Nayanthara signs another female-centric film. The actress was the first option for Kollywood for a long time to lead female-centric films, and according to the latest reports, she signed another female-centric movie. Prince Pictures will produce this film, and the director is Arunraja Kamaraj, a multi-talented actor, lyricist, and singer who recently turned into a director.
Arunraja has directed two films, Kanaa and Nenjuku Needhi. Recently, he created a web series called Label, which is now streaming on Hotstar. Label marks Actor Jai’s second OTT title after 2020’s Triples, also streaming on Disney+Hotstar. His feature film lineup includes Breaking News, films with director Gopi Nainar and Enoc, and an unconfirmed one with his Raja Rani co-star Nayanthara that Nilesh Krishnaa is directing.
The official announcement of Nayanthara and Arunraja Kamaraj’s film is expected shortly. Nayantara is the one who believes in content and has a strong role for her, and it looks like a good content film is coming from the team as Nayanthara signs another female-centric movie.
Nayanthara, Lady Superstar, has received a lot of offers in Bollywood after the latest tremendous success of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ directed by Atlee. While she’s in the process of selecting the right project, she is currently committed to raising her one-year-old children, Uyir and Ulag, and only taking on projects that don’t interfere with that.
Nayan is acting for the first time with R. Madhavan in ‘The Test’ directed by Sashikanth. Two female-centered movies, ‘Mannangatti’ and her 75th Film ‘Annapoorani,’ have her in the lead role, with the latter being released worldwide on December 1st.
