Along with Malayalam audiences, the Telugu viewers are also excited about Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3. The director said that the film is beyond money, and he has new plans to make it.

Filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, in a recent public interaction, said that Drishyam 3, featuring Mohanlal as Georgekutty, will have a new approach. He stated he sees the third film’s events as occurring ‘naturally’ for Georgekutty’s family.

Ansiba Hassan, who played the elder daughter role of Mohan Lal in the film, said that the film concentrates on the family’s emotions rather than crime and investigation.

Director Jeethu Joseph said that Drishyam 3 is much beyond money for him, and he is not seeing it as a cash grab, and viewers will notice this once they watch the film. He also said that there is a possibility of a fourth film in the franchise, but he does not have the concept yet.

Jeethu first envisioned the climax when thinking about Drishyam 2. He suggests that Drishyam 3 was also created similarly. During lunch with Lalettan after watching Drishyam 2, he inquired about a third film. The director, who debuted in 2007 with Detective, recalled that the actor loved the climax he suggested.

The third film in the Drishyam franchise is likely to start next year in Telugu, while all Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu versions will hit theaters in the same period of time.

Meanwhile, Jeethu eagerly anticipates the release of his latest thriller, Mirage, reuniting Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali for their sixth project together after Kishkindha Kaandam.
