Incidentally, Naga Vamsi had earlier posted a similar update before Ala Vaikuthapurramulo release along with the film’s poster. This Allu Arjun starter also released on 12th January last year and smashed box-office records. Now seeing Vamsi’s confidence, Pawan Kalyan fans are also energized.

Ram Charan and Shankar film gets a new addition

0

Ram Charan and Shankar’s upcoming film has been grabbing eyeballs from the day it was launched in a glittering ceremony early this year. The film recently completed its first schedule in Pune and a special song with a massive set was also shot.

Dila Raju was earlier bankrolling the project individually. However now, he will be joined by Zee Studios which will be backing the project as well. It was not possible for Dil Raju to handle Ram Charan and Shankar’s project alone hence the team had to bring in a large corporate studio for the same.

Incidentally, Shankar’s other film Indian 2 was also supposed to come out of Dil Raju’s production. However, Dil Raju on realizing heavy production costs, and Kamal Haasan’s current form backed out. Now that the ace producer has come on board for Shankar’s RC15, the production costs are spiraling out of allocated budgets hence Zee has been brought on board.

RC 15 will star Kiara Advani in lead opposite Ram Charan. RC15 is of political drama genre and will have an extremely powerful message for the current times.

This film is going to be on an anti-corruption theme. Ram Charan’s character is going to play an anti-corruption crusader in this social drama. This film is going to be unlike any of the other Shankar films. Reportedly, heavy usage of VFX and costly sets that are a part of Shankar’s films will be missing in RC15.

The film will have a series of guest appearances just like Soggade Chinni Nayana. While Monal Gujjar has been picked to play a special cameo, now there’s another addition to the film.

Jathiratnalu actress Faria Abdullah has been signed in for a special song in the film. The actress had made a cameo appearance recently in Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor

Anup Rubens will compose Bangarraju’s music. Bangarraju will be produced under Nagarjuna’s home banner, Annapurna Studios.

Chiru teaming up with small directors; Is it Koratala effect?

0

Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva’s Acharya took a long time in making. While Covid played a spoilsport last year and early this year, the film still took way more time than usual. One of the biggest reasons for this is constant changes in the script and improvisations suggested by Mega Star.

The film had to wander off from its original path many times. Chiranjeevi’s involvement and Koratala’s improvisation pushed many schedules off track. The constant creative differences between the Koratala and Chiranjeevi even led to the director requesting Chiru to back off.

Because of this reason, it is being reported that Chiranjeevi has decided to change his strategy. He has decided not to team up with star directors for a while and instead work with smaller filmmakers who would not just take his suggestions but also wrap up on time.

Megastar’s next films will be with Mohan Raja, Bobby, Meher Ramesh, Maruthi and Venky Kudumula, all of whom are not in the star league and are ardent fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi

Industry talk: Pawan Kalyan’s stand was right, need to speak up!

0

The ongoing ticket prices issue has not seen any resolution and is being dragged. Amidst this another chance of another blow from the AP government to the film industry has cropped up. Balakrishna, earlier today called for a press meet and warned the YSRCP government that any unparliamentary language against women would not be tolerated. He further stated that the consequences will be unfavourable to the government next time around.

On one hand, when the industry is already suffering from the tickets issue, products, distributors, and exhibitors are concerned if this would have a negative impact on the upcoming films. The trade circles despite their dissent have been silent for months on the entire pricing fiasco fearing a backlash from the government.

However, there’s another belief that’s cropping up amongst the trade circles after Balayya’s attack. The industry insiders believe that it is time they stand for what is right and make their displeasure known.

Pawan Kalyan was the first person from the industry to have come ahead tearing the YSRCP government’s ticket policy into shreds. He openly stated during Republic pre-release event that the government has no right to interfere in pricing. However, this statement of Pawan found no support back them and the producers guild even issued a statement distancing themselves from his opinions. Even Powerstar’s own family didn’t support him back them fearing a backlash.

However, now things are changing. While the government has slightly eased its stance on the tickets, there are high chances of them tightening their noose after Balayya’s media statements. The trade circles are also of the opinion that a united stance on the matter is the only way and voicing dissent and standing up for their opinions is the only solution. Mere sycophancy towards the government would not benefit them in long run.

Balakrishna press meet: YSRCP to repeat revenge politics?

0

Balakrishna’s press meet a while ago has come in as a shot in the arm for TDP . The statements have provide a major boost for the party cadre. Balayya directly warned the YSRCP and advised them to refrain from such unparliamentary statements for their own good.

The makers of Balakrishna’s Akhanda have been fearing that Balakrishna’s press meet would again give rise to revenge politics. Now, this fear has spread to the other filmmakers as well.

Early last year, the YSRCP government had released G.O on ticket prices in retaliation to Pawan Kalyan. The ticket prices issue that started with Vakeel Saab has been stretched too far. The cine industry held multiple meetings with AP government to resolve it.

Recently minister Perni Nani had indicated at relaxations on the issue and stated that further deliberations would be held on the issue. Now with Balakrishna’s open warning, there is a chance that YSRCP might again target not just his release but all the upcoming ones as well.
