Vaishnav Tej- Rakulpreet film aiming for October release

Vaishnav Tej, who made a sensational debut with Uppena earlier this year, is busy shooting for his untitled film with Krish. The movie which has been in production for quite some time will feature Rakulpreet Singh opposite the young actor.

This film will have a forest-based backdrop that will be completely shot in and around Hyderabad. The makers are planning to release the film on 8th October. Interestingly, Sai Dharam Tej’s republic is also slated for an October release and will hit the screens on the 1st.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that director Surender Reddy has also approached Vaishnav Tej for a film. While further details and an official confirmation on the same is awaited, more announcements on upcoming projects featuring Vaishnav will be done soon.

Rakul, who was last seen in Nithiin’s Check has been away from Tollywood for a while and has been featuring in major Bollywood projects. Post this Krish film, she has a number of Bollywood releases lined up as well.

Sridevi Soda Center to bring Mahesh, Prabhas and Charan together

Sudheer Babu’s upcoming film Sridevi Soda Centre is being promoted on a massive scale all over. Now the makers are going to take it a step forward and are going to involve Tollywood’s biggest stars in the promotions. Superstar Mahesh Babu, Rebelstar Prabhas, and Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be promoting the movie through their social media platforms.

The action drama which will feature Aanandhi opposite Sudheer Babu has been in making for quite some time. The recently released song ‘Mandhuloda’ along with the film’s teaser has evoked good curiosity.

The movie has reportedly come out well much to the maker’s satisfaction. This is the reason the rights of the movie for Telugu states were bought by ace producer Lakshman for a whopping 9crores. This is a big sum in these conditions and seeing his confidence, the distributors are also enthusiastic about the movie.

The makers have now confirmed that a similar teaser featuring Rana’s character Daniel Shekhar will be out soon. Much like the glimpse released on 15th August, Rana’s teaser will also focus on his rivalry with Bheemla Nayak.

Meanwhile, the glimpse featuring Bheemla Nayak has raked in a whopping 10 million + views and 700k plus likes in 24 hours. This is a record highest both in terms of views and likes for any glimpse in India.

After SVP and Pushpa leak, Mythri Movie Makers approach cybercrime

Mythri Movie Makers are a troubled bunch these days. Both of their upcoming Tollywood biggies Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pushpa have become the target of piracy. While the Mahesh Babu starter films ‘blaster’ was leaked hours before the actual release. Similarly, Pushpa’s first single and even some fight sequences have been leaked much to the agony of the filmmakers.

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata blaster was scheduled to release on the morning of 9th August. However, due to the leak, the movie unit had to rush the release and uploaded the teaser at midnight.

Now with a major chunk of Pushpa leaking, Navin Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar have approached cyber crime department of Hyderabad police.

The makers have released an official statement condemning the actions and expressing their hurt. The production house stated that the police have assured them of swift action and that the culprits will be caught at the earliest.

Aadi, Payal Rajput come together for TMK

Aadi Saikumar and Payal Rajput will be seen on screen together in their upcoming film TMK. Directed by Kalyanji Gogana who earlier made Natakam, this film was launched in Hyderabad on Sunday. This will be Aadi and Payal’s second film together. The RX100 beauty will also be seen opposite Aadi in Kirathaka.

The film has a heavy supporting cast and will feature Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anoop Thakur, and Purna in key roles. Nagam Tirupathi will bankroll the film under the Vision Cinemas banner and Sai Kartheek will score the tunes.

Meanwhile, Aadi is also busy with a bunch of other films like Kirathaka, Black, and Amaran. Payal Rajput also recently started shoot for her next film Angel.

Kashish will also be seen opposite Kalyan Dhev in crime thriller Kinnerasani.

The actress said that although she wanted to get into films, she had no idea where to begin. She happened to meet Nagarjuna during an ad commercial shooting. At the shoot, Kashish asked him if she could try her hands at films and he was quite encouraging and guided her.

The actress who is just stepping into the world of films said that films are a different experience altogether. While modeling is about an individual, films are about the entire unit and can work out only on teamwork

NTR and Ram Charan EMK promo is out

Jr NTR will be returning to small screen with Evaru Meelo Koteswardu. The quiz show will see a number of Tollywood celebrities testing their knowledge and luck on the hot seat. The show will start with the RRR stars. Ram Charan will be the first guest on the show and fans are all excited to hear more updates and stories from the movie sets.

A special sneak peak of the show was shared by Jr NTR on social media. The first episode of the show featuring Ram Charan will be aired on August 22nd.

Jr NTR, who is making a comeback to the small screen after 4 years will be hosting the quiz show for the first time. The show’s first three seasons were hosted by Nagarjuna while Chiranjeevi hosted the fourth season.

A special set has been erected at Annapurna Studios for the show and fans are eager to catch young tiger on the small screen. He had earlier hosted the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1 and received great applause for his hosting.

Sai Dharam Tej is Panja Abhiram in Republic

On the occasion of Independence Day, the makers of Republic released a poster revealing Sai Dharam Tej’s character in the film. The young actor will be playing a District Collector in the film named Panja Abhiram.

Republic will be an action-packed commentary on the Indian democratic system and how politicians yield supreme power over the civil servants and courts. Ramya Krishna is seen playing the role of a politician while Aishwarya Rajesh plays Sai Dharam Tej’s love interest.

Deva Katta, who is known to mix political elements with commercial elements effectively has been working really hard on ‘Republic’. This genre is definitely his strength as proven by ‘Prasthanam’.

The movie was earlier set to release on 4th June however the pandemic spoiled the plans and now the makers are looking to release it on September 3rd. JB Entertainments is bankrolling this political drama and music is scored by Manisharma. It was earlier rumoured that Republic would release on OTT. However, boh Sai Dharam Tej and the makers have stated that the film would release only in movie theatres.

Nikhil to star in a spy thriller as well!

Spy thrillers seem to be the flavour of the season. It all started with Adivi Sesh’s Goodachari in 2018 followed by Gopichand starred in Chanakya in 2019. Akhil is also coming up with Agent soon and now, actor Nikhil will also be seen as a spy in his upcoming film.
