Tollywood Actor Prabhas came on board for the film Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu in a cameo appearance. The role was also teased in the film’s Teaser, which was released long ago. Fans and Audiences have been waiting eagerly to witness his look and performance from another periodical backdrop film. The makers have finally released today the first look of the Actor revealing the name of the character he is playing in the film. But, surprisingly, his look has received mixed response.

Prabhas was seen in the role of a sage named Rudra. The divine appearance of Lord Shiva behind him also added a mythological feel to the character. However, this look of Prabhas drew a mixed response from netizens who felt Prabhas didn’t look striking. Some of them also trolled Prabhas depicting him as a misfit for the role. Memes have also been made comparing him with many sage roles played by funny characters of various films. While others felt Prabhas looked good and carried mythological appeal.

This is surprising for both the makers and the audience. Prabhas was thought to be playing the role of Lord Shiva initially, but this was denied by the makers later, which also had Akshay Kumar playing it. So, many wondered what role Prabhas was playing in the film and also waited anxiously. But this mixed response is really disappointing to see.
