Trivikram’s comparison of Samantha with Rajinikanth has no logic

Actress Samantha attended Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra‘s Telugu pre-release event today. Tollywood Director Trivikram Srinivas was also invited and while speaking at the event he made some interesting comments. He praised Samantha and also termed her as equally popular like Rajinikanth. These comments have now gone viral on social media platforms. However, Trivikram’s comparison of Samantha with Rajinikanth has no logic and sense.

The Director said that Samantha was too popular in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages just like how Rajinikanth is. This is where the Director lost sense. Samantha didn’t even act in a Malayalam or Kannada film till now. So, how would she gain Rajinikanth like popularity there? She didn’t make a debut in Hindi theatrically as well. She only starred in a web series, Family Man Season 2. So, how would one become popular like Rajinikanth without even making a debut in other languages? But Rajinikanth is an Actor who had great hits in these languages theatrically.

The Director might be quoting the popularity of Samantha for her appearance in Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava song from Pushpa. But alongwith her even Rashmika Mandanna became popular with Srivalli and Saami Saami songs from the same Pushpa nationwide. So, will she be equally popular like Rajinikanth besides Samantha? May be for Trivikram but not for us as Audience.

Deepika Padukone heavily trolled after release of Singham Again trailer

Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone acted as one of the Cops in Singham Again. The film is also the Cop Universe created by Director Rohit Shetty featuring many Bollywood Actors. Singham Again’s trailer was also released recently and netizens couldn’t stop trolling Deepika Padukone heavily for her performance in Singham Again after the trailer’s release.

Deepika Padukone played the role of female cop also being a fan of Singham role played by Ajay Devgan. Her character was introduced doing many stunts just like Ajay Devgan. But this was not at all welcomed by the netizens. They have instantly disconnected with Deepika Padukone’s appearance as a cop and her dialogue delivery is also getting trolled. Many made memes from her scenes in the trailer and termed her as cringe material.

This has been happening with Deepika Padukone since long time from many films. Her expressions and dialogue delivery were getting trolled regardless of the genre of the films surprisingly. Now, the same continued with Singham Again. Ironically, her husband and another Bollywood Actor Ranveer Singh was also trolled for his overboard performance in the trailer.

Nagarjuna and family recorded their statement against Konda Surekha

Today, Tollywood Actor Nagarjuna and his family members have attended the court in person and recorded their statements against Telangana Minister, Konda Surekha. The Minister recently made derogatory comments against Nagarjuna and his family about the divorce issue of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. These became controversial and Nagarjuna’s family took no time to react sharply against her. Now, their fight has become legal before the court.

Konda Surekha openly accused of former Minister and Politician, KTR of sexually assaulting Samantha. She even termed him as the reason behind their divorce. These comments, as said have become viral and many netizens too found her version to be untrue. Nagarjuna, in the same way has decided to teach the Minister a lesson and approached court to file a defamation case against her.

Nagarjuna and family appealed before court to take action against the Minister for irreponsibly making reckless comments and damaging the reputation of the family. Along with Nagarjuna, his wife, Amala and son Naga Chaitanya too appeared before the court. We have to see how the court takes action against the Minister.

Vettaiyan BBFC Censor report

Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth is slated for release on 10th October worldwide. The film has been carrying big hype and expectations from fans and audience. Vettaiyan’s teaser and trailer have also received good praise and raised further expectations. Now, Vettaiyan’s BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) Censor report is out and let’s see what it tells about the film.

The BBFC Censor report surprisingly denotes the film filled with strong violence alongwith sexual violence, sexual threat and horror filled scenes. When it comes to the plot, the film is described as the story of a ruthless criminal activity met with a force from a maverick police officer with a disregard for the rules as he confronts an outbreak of lawlessness.

Earlier, Music Director of the film, Anirudh Ravichander declared the film as a blockbuster on his official X/Twitter handle. Industry circles also expect Vettaiyan would put a strong performance at the box office just like Jailer. But we have to see how the film score since the advance bookings are not that encouraging. The film may change the prospects if it gets a unanimous positive response. Dussehra holidays advantage may also come in handy for the film’s performance.

Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, an Hindi-language action drama film, is also gearing up for a simultaneous Telugu release – on 11th October – with the same title. As part of the promotions, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad today.

As you might’ve guessed, writer-director Trivikram Srinivas and her favorite actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu had graced the event as chief guests. Addressing the crowd, the former has lavished praise on the latter, which took the entire internet by storm.

Most notably, the ‘Guruji’ compared the 37-year-old actor to the legendary Rajinikanth. Yes, in the context of having fan following across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, Trivikram opinioned that Samantha resembles the ‘Super Star’. That is a dream elevation for any actor of Indian cinema.

Ram Charan x Prashant Neel Film Set For Announcement!

Prashant Neel is currently working on the pre-production works of the #NTR-Neel project. A pooja ceremony already took place a while ago. Post this, he is signed to direct ‘Rebel Star’ Prabhas in Salaar: Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam and ‘Rocking Star’ Yash in KGF: Chapter-2.

In spite of these commitments, Neel has agreed to work with ‘Global Star’ Ram Charan in a standalone film; it is rumored that ‘Mega Star’ Chiranjeevi would play a crucial role in this.

As the title reads, the #RC-Neel film is set for a grand announcement very soon. DVV Entertainment is funding this project on a lavish budget. The other cast and crew of the project are yet to be finalized. Stay tuned for more such exciting updates.

The audience is eagerly waiting to see the theme and content teaser of the film and it was expected to come on Dasara but looking at Thaman’s social media post, fans might be in for disappointment yet again

The film has been on set for quite some time and the team not being ready with the teaser is truly surprising. It looks like Shankar is not learning from his mistakes and is not planning things correctly.

Trivikram – The Last To Join The Pan-Indian Race!

Trivikram Srinivas is undoubtedly one of the most prolific filmmakers of Telugu cinema. Known for his terrific dialogue writing, the ‘Guruji’ has created multiple blockbusters in a career spanning over three decades.

But when it comes to delivering a pan-Indian flick, he is the last one to arrive. Trivkram’s contemporaries Sukumar and Koratala Siva have already made an impact in non-Telugu languages with Pushpa: The Rise and Devara: Part One, respectively.

Following the debacle of Guntur Kaaram (2024), Trivikram is finally crafting a pan-Indian film on a huge canvas. Starring ‘Icon Star’ Allu Arjun in the lead role, this is in the backdrop of Ithihaasas, a zone he’s strong in. Harika & Haasini Creations is funding this project on a lavish budget.
