OTT platforms are betting high on new content to keep the audience binged. Already there are several OTT platforms are competing to grab the digital rights for any movie. A few months back Tollywood producer Allu Aravind launched his OTT platform exclusively for Telugu content. They have made several web series and bagged Tollywood’s hit film rights. But none of them were successful till now. Allu Aravind has started looking for direct release films on their platform and a film titled “Run” was premiered a few days back on Aha which failed completely. Yet another film “Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna” digital rights were grabbed by Aha which started streaming on Aha from yesterday. This film is getting a good response from the audience as well as from critics. With this film finally, Aha had witnessed success and they are streaming the recent digital hit “Krishna And His Leela” on their platform from today. RGV’s Power Star Film Release Date
Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma has been delivering dud films past few years. Now he has been releasing back to back films on an OTT platform with pay per view system. He already released “Climax” and “Naked” on the Shreyas ET platform and the team of ShreyasET claimed that both these films are profitable ventures and collected record revenue within few hours.
Ram Gopal Varma has announced 3 more new projects and one of them was titled “Power Star”. Power Star film will be based on Tollywood stars actor Pawan Kalyan and a few days back he tweeted that this film casts PK, MS, NB, TS, a Russian Women along with 4 children, 8 buffalos and RGV himself. This may be a satirical film. RGV is all set to start the shoot of this film very soon and he is planning to release the film on Shreyas ET platform on September 2nd on the eve of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday. Recently he shared a pic of the artist who will be seen as Pawan Kalyan, sources say that he has been selected as he appears to be Jr. Pawan Kalyan on TikTok.
This Is What Happened To Baahubali Prequel Series
India’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali1 and Baahubali2 has created many records across the world at the box-office. There were many franchises planned for Baahubali by Director Rajamouli and his team. They initially launched an animated series that was available on the OTT platform and cartoon toys of Baahubali characters. In an interview director, Rajamouli has revealed that each character has a separate story about how their character was designed.
After few months Baahubali team has launched “The Rise Of Shivagami” book (novel). Later the leading OTT platform Netflix has announced an original web series titled The Prequel Of Baahubali. Based on the novels Netflix and director Deva Katta have decided to take a 13 episode series and release it in Summer 2020. But Netflix’s creative team were not satisfied with the initial output which completed its shoot. With this, Netflix has decided to take time for the script work and other graphic work to bring the best output. The rumors that Baahubali prequel has been shelved is absolutely false, Netflix will complete this project and release it in next year in multiple languages. This will be the first original web series from Tollywood that is being bankrolled by Netflix India.

Brahmanandam To Make A Strong Come Back
The first name which comes to mind when someone talks about comedian is Brahmanandam who is popularly known as Bramhi. He acted in more than 1000 films and hold Guinness World Records. From the past few years is hardly seen in just 2-3 films as filmmakers are going with many new comedians.
Lastly, he appeared in Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo, Ram Gopal Varma’s Amma Rajyamloo Kadappa Bidalu, and Varun Tej’s Gadhalakonda Ganesh. Now the latest news is that a leading entertainment channel has approached Brahamanandam for a comedy serial and seems that Bramhi is also showing interest to make his appearance on the small screen. This is not the first time for Brahamanandam, earlier he appeared as a judge for a comedy show which failed to entertain the audience. But this time he is making sure of everything to win viewers heats. The pre-production work is going as of now and much more details regarding are still awaited.

The first half of 2020 has been completed with lots of unexpected moments. Everyone has expected a blockbuster 2020 with many anticipated films releasing this year but the situation is quite the opposite. Though 2020 has started with a bang, Corona outbreak has completely changed the scenario.

Sequel For This Successful Film Confirmed
A sequel for a successful film is not new to our industry but this sequel is quite interesting. Recently a film which is produced by leading production houses has released its film directly on the OTT platform. This film has generated a good response from the audience and critics as well.
We are talking about the film “Krishna And His Leela” which stars Sidhu Jonnalagadda, Shraddha Srinath, Seerat Kapoor, and Shalini Vadnikatti in the lead roles. Apparently, this is the first film that was successful after a series of disasters that directly released on OTT platforms. Recently actor Sidhu has confirmed that there are planning for the sequel of this film which will be a continuation for Krishna And His Leela. Seerat Kapoor will be the lead actress and other details regarding this project will be revealed soon. As Krishna And His Leela is trending on Netflix, Telugu OTT platform Aha has decided to start streaming this film on their platform too. This film will be even available on the Aha platform from 4th July.

As we reported earlier about Tamannaah’s signing a project for Aha platform few days back, now there’s news coming about her show. Aha creative team is planning a talkie show with Tamannaah Bhatia rather than a web movie. Already there were several talkie shows that were hosted by stars like Manchu Lakshmi, Rana, and few others. Now similar type talkie show were Tamannaah will be interacting with Tollywood stars is being considered which will be streaming episode wise on the Aha platform. If everything goes well it would be good to see a digital talkie show soon and the other details regarding this will be out soon.
