Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu, has created immense buzz, with the title, Ram Charan’s look, and glimpse taking the excitement to the next level.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the Peddi songs. The main reasons are that Buchi Babu has proven his taste in music with Uppena, and A.R. Rahman is the music director for Peddi. Audiences are especially excited for the movie’s first single.

Fans and audiences had expected the first single to release during Dasara, but it didn’t happen. They then hoped for a Diwali release. The movie team also tried to release the first single for Diwali, but the news is that it won’t arrive during the festival. Buchi Babu wants to include video clips with the song, as this increases its chances of making a bigger impact across all languages.

The first song is expected to be a melody, and such melodies have the best chance to reach a wider audience. The single likely to arrive in November.

Official OTT Update for Lokah Drops – Streaming Date Buzz

0

Now even the biggest-budget films are arriving on OTT within 4 weeks. But the Lokah team didn’t close the OTT deal earlier, as they had huge confidence in the film’s content. They intentionally decided to finalize the OTT deal only after the movie’s release.
The film released and not only became a blockbuster — it turned out to be an industry hit, setting a new milestone as the first 300 Cr grosser for Mollywood.

After the massive success, the makers received offers from all major OTT platforms. Initially, there was a buzz that Netflix had acquired the rights, followed by reports suggesting that Hotstar had bagged the deal. Finally, an official update has arrived — Hotstar has confirmed that Lokah: Chapter 1 will be streaming soon.

As per the latest buzz, there are two possible streaming dates — October 17th and October 23rd. However, it is highly likely that the film will premiere on October 23rd in all languages.

As it is a five-part franchise film, the OTT response also plays a crucial role. The movie needs to reach audiences across all languages in a big way, as that will directly impact the craze for the second part. The second part has already been announced, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead, and it is expected to go on floors in the first half of 2026.

Pradeep Ranganathan Eyes Hat-trick of 100 Cr Grossers with Dude

0

Pradeep Ranganathan is the latest sensation from Kollywood, delivering massive blockbusters at the box office. Not just in Tamil, but his films are performing exceptionally well in Telugu too.

With Love Today, Pradeep Ranganathan entered the 100 Cr club. He followed it up with Dragon, scoring back-to-back 100 Cr hits and also joining the 150 Cr club. His next film, Dude, is releasing this weekend, and Pradeep is aiming for a hat-trick of 100 Cr grossers with this one.

Dude is carrying strong buzz in both Tamil and Telugu. With Mythri Movie Makers backing the project, the team has put in major efforts for Telugu promotions. Among the Diwali releases, trade circles are expecting Dude to take the biggest openings.

The rights of Dude have also been sold at record prices for a Pradeep Ranganathan film. To achieve hit status, the film needs to gross over 100 Cr. Even stars like Sivakarthikeyan, Dhanush, and Karthi haven’t scored a hat-trick of 100 Cr films yet. If Pradeep Ranganathan achieves it with Dude, his range will rise to the next level

Kantara Chapter 1 Becomes 2nd Biggest Dubbed Grosser in Telugu States

Kantara Chapter 1 has collected around ₹90 Cr gross so far in the Telugu states. With this, the film has surpassed Rajinikanth’s biggest grossers in Telugu states like 2.0 and Jailer, becoming the second biggest dubbed grosser.

With this, the Top 2 dubbed grossers in Telugu states are both Kannada films — KGF 2, which collected around ₹150 Cr gross, and Kantara Chapter 1. Kantara Chapter 1 is definitely expected to achieve ₹100 Cr gross in Telugu states and may end around ₹110 Cr gross.

The movie’s theatrical business was done on a recoverable basis by taking advances. For those advances, the film needs to collect around ₹140 Cr gross, which seems impossible. However, there is no risk for distributors as the deals were made on a recovery basis. Still, achieving ₹100 Cr gross in Telugu states is a big milestone.

If the film had released with a buzz similar to KGF 2, it could have easily reached the KGF 2 range in its full run as well.Overall, the film has collected over ₹650 crore gross worldwide in 13 days and is heading towards the ₹800 crore mark in its full run.

Prabhas’s ‘The Raja Saab’ Single Faces Heat from Chiranjeevi’s ‘Meesaala Pilla’ in Sankranthi Music Battle

0

Sankranthi box office race is shaping up to be the most interesting battle for both audiences and the industry. With multiple films lined up for Sankranthi, there is always a lot of comparison regarding the films’ business and promotional content before release. These comparisons also help all films, as audiences show great interest in them. This is the reason why, during festivals, not just one film but multiple films score huge revenues.

For this Sankranthi, the two main biggies releasing are Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Gaaru and Prabhas’s The Raja Saab. From The Raja Saab, the teaser and trailer are already out. The team released visual content before the audio to showcase the scale of the film, where Maruthi succeeded.

Now it’s Thaman’s turn to deliver a big chartbuster album. The team is currently shooting songs in foreign locations. The first single is set to release on Prabhas’s birthday, 23rd October. Normally, releasing a single from a big film comes with a lot of pressure because expectations are high. Due to Prabhas’s previous films not having much scope for commercial songs, audiences are expecting The Raja Saab to bring the mass Prabhas factor, which the team is promising consistently.Adding to this pressure, Bheems has created another challenge for Thaman by delivering the chartbuster Meesaala Pilla song in Chiranjeevi’s film. Since both films are releasing for Sankranthi, there will definitely be comparisons between the two songs. It will be interesting to see where Thaman’s first single for The Raja Saab stands in the comparisons.

Dil Raju Not Stepping Back from Big Projects – Ready to Take Risks

0

Dil Raju, who is known for delivering blockbusters with perfect planning and controlled budgets since his early days, seems to have lost that balance in recent years. His film budgets have been increasing, while the content quality has been decreasing. As a result, Dil Raju’s success ratio has taken a hit. This year, he faced a major setback with Game Changer, which went over budget and reportedly caused heavy losses.

Many in the industry and audience believed that Dil Raju would stay away from big-budget films for a while. However, he seems more determined than ever to take bold risks. He is currently producing a big-budget film with Vijay Deverakonda, is in talks with Ajith for a project directed by Marco fame Haneef, and is also discussing a film with Salman Khan under Vamshi Paidipally’s direction. In addition, he’s planning a Pawan Kalyan–Anil Ravipudi collaboration, a high-budget project with Sukumar, and there’s even buzz about a Sankranthiki Vasthunam remake with Akshay Kumar. Apart from these, several more projects are said to be in Dil Raju’s pipeline.

So, Dil Raju is far from being down after Game Changer. Yes, he has learned valuable lessons from that film and other recent setbacks, but he is not stepping back from big ventures—instead, he’s moving ahead with calculated decisions and renewed confidence.

Telusu Kada – Big Business, Low Buzz

0

Four films are releasing this Diwali — Telusu Kada, Mithra Mandali, Dude, and K Ramp. If we look at the budget or casting, Telusu Kada could have easily been the No.1 film this Diwali, as Siddhu is a much bigger star than the others. However, the promotional content hasn’t worked in favor of Telusu Kada, which has affected its buzz.

Even though with low buzz the film carries the highest business value among the Diwali releases, its Telugu states’ business has been done on an advance recovery basis at a ratio of ₹16 Cr. For K Ramp, the breakeven value is around ₹6.5 Cr, Dude is valued at around ₹10 Cr, and Mithra Mandali at around ₹4 Cr. Among all these, Telusu Kada has the biggest business and needs to attract a larger audience to achieve breakeven.

The team is hiding the main hook point of the film, which they want to reveal only in theatres. This has created some confusion about the film’s genre. However, the team is confident that audiences will connect to the point once they watch it. If that happens, breakeven is definitely achievable.

Meesaala Pilla is a chartbuster

0

The lyrical video of the most anticipated Meesaala Pilla is finally out. Composed by Bheems Ceciroleo with lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla, the music is instantly catchy and allows for a clear understanding of the lyrics—something we rarely see nowadays. Recently, in most Telugu songs, music is completely dominated by beats, and people often cannot even understand the lyrics

The lyrics are so good that they even reveal an exciting plot twist: Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara play a divorced couple, where Chiranjeevi wants to reunite, but Nayanthara refuses. The song is presented in a very entertaining way and is definitely set to rule the internet. Bheems delivers again for Anil Ravipudi, following Sankranthiki Vastunnam.

One of the biggest highlights of the song is the return of Udit Narayan, singing for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film after a long hiatus. Shweta Mohan compliments him beautifully.

Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara beautifully embrace their characters. Chiranjeevi brings back his vintage entertainment and attitude to the song, which works so well. The only minor complaint is about the VFX, which could have been better—but it might be corrected in the film version. Other than that, everything about the song is fantastic.

Anil Ravipudi scores a sixer with this promotional content.
