Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on February 7, 2025. The film’s unit is making sure that it gets the required craze, and it is planning aggressive promotions. Recently, the film’s trailer was released, and it received a positive response. The latest news is Allu Arjun and Aamir Khan are coming for Thandel’s promotions.

Until now, Thandel the movie had three songs released and all were good hits, and lately, the trailer was released now the team gearing up for the event. A trailer release event is happening in Chennai tomorrow. Karthi will grace this event. On Friday the Hindi trailer event planned in Mumbai Aamir Khan is said to be gracing this event.

This weekend a big pre-release event is planned in Telugu states, and the Icon Star Allu Arjun is said to be the chief guest of this event. As Geetha Arts Banner is producing Thandel, Allu Arjun will certainly show his support. Meanwhile, the Akkineni fans are delighted to know that Allu Arjun and Aamir Khan are coming for Thandel’s promotions. Chaitanya acted alongside Aamir in Lal Singh Chaddha, and the Mr. Perfectionist came to the pre-release event of Love Story back then and praised Chay a lot.

Meanwhile, Thandel is censored with a U/A certificate and has a runtime of 145 minutes. Recently, the screening of the film was made to the Producer of the film, Allu Aravind, who is also said to have been impressed and appreciated the team. The film is also carrying a very good buzz with no films releasing in the next month. If all goes well, the film is all set to deliver a 100-crore gross at the box office.

Vijay Antony Questions Parasakthi Title

Vijay Antony and Sivakarthikeyan got involved in an unexpected tussle. It is widely known that Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara have collaborated for the first time on a project that has been named Parasakthi. The film’s Title teaser was released a few hours ago, and the fans of SK were excited about it. However, an unexpected controversy has surrounded the film as Vijay Antony questions Parasakthi Title.

While SK 25 has been titled Parasakthi across languages, Vijay Antony-starrer has chosen to keep Parashakthi as its Telugu title, while in Tamil, it is titled Shakthi Thirumagan. Interestingly both films mark the 25th outing for respective lead actors.

Vijay Antony made an official statement that they have rightfully registered the title in July 2024 with the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce. However, we can see that in the official letter that the actor/music director shared, the title is Paraashakthi, and it is grammatically different from Sivakarthikeyan’s film. But if two films are released with the same title, then there can be solid confusion among audiences.  

Though Vijay Antony questions Parasakthi Title, AVM Productions, the banner that has the rights to the 1952 film starring the legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan, released a statement that they are happy to provide the title to Dawn Pictures which is producing Sivakarthikeyan’s film. The veteran production house also congratulated Sudha Kongara and the team for their project.

Thandel censor report

Thandel, the latest film of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi is all set for release worldwide on 7th February. The trailer of the film was also released yesterday, which showed Naga Chaitanya playing the role of a fisherman, defying the odds to reunite with his love interest, Sai Pallavi. The film’s censor report has also been completed.

Thandel is censored with a U/A certificate and has a runtime of 145 minutes. This is surely a perfect runtime for the film. Thandel also happens to be the biggest budgeted film of Naga Chaitanya to date. The Trailer also showcased the large-scale action episodes present in the film, along with the gripping and emotional love story of the lead pair.

Songs of the film composed by Devi Sri Prasad have already become chartbusters, receiving great praise for the tunes and score. The film is also hoped to provide big numbers on the opening day for Naga Chaitanya to make it his highest.

NTR name not included in Balakrishna’s Paper AD, sparks controversy

A fresh controversy erupted in the form of a Paper AD of Tollywood Actor Balakrishna congratulating him for being conferred with the Prestigious Padma Bhushan Award by the Government of India recently. The AD had the names of all the family members of Balakrishna except his nephew and Tollywood Actor NTR. This sparked an online outrage for the ignoring of his name.

The Paper AD made it to the front page of all the leading dailies today. The AD showed below the list of the family members of both Nandamuri and Nara, the family of Chandrababu Naidu. But there was no mention of NTR and Kalyan Ram which appeared very odd. NTR congratulated Balakrishna immediately after the Actor’s conferment of the Award which was also appreciated by many. Strangely, the name of his other late nephew and Tollywood Actor Taraka Ratna too went ignored.

No one knows if this was intentional or overlooked. But this seriously caused a fresh rift between the fans of both Balakrishna and NTR who often engage in such situations, over any bitter treatment of the Actor. NTR always remained silent regarding these incidents. It is going to be the same even now.

Police issue Notices again to Ram Gopal Varma

Tollywood Director Ram Gopal Varma is once again set to receive Police notices in the case levelled against him regarding morphing of Politician and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu during the release of his film, Vyooham. RGV approached the court in the same case once where he was granted anticipatory bail as well. But, the Police have sent him notices again to his shock.

The Court while granting the bail stated that the Police could continue investigating the case and also ordered the Director to appear before them whenever necessary. Likewise, the Director received notices to appear before the Police on February 4th. It is now learnt that he has communicated to them that he would be unavailable on this date and assured them to change the slot to February 7th through a video call.

The Police are yet to approve this. But most likely, they will be okay with this. So, it needs to be seen how the Director deals with the case. Recently, the Director pledged to make a comeback with an announcement of a film titled Syndicate. He also plans to rope in many acclaimed actors across the Indian film Industry for this film.

Prithviraj Sukumaran confirms that he is still not part of SSMB29

Tollywood’s much hyped film, SSMB29 has kick started its shoot officially. The film stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role and Priyanka Chopra playing the female lead. As for the film, it requires one more crucial role poised to be that of an antagonist. Malayalam Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran was speculated to have also come onboard for this rule. But, he made a fresh statement confirming that he is still not part of SSMB29 officially.

As said, the shoot already began in an aluminium factory at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. A huge set has also been erected for the same. The film’s shoot is also likely to happen for a long time here after which the team will shift to Africa and other foreign locations for which the hunt has already been done.

Coming to Prithviraj’s statement, the Actor declared that the time must fall right for things to take place, revealing that he’s not part of the film until then. There is also a recent speculation of Bollywood Actor, John Abraham being approached for the same role. But this also seems like a rumour.

Director Rajamouli looks very secretive about anything related to SSMB29. The official commencement of the shoot also began privately with only a few crew members being present. He is also believed to hold an official press meet which he did for his previous films and give clarity regarding many details of the film. So, let’s wait until then.

SK 25 is titled Parasakthi

Sivakarthikeyan recently delivered the blockbuster ‘Amaran.’, and the actor announced his next film. The actor has teamed up with acclaimed director Sudha Kongara for his 25th film, which was tentatively titled ‘SK 25’ until today. The film’s shooting has already started, and the makers have now revealed the film’s title and teaser. SK 25 is Titled ‘Parasakthi,’ and the announcement came with an intriguing teaser.

The teaser opens with glimpses of Ravi Mohan (Jayam Ravi) and Atharvaa, against a college backdrop. Atharvaa is shown involved in student violence/politics, and Sree Leela is also introduced in this sequence, and the surprising thing is, that her character’s intro is done with a Telugu dialogue. Ravi’s character looks a bit menacing, and it is hinted that he has some backstory with SK. Siva Karthikeyan enters at the end of the teaser with an electrifying dialogue and screen presence. The fans are currently sharing the teaser and screenshots of it, and they are excited as SK 25 is titled Parasakthi.

The background score by GV Prakash Kumar is superb, and it is also the composer’s second collaboration with Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Pottru. The film draws inspiration from the iconic title Parasakthi, which marked the debut of legendary and veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan. 

Apart from Parasakthi, Sivakarthikeyan is also working on another film with director AR Murugadoss, and the final schedule of the film will start soon. The film’s release date has not been finalized yet but there are rumors of it arriving near Diwali 2025.

Yash’s Toxic postponed to 2026

Kannada Actor Yash took a long time to commence the shoot of his upcoming film, Toxic: The Movie. The Actor previously witnessed a big success in the form of his KGF series, which became a raging hit across the Country and also brought him pan-Indian status. But ultimately he spent much time for the pre-production work of Toxic. Likewise, the film’s release date has now been postponed to 2026.

The film’s release date was initially planned for Summer this year, but it was later scheduled for Christmas. However, due to a long film shoot plan, the film has now been postponed to early 2026. This is a wise decision by the team which also avoids a clash with already scheduled films for Christmas.

Since the film is being planned as a Pan India biggie, its better to have a solo release and 2026 will be a perfect choice for the makers. It is also learnt that the shoot is currently happening on Yash and Kiara Advani for a dance number in the film. The Glimpse released for Yash’s birthday recently also made a resounding knock with fans and audiences liking it.

Jana Nayagan has begun making the trade circles go crazy with its hype. It is widely known that Thalapathy Vijay’s 69th film is the most anticipated because it is the last film. The film’s first look and title were released on Republic Day, but both did not go well with audiences as the title and posters looked more leaned towards Vijay political party.
