Actress Payal About Allu Arjun’s Pushpa
Sukumar is set to direct a forest-based crime backdrop Pan India Film titled Pushpa. This project features Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. It’s going to be the third combination of Arya-Sukku after Arya and Arya 2.
The pre-production works of Pushpa were completed and the team is busy in finalizing the final cast. Earlier Vijay Sethupathi was roped for a key role but he walked out of the project due to some reasons and recently many rumours floated around social media saying Payal Rajput will shake her legs with Bunny for a special song in Pushpa and she will be seen in one more dance number of Indian 2. Even these rumours reached Payal and she has given clarity that she was not approached for any such kind of songs and asked to stop spreading the fake news through her Instagram handle. Pushpa is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamshetty Media while Devi Sri Prasad is working as a music director.
Tollywood Producer Died Due To Corona
Producer Pokuri Rama Rao passed away at a city hospital on Friday evening at the age of 65. A few days ago he was admitted in the hospital as he was tested positive for COVID-19. He had undergone a cardiac surgery ten months ago. So, his health weakened and stopped responding to the doctor’s treatment and finally lead to his death. His last rites were performed on Saturday at Erragadda Smashana Vatika.
Pokuri Rama Rao and his brother Pokuri Babu Rao had bankrolled several films under the banner Eetharam Films, which was founded by actor Gopichand’s father, director Tottempudi Krishna. They won a Swarna Nandi award in 1990 for Erra Mandaram, as well as Rajata Nandi awards for Neti Bharatam and Vandematharam in 1983 and 1985 respectively. Later, when Gopichand became an actor, the brothers even produced some of his films like Ranam, Yagnam and Ontari.
Anjali’s Telugu Film Direct OTT Release Details
Balloon is a Tamil movie starring Anjali and Jai in the lead roles. It’s a horror-comedy entertainer released in 2017 (Tamil Version) and received decent reports from the audience and critics.
Telugu dubbing works for this film have to be interpreted due to financial issues in 2017. Recently the Telugu dubbing works of Balloon were finished and it’s ready to be premiered on Zee5 from 10th July. Anjali and Jai paired up for the second time after a successful film Journey. Anjali will also be seen in Anushka’s Nishabdam, Power Star’s Vakeel Saab along with the other Telugu film titled Anandha Bhairavi. On the other hand, Zee5 delivered a hit series Loser and an utter thriller 47 Days. Balloon features Raj Tarun in a guest role and Yogi Babu, Nagineedu, Joy Mathew, and Ramachandran Durairaj as the supporting cast. It was directed by Sinish under the production of Dhilip Subbarayan, Arun Balaji, and Nandakumar. Yuvan Shakar Raja composed tunes for this movie.

Shruti Hassan’s Film Releasing Directly On OTT Platform
Direct OTT release has become common due to the unpredictable situation around us. Covid19 positive cases spike has been increasing day by day and there is no clarity about re-opening of theatres. Producers across India are going for OTT release by skipping theatrical release if they are getting a good offer. Even OTT platforms are ready for offering a good amount to filmmakers.
Already a couple of films are streaming directly on OTT platforms and there are about a dozen of films scheduled for direct release on different platforms. South Indian actress Shruti Haasan who made her acting debut in 2008 has done several films across various languages. Her upcoming Bollywood film “Yaara” which is action thriller is all set to release directly on Zee5. This film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia which is an official remake of the french film “A Gang Story”. An official statement from makers is that Yaara will be streaming from 25th July on Zee5. This will be the first film for Shruti Hassan which opted for direct release. Currently is has 2-3 films which are under the production stage and one of them us Ravi Tej’s Krack which is being directed by Gopichand Malineni.
Tollywood’s Backbone Effected With Corona
Hyderabad being a metropolitan city is now seeing the severe corona crisis with about 16,000 COVID-19 cases. The virus is rapidly spreading in the city but the Telangana government says that the situation is still under control.
The COVID-19 has made its way to almost all the fields including the political and film industry. Recently, some MLAs and home minister of Telangana were tested positive for this deadly virus. Also from movie actors and serial actors were infected with it. The latest report says that Coronavirus entered the premises of Ramoji Film City. RFC was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest integrated film city. Two employees of Eenaadu working in Ramoji Film City were tested COVID-19 positive and undergoing treatment. Blood samples of 50 more employees are sent for testing as they also work on the same floor. Many small budget films and tv serial teams are currently shooting in Ramoji Film City. Now they are worried after knowing this news.
Another Two New Actors To Make Their Debut
Satish Vegesna started his film career as a writer and made his directorial with Dongala Bandi which did not create any impact at the box office. After a long gap, he delivered a national award-winning film like Shathamanam Bhavati produced by Dil Raju. Later he has done a film in SVC banner Srinivasa Kalyanam and this year he came up with Entha Manchi Vadavura but none of them was successful.

He feels that it would be better if his son gets launched under the production of star producers like Dil Raju. Even Tollywood leading producer Suresh Babu has also confirmed that his 2nd son will be making his debut next year.
