Kishkindhapuri 1st week Collections: Crosses Breakeven

Bellamkonda Sreenivas Kishkindhapuri has finished its 1st week with a gross of around ₹17 Cr at the worldwide box office. The film achieves breakeven in the 1st week itself.

The horror thriller’s breakeven is at ₹15 Cr, and the film is already a super hit and is set for a big second weekend. Despite facing the Mirai storm on the other side, the film showed a good hold at the box office.

Kishkindhapuri becomes the comeback hit for Bellamkonda Sreenivas

Bellamkonda Sreenivas had continuous failures, but he scored a solid winner with Kishkindhapuri, which achieved breakeven within the 1st week itself.

Known for Chaavu Kaburu Challaga, Koushik Pegallapati takes the director’s seat for this film. Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens produced it with music by Chaitan Bharadwaj.

Until now, Coolie held the biggest opening in North America for Indian cinema this year, and Pawan Kalyan’s OG is all set to break it with its pre-sales.

Rajinikanth and Lokesh’s Coolie’s final pre-sales stand at $2.5 million , and it opened with $3.1 million premieres in North America. OG is all set to shatter this comfortably.

The surprising thing is even without the trailer release, the pre-sales of the film have already touched $1.85M, and it will record 2 million before the trailer release.

The film is expected to see $2.7M+ pre sales and $3.3M+ in premieres on this trend, and it can even go much bigger if the trailer cut is extraordinary.

There is no other film this year to challenge the OG opening record in North America. It will stand as the biggest opener of Indian cinema in 2025.

Mirai 1st Week Box Office Collections

After a sensational 1st weekend, Teja Sajja’s Mirai holds well on weekdays and ends up registering good collections in the first week.

In the 1st week, the film has collected 98 Cr gross worldwide, including a 50 Cr gross in Telugu states.

The film grossed 6.5 Cr in Karnataka, with Kerala and Tamil Nadu Combined gross of 2 Cr. The North India number is 15 Cr gross, which takes the total all-India gross to 73.5 Cr.

Overseas Gross is approximately $2.8 million, 24.5 Cr, which brings the worldwide total gross to 98 Cr.

Mirai’s 1st week collections are good, and the film will reach the 100 Cr mark today. Looking at the trend, the 150 Cr milestone looks tough.

The fantasy adventure film requires a huge 2nd weekend to reach that milestone. As OG arrives next week, the film needs to pull in as much as possible this weekend at the box office.

Overall, Teja Sajja delivers another blockbuster after Hanuman, and this film puts him in in a big place in the industry.

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 has broken all the records in the country with the opening episode, as it registers 5.9 billion streaming minutes. Also, the Star Maa Channel registers 13.7 TVR for the launch night.

Mahavatar Narsimha Premieres on OTT

Mahavatar Narsimha, an animated film, has become the sensational blockbuster that has collected 300 Cr+ gross worldwide. The movie premieres on Netflix tonight in all languages. 

The movie was released as a small film and created a phenomenon. Directed by Ashwin Kumar in his debut, with the screenplay by Jayapurna Das, it was produced by Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films.
