Vijay Devarakonda’s AVD Cinemas to open soon

Like many of his contemporaries, Vijay Devarakonda is also a man of entrepreneurial spirit. After launching his clothing range ‘Rowdy’, the actor will be soon coming up with his multiplex.

Vijay is collaborating with Asian Cinemas to set up AVD Cinemas (stands for Asian Vijay Deverakonda Cinemas) in Mehboobnagar. The multiplex is in its final stages and will open soon. Already Asian Cinemas has collaborated with Mahesh Babu and launched AMB cinemas back in 2018 in Hyderabad.

AVD cinemas launch date will be announced soon and it will be equipped with all state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the movie viewing experience. After the Mehboobnagar multiplex, Vijay Devarakonda along with Asian Group plan to set up multiplexes in other areas of Telangana as well.

Hindi remake of HIT: The First Case goes on floors

Hindi remake of 2020’s thriller HIT: The First Case that featured Vishwak Sen in lead role went on floors today. A muhurat Puja ceremony followed by the first shot took place which featured lead actor Rajkumar Rao.

The original film featured Vishwak Sen as a police officer in a special team that investigates serial murders on one hand and is also traumatized by his past on the other. The film received great accolades from the audience as well as critics. The film was produced by Nani and a sequel is also underway and will see Adivi Sesh in the lead role

Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations will be producing the remake while Sanya Malhotra will replace Ruhani Sharma in the Hindi version. HIT: The First Case remake will see Sailesh Kolenu return as the director.

“My friend Gopichand scored a blockbuster with Seetimarr… very happy for him! Kudos to the movie team for coming forward to release the first big film post the Covid 2nd wave, despite the prevailing circumstances.”, he posted along with a picture of a whistle.

Both Prabhas and Gopichand are thick friends and have shared quite a close bond for the last many years. It’s a well-known fact that Gopichand was the antagonist in Prabhas’ first major hit Varsham back in 2004. In a recent promotional interview, Gopichand even mentioned how he loved the film’s trailer and expressed confidence over Seetimaarr’s success.

Chinmayi to make acting debut with Most Eligible Bachelor

Singer and dubbing artist Chinamayi is all set to make her acting debut with Akhil Akkineni’s Most Eligible Bachelor. The movie is slated to release on 8th October and also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The revelation of Chinmayi’s debut was recently made on the occasion of her birthday recently. Husband Rahul Ravindran and other friends of the singer wished the singer for her acting debut.

The singer also shared a post confirming the same. While the exact details of her role are still unknown, it is being said that it will come in at a crucial juncture of the film.

Bommarillu Bhaskar is directing this movie and Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma are bankrolling this project under GA2 pictures. Gopi Sunder has scored the music for the film and the songs released till now are already performing quite well.

RP Patnaik makes strong comments on Sai Dharam Tej’s accident

Sai Dharam Tej’s accident has got the entire T-town worried with wishes for the young actor’s recovery pouring in from all quarters. Many film celebrities and well-wishers rushed to Appollo Hospital where the actor is undergoing treatment.

Following the developments on the matter, music director RP Patnaik made some interesting suggestions to the police who have booked the actor on rash and negligent driving. Taking to his social media handle, Patnaik said,

“Request the police, a simultaneous efforts to file a case against the construction company which is the reason for accumulation of sand on the road and also against the municipality for not keeping the road clean as and when, while filing a case against Saidharam Tej for speeding. This action may help to alert other construction activities in other areas of the city to be careful.“

The construction company’s role is also under scrutiny and the disposed sand from the site has now been cleared. It now needs to be seen if the construction company is also booked under appropriate sections for being a cause for Sai Dharam Tej’s accident.

RRR officially pushed further from October release

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR has created waves just on its announcement back in 2018. Since then, the movie has been facing delays after delays. Since the day the movie went on floors, The RRR release date has become a hot topic.

The movie already has had three release day changes. Initially planned for 30th July 2020, the movie then moved to 8th Jan 2021. From this date, it was pushed to 13th October 2021 and now has been again officially postponed. The RRR team officially took to social media to make the announcement.

The new release date hasn’t been announced yet and the team is still in the process of finalizing the date. With RRR being a pan India film, it is crucial that theatres across India are functioning with complete occupancy in order for it to perform as per expectations.

Nithiin’s upcoming gets titled Macherla Niyojakavargam

Nithiin who was seen in mostly soft roles of late will be playing an action-packed role in his next. MS Raja Shekhar Reddy is directing this action entertainer. Macherla Niyojakavargam has been finalized as the title for this film. It will be produced by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy on Sreshth Movies banner. An action-oriented motion poster was launched on the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi.

It’s a massy title and it indicates that the film is going to be a pucca mass and commercial entertainer with high action elements. Mahathi Swara Sagar has provided a wonderful BGM for the motion poster.

Krithi Shetty will play the female lead in this big-budget film. The movie will also have of a stellar cast and a strong technical team working for it.

Sai Dharam Tej accident: police file a case of negligent driving

Young hero Sai Dharam Tej who met with a serious bike accident last night in Hyderabad is now steady and recuperating. The doctors in an official statement conveyed the same and added that no injuries were received to the head or spine.

As soon as the news of the accident spread, the actor’s family members and well-wishers rushed to the hospital. Pawan Kalyan, Allu Aravind among others rushed to get an update on the accident and injuries.

While his recovery is good news, the Raidurgam police have now booked a case of rash and negligent driving against the actor. Cases under IPC sections 336, 184 of the Motor Vehicle Act have been booked against Sai Dharam Tej.
