Dil Raju, This Could Backfire

0

Dil Raju, the name needs no introduction for those who follow Telugu Cinema. The renowned producer released two films for this Sankranthi, one is Game Changer, and the other one is Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Venkatesh’s film became a blockbuster while Ram Charan and Shankar’s film turned out to be a disaster. The producer vented his frustration in the recent event of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. But the people who saw the speeches at the event are saying that Dil Raju, this could backfire.

Dil Raju faced many obstacles in Game Changer’s shooting but for all those obstacles hero Ram Charan is not at all responsible. Only Shankar is the one who is responsible, for bringing Indian 2 in between and shooting for more days than expected, which resulted in the film having 5 hours of footage. All mistakes were made by Shankar and the production team should have taken care of all these issues. It was a mistake from Dil Raju’s side not to control Shankar who went beyond the planned things.

Ram Charan supported so well for the film, and he did not cause any trouble even in these kinds of confusing situations. But we have seen continuous satirical comments on the Game Changer film from Dil Raju Yesterday, along with the distributors of the film. Definitely, stars can not accept the blame of the entire film, and if someone says that because of them the makers are in deep trouble, it may not go well with stars and fans. That is why people are saying that Dil Raju, this could backfire.

Shankar’s disastrous handling of Game Changer

The problem with Shankar and Dil Raju is, that if they had planned the budget of the movie perfectly, they could have been in a comfortable situation even with the same result. Firstly Game Changer had good non-theatrical business and good theatrical offers but later with shoot delays, and Indian 2’s result, everything came into play, and for that hero can not be blamed.

Dil Raju puts the entire blame on Ram Charan

Now If someone says because of that film I am in trouble, that goes negatively against the star hero who has acted in it. No one can deny that Dil Raju faced issues with the filmmaking and results, but it is better to talk and clear mistakes and to know where they did wrong, and who is the main responsible person for the debacle.

Yesterday, at the Sankranthiki Vasthunam Distributors’ Gratitude Meet, everyone felt harsh criticism was made of Game Changer. Ram Charan’s fans are not happy with this and non-mega fans started trolling Charan for the comments in the event.

Dil Raju’s comments may hurt star heroes

These kinds of things may affect the hero as well, the continuous satires on big-budget films and combinations are not good. Now all-star heroes are doing big-budget films only, and they may not show interest in doing films with Dil Raju because of these comments.

Definitely, all are not failing by making big movies. Mythri movies are pulling off very good results with combinations and big-budget films. So, there was a mistake by Dil Raju in setting combinations and making films, and he needs to correct that instead of blaming big budgets and combinations.

Recently the movie team held a grand trailer launch event in Mumbai, which saw the special presence of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. Apart from ‘Thandel’, Sai Pallavi is also gearing up for ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film, set for a Diwali 2026 release, features Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, with Sai Pallavi portraying Sita. The cast also includes Ravi Dubey, Sunny Deol, and Yash in key roles.

Telugu Distributors frustrated with big budget films

0

The making style of Top Actors films has changed in recent years, with many makers opting for a Pan India appeal and release. This also increased the budget levels and theatrical business. But profits are not encouraging with a few films’ disastrous performances. Before Corona, Distributors situation was different with equal risk and reward. But now they have lost it and are completely frustrated with the concept of big budget films.

The OTT consumption has also become huge for the audience, with some not opting for the theatre experience. This is also taking a big toll on the Distributors and Producers. Intending to get huge profits, they are buying these films for huge prices, which is not resulting in their way. They are unable to recover the bought price even with an average and good word of mouth, let alone the profit and commission.

If the film fails with a negative word of mouth, then recovering even 40% is becoming a herculean task. This has seriously affected a few theatres, which shut their operations, followed by a few distribution offices as well.

A Gratitude Meet has been organised by the Distributors of Sankranthiki Vasthunam today, where they expressed the same in their words. They stated they had seen only 20% profit commission in recent times, even with big-budgeted films. They even vented out their anger on a few big-budgeted films that lacked proper content in them.

Distribution becomes really risky if such largely spent films fail at the box office. Even with good word of mouth, the reward they receive is less, and they lose lots of crores if the film fails. The concept of Pan India is only coming in use for other language Distributors who are making money mostly. When it comes to the Telugu States, the selling rate is very higher and the breakeven mark looks very tough to achieve making Distributors fate vulnerable.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam: Distributors Forgot Venkatesh

0

The distributors’ gratitude meet of Sankranthiki Vasthunam has been the talk of the town due to the controversial statements by many. Normally any event related to the film, all the praises will go to the star hero, then the director followed by other technicians. However, shockingly in today’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam distributors’ gratitude meet, distributors forgot Venkatesh.

All the distributors from Andhra Prades areas attended the event arranged by the Sankranthiki Vasthunam makers. Everyone spoke about the film’s collections, records, their association with Dil Raju, and all praises were poured on Anil Ravipudi, but no one mentioned the lead hero of the film, Venkatesh. Everyone only discussed Dil Raju’s comeback and Anil Ravipudi’s blockbuster streak.

Not mentioning Venkatesh is definitely a shocking thing from the distributors. Even though the senior hero did not grace the event, people cannot ignore the hero and other cast & crew. Director Anil Ravipudi, Producers Dil Raju, and Sirish mentioned Venkatesh but distributors forgot Venkatesh.

Also, the distributors with their words created a hot discussion on the internet about other movies’ collections and publicity, and many people did not agree with their statements.

0

Tollywood Actor NTR has a thrilling lineup ahead. The Actor last year witnessed a big success in the form of Devara which grossed nearly 500 crores worldwide. This also raised the expectation level for his upcoming films. Interestingly, the Actor has onboard three language Directors which helps him establish a good market everywhere.

He has also commenced NTRNeel directed by Kannada Director Prashanth Neel, fame of KGF series and Salaar. This is indeed good planning from NTR. The Actor also received criticism from fans and Audience for wasting time with RRR, though receiving a good response for his performance. RRR. Many felt that his role was sidelined compared to the one portrayed by Ram Charan. But Devara surely brought a big relief for him, and now, with this amazing lineup, he is surely set to make a mark.

Dil Raju Responds on Game Changer 1st Day Poster

0

Producer Dil Raju faced a big debacle with Ram Charan and Shankar’s Game Changer. It is widely known that the political action drama could not deliver even decent numbers for this Sankranthi and became a big disaster at the box office. More than the film’s result, the poster on the release day of it became a topic of discussion on social media. Now, Dil Raju responds on Game Changer 1st Day Poster.

Putting the result aside Game Changer opened decently at the box office with 85 Cr gross. Normally producers announce film collections with a bit of exaggeration. So everyone thought the team of GC will announce around 100 Cr gross poster but the makers shockingly released a 186 Cr poster which created a lot of controversy and negative impact on the film as well.

Today, during the distributors’ gratitude meet of Sankranthiki Vasthunam, the topic again came to discussion, as Dil Raju responded on the Game Changer 1st Day Poster. During the meet, a few media persons asked the producer about the poster of Ram Charan and Shankar’s film.

Dil Raju said that journalists will not have any weaknesses, but as an industry person and mainly as a producer he has many weaknesses as he and other producers are answerable for many people. So Raju said that not only from the side of producers, but these exaggerated posters are coming because of those weaknesses. With this, Raju indirectly said that the decision to release a poster 186 crore number was not from his side, but it was from the hero’s side.

Dil Raju learns from his mistakes

0

Tollywood Producer Dil Raju dominated the Film Industry for years. He also stood as one of the leading Producers making films with most of the Top Actors. But he has been going through a slump in recent years with no big success. His previous films, The Family Star and Game Changer became ultra disasters choking him. And now, Dil Raju has finally learned from his mistakes.

Dil Raju and the team of Sankranthiki Vasthunam attended as chief guests for a Thanking party hosted by the Distributors of the film. He, while speaking at the event, expressed regret for making high-budgeted films. He expressed that Budget was not supreme but content is. He accepted that the disastrous results of these high-budgeted clicks taught him a big lesson.

The Distributors also expressed the same, requesting filmmakers to concentrate on the content and come out of the perception of making high-budgeted films for profits. Sankranthiki Vasthunam achieved a big success, grossing more than 200 crores worldwide. It is also on track to reach the 250 crore mark soon. The film also became the highest-grosser in the Senior Actors category establishing a first record for Venkatesh.
