Music Director Anirudh Ravi Chander is not only known for his electrifying music, but also for his movie reviews. The young and enthusiastic musician started a trend of posting a hyped tweet on the film he worked before the release from Jailer, and continued it for Jawan,Leo, and Devara. However, Ajith fans are now worried that Anirudh is silent on Vidaamuyarchi.

As mentioned above, for all his recent films except Indian 2, Anirudh posted a tweet with blockbuster symbols before the release of the films and those films achieved big success at the box office success. So, for every film which Anirudh works, the fans and audiences eagerly wait for his review, but Anirudh is silent on Vidaamuyarchi, and did not posted anything about the film.

A few netizens think that Vettaiyan might be the reason for Anirudh not mentioning anything about Ajith Kumar and Magizh Thirumeni’s film. Last year, the music director posted Vettaiyan as a winner but the film did not work big at the box office ended up as below average – average fare. So, this might be the reason for Anirudh deciding to stop posting reviews or hyped tweets about the films.

But Ajith fans are eagerly waiting for Anirudh’s review and continuously asking and tagging him on twitter. Vidaamuyarchi is getting released in theaters worldwide his Thursday, and the advance bookings for the film are strong.

Netflix’s first Telugu web series details out

OTT Giant, Netflix has finally ventured into web series production in the Telugu language. The Platform has also brought onboard Actor Sundeep Kishan for their Super Subbu. A Teaser has also been launched officially showcasing various characters of the series. The series also promises to be a fun ride mixed with family drama.

The series is also directed by Mallik Ram, fame of Tillu Square co-starring Mithila Palkar and Manasa Chowdary. Sundeep Kishan was seen as a job seeker, offered to work as a Sex Education teacher in a village Makhipur where ends up finding trouble. The series looks to evoke laughs while also featuring a village set up.

Sharing the first look video of Super Subbu, the Netflix India regional team wrote, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Netflix on this original Telugu series. It promises to showcase an intriguing setting, fun characters, and an entirely novel premise. With it being Netflix’s first Telugu series, we are extremely excited for the show to reach members everywhere.” Netflix has also launched a series of new shows across languages today.

Thandel Advances: Decent But Not Extraordinary

Thandel is an emotional love story starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film had a fairly good promotional campaign, and almost all moviegoers know that it will hit the theaters on February 7th. However, Thandel advances are decent, but not extraordinary.

After Thandel’s 3/3 songs got success, everyone expected the film would take a massive start at the box Office. But after the film’s trailer was released, somehow it failed to connect to the audineces as much as the audio. This issue certainly seems to have done some damage to the film. Because, Thandel advances are decent, but not extraordinary.

Excluding Andhra Pradesh, the advance bookings for Thandel have opened in Telangana, the Rest of India, and Overseas, where the bookings have started on a decent note and better than Naga Chaitanya’s recent releases, but they are not extraordinary, whereas, people expected it to have a phenomenal start but it is not trending in that way.

A few insiders and people in trade circles think that the team of film might have to release another love trailer to raise more buzz on Thandel. In Andhra Pradesh the movie’s team applied for 50 Rs ticket hike and the bookings are expected to open tomorrow.

Strong Advance Bookings for Vidaamuyarchi

Vidaamuyarchi, the latest action drama starring Ajith Kumar is a few days away from its theatrical release. Normally, even stars need some favorable factors to put good openings for a film. If we see Vidaamuyarchi, the promotional content did not work, and the film is not a regular commercial film. However, still, Vidaamuyarchi is registering strong advance bookings.

The film’s director, Magizh Thirumeni is not a star director and it is also getting released on a week day and in off season like February. Even with all these issues,  Vidaamuyarchi’s advance bookings are trending on very good note. The fans are currently trending the booking details and they are happy that Vidaamuyarchi is registering strong advance bookings.

The advance bookings total in India has crossed 10 Cr mark fpr Vidaamuyarchi, while the Overseas advances are around 4.5 Cr. Overall, the worldwide 1st day advances are more than 15 Cr gross. Valimai with around 48 Cr gross and Thunivu with around 42 Cr gross are the top 2 Ajith openers. So, going by the trend, Vidaamuyarchi certainly will open with more than 40 Cr gross and based on the word of mouth, it can settle at the first position.

Vidaamuyarchi is getting released in theaters after many obstacles, and it is also the first film for Ajith after 2 years and a crucial film for the production house, Lyca Productions, who have faced continuous failures. The film is also getting in Telugu as Pattudala. A Strong WOM may pull some audiences to the theaters.

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan announced his son Aryan Khan’s debut Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The announcement came at the end of the Netflix 2025 slate announcements. SRK was accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan. The announcement video shows Shah Rukh practicing a dialogue “Picture toh saalon se baaki hai” and gets interrupted multiple times by Aryan who wnats his father to have retakes.

Because of the multiple interruptions, the actor loses his cool and says, “Tere baap ka raj hai kya?” to which Aryan appears on the screen with a big smile and replies “Haa.” The video also has a reference to the popular dialogue in Jawan, “Bete Ko Haath Lagane Se Pehle… Baap Se Baa Kar”. The Ba***ds of Bollywood” is the title of Aryan Khan’s Debut Netflix series.

The series marks the sixth collaboration between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment after films like “Darlings”, “Bhakshak”, “Class of ’83”, along with shows like “Betaal” and “Bard of Blood”. Interestingly, Before Aryan, his sister Suhana Khan made her acting debut with a Netflix show. She starred in Zoya Akhtar’s 2023 movie “The Archies”, based on the iconic comic series of the same name.

Birthday Treat: Simbu announces Three films

Kollywood Actor Simbu, fondly called STR, celebrates his birthday today. The Actor has offered a birthday treat to his fans and audiences, announcing three major films that he would be doing. He took to Twitter a while ago, where he announced these films, releasing their first-look posters as well.

He brought on board Director Ramkumar Balakrishna for his STR49, and the first look showed the Actor hiding a knife in a book standing in a back pose. The next film, STR50 will also see him acting as the Producer with a banner launched under the name of Atman Cine Arts. The first-look poster showed a young kid, supposedly the Actor’s young version, holding a fire baton. This film will be directed by Desingh Periyasamy.

The third film, STR51 will be directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, and features the Actors as God of Love as revealed from the poster. The first looks of all these three films have impressed the fans and audiences. They are also going viral on social media platforms now.

Apart from these, Simbu is currently working for Thug Life co-starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Mani Ratnam. Thug Life is tentatively slated for release on June 5th this year. The Actor will have back-to-back releases later with these three films.

Dulquer Salmaan’s reveals his first look from Kaantha

Mollywood Actor Dulquer Salmaan has presented the first glimpse of his First look of his upcoming film, Kaantha. The film also stars Rana Daggubati and Bhagyashri Borse, fame of Mr. Bachchan in her Tamil Debut. The Actor took to Twitter expressing his joy over the release of the first-look poster.

The Actor said that he was extremely happy to release the poster on the day that marks the 13th Anniversary of his journey as an Actor in the film Industry. He also thanked the audience for loving and encouraging him all these years. The poster that was released showed Dulquer Salmaan in an intense pose in a retro avatar.

Set in Madras in the 1950s, the film is a periodical one directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, fame of Docu-series: The Hunt for Veerappan. The shoot of the film has already been completed and the post-production work of the film is under way. The release date will also be announced shortly by the makers. Dulquer Salmaan has scored a blockbuster recently with his Lucky Baskher and Kaantha also seems a promising one following the same flavour.
