for Pongal release, but it was postponed, much to the dismay of Ajith fans. The latst reports suggest that Vidaamuyarchi release date is locked, and the team is said to have informed their distributors that they are making all the moves to release the film on 30th January. 

The discussions with the team of Hollywood film, Breakdown, are also said to have started with and a solution is expected to arrive very soon with a mutual deal between both the parties. Cetainly, January end release is not good as Pongal Season. But the producers have only that release option as Ajith’s films also need to maintain some good gap.

If Vidaamuyarchi gets released on 30th January  there will be more than 2 months gap for Good Bad Ugly. The fans of Ajith Kumar will be delighted to know that they will have two releases of their favorite hero this year.

Game Changer Budget Shocks Everyone

Shankar and big-budget movies are an inseparable combo. It is a known fact that Game Changer’s budget increased due to delays. Adding to this, Shankar lavishly spent on songs and the entire film. Dil Raju himself revealed that just the songs cost him 75 Cr. Overall, the Game Changer budget is more than 400 Cr. SJ Suryah also recently confirmed the entire budget to be between 400 Cr and 500 Cr without interest.

Half of the budget could be recovered from OTT and satellite business. Theatrically for buyers the film needs to collect more than 225 Cr share worldwide to be Breakeven.

But, for Dil Raju, the film needs to collect a 300 Cr share to get all the money he invested. For this, the film needs to go on a collection rampage in Tamil and Hindi as well. With positive talk, the film can easily collect Rs 200 crores in Telugu .

But for the other 100 Cr share, the Hindi, Tamil, and Kerala markets need to perform strong. For this, the film needs a blockbuster talk. The film needs to collect in the range of 600 Cr gross For Dil Raju to be in a safe position with profits.

Daaku Maharaaj: No Hindi release in theatres

Daaku Maharaaj starring Balakrishna is gearing up for release on 12th January worldwide. The film is in the final stages of post production works and the pre-release events of the film were also held recently. The makers have addressed the media today where they confirmed that Daaku Maharaaj will have no release in theatres in Hindi version.

The team also clarified that only the Tamil version of Daaku Maharaaj will release in theatres adding that censor was not yet done for the same. This means that the Tamil version of the film may release simultaneously with the Telugu version or may release later. But when it comes to Hindi version, the film will release only on the OTT platform.

Recently, the Telangana Government shocked the Film Industry and the Producers by deciding to do away with the ticket hikes and benefit shows in the state. This was expected to badly hit the Sankranthi scheduled films. It is learned that Daaku Maharaaj will not have any ticket hikes in Telangana with the makers showing no interest over the issue.

Recently elected Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman cum Producer Dil Raju told that he would try getting the ticket hikes for the films. But, the Producer of Daaku Maharaaj, Naga Vamsi reiterated that they don’t need hiked ticket prices for their film. However, the fate of Game Changer is still lying in imbalance. The regular price will be sufficient for Daaku Maharaaj but that’s not going to be the case with Game Changer.

Game Changer’s production cost alone is speculated to be between 400-500 as confirmed by the Actor SJ Suryah recently. Regular and existing prices will not be enough for the film to become a blockbuster there. So, it needs to be seen how the Telangana Government officials consider the request of Dil Raju for his own production, Game Changer.
