Right from the time of RRR release more than 2 years ago, there have been continuous fan wars between Ram Charan and NTR fans. Both fandoms fought declaring their hero was superior. While everyone has believed that Ram Charan got bigger fame after RRR, But NTR surprises with Devara and proved his capacity and stardom by giving a bumper opening.

In Telugu, Devara opened with non-SSR numbers. In Hindi also, the film recorded a good opening of 7.5 Cr. Worldwide, the gross is more than 150 Cr on opening day. NTR has certainly showcased his massive stardom after RRR. Registering such numbers with a film directed by Koratala Siva who’s in the lowest point of his career is truly a testament of NTR brand.

Stars are the biggest X factor in bringing audiences in large numbers to the theatres regardless of the movie talk. It’s these stars who put massive record-breaking numbers at the box office. However, even they sometimes need some additional X factor for putting big opening numbers. This X factor could be the director, chartbuster audio, excellent trailer response, or some huge promotions. However, in the case of Devara, NTR has proven every theory wrong and emerged as the single biggest factor behind the blockbuster opening without an X factor.

Devara has opened to a non-SSR record opening in Telugu with more than Rs 80 Cr share. The numbers are bigger than recent pan-India biggies such as Kalki and Salaar. Worldwide the film opens with more than 140 Cr gross worldwide.

Undoubtedly, NTR is one big X factor and the movie was destined for a good opening. But trade and industry people are still in shock seeing such humungous numbers as it Devara does not have another X factor to bring such numbers.

Koratala with Acharaya was in a career slump, audio was not a huge hit, the Trailer received mixed responses and even the release event was canceled. But still, the movie pulled off record numbers. For Devara, NTR certainly is the X factor and the 2X factor as well.

Karthi’s Satyam Sundaram – 1st Day Collections!

Meiyazhagan, titled ‘Satyam Sundaram’ in its Telugu-dubbed version, is a light-hearted drama film starring Karthi and Aravind Swamy in lead roles. It is produced by Suriya and Jyothika under ‘2D Entertainments’.

Upon release, it received rave reviews from audiences, with critics lavishing praise on the performances of the cast, music, and emotional depth. Talking about its collections, the film is estimated to mint a worldwide gross of INR 2.6 crore, which falls short of Karthi’s previous outings in Sardar and Japan but still is a decent start.

Prathinidhi 2 hits OTT, streaming details

Prathinidhi 2, sequel of Actor Nara Rohit starrer Prathinidhi released this year on 10th May 2024. Nara Rohit came back to silver screen after 5 long years with this film. The film was directed by Journalist Murthy with Siri Lella playing the female lead role. Anchor Udayabhanu also played a pivotal role in the film. Prathindhi 2 wasn’t as successful as Prathinidhi. Now Prathinidhi 2 has hit the OTT platform and its streaming details are given below.

Prathinidhi 2 as said didn’t bring audiences to the theatres and the film ended up as a massive disaster. The film is now streaming on Telugu OTT platform, Aha Video. The film might impress audience who are political goers. The film had also suffered censor setbacks due to the political dialogues and certain scenes.

If the early estimates are to be believed, Jr. NTR’s action drama Devara: Part One now holds the record for the biggest opening in terms of first-day worldwide share among non-Rajamouli films.

What makes it even more special is that ‘Young Tiger’ has achieved this feat by surpassing two of the biggest pan-Indian films of Prabhas: Salaar: Part One—Ceasefire and Kalki: 2898 AD. Devara‘s first-day worldwide share (only Telugu version) is estimated to be in the range of INR 80 crore.

While Kalki still holds the record in the overseas belt, Devara has gotten past the sci-fi drama in Andhra Pradesh by a big margin. The Koratala Siva-directorial will enter the elite 100-crore-share club tomorrow. Stay tuned for more such exciting updates.

Thanks to the extraordinary advance bookings before release, Devara: Part One has had excellent footfalls in Telugu states. Upon release, the Jr. NTR starrer received mixed-to-positive reviews from audiences.

Talking about the numbers, Devara is expected to mint INR 75 crore from Telugu states alone. On the other hand, the overseas numbers stand at INR 40 crore. The film registered high footfalls in the state of Karnataka, and even in the Hindi belt, the bookings saw a surge indicating that the the positive word-of-mouth came into play.

A road in Chennai where late legendary Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam resided was renamed after his name on the singer’s fourth death anniversary. The singer passed away after contracting COVID in 2020. Sai Pallavi character revealed in Siva Karthikeyan’s Amaran

Tamil Actor Siva Karthikeyan is currently working on his upcoming film, Amaran. The film also stars Sai Pallavi in the female lead role making her first collaboration with the Actor. Amaran is a real life story based on Major Mukund Varadarajan. Sai Pallavi’s character in Amaran has been revealed today officially.

Sai Pallavi plays the role of Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the wife of late Mukund Varadarajan.
