Akhanda Now Boyapati highest grosser in USA crossing #Sarrainodu

Akhanda has became the highest grosser in USA for Boyapati Srinu. The movie kept getting bigger with every day passing by. Not just audience from Andhra or Telangana, NRIs have also showered love on this movie. This made it the highest grosser. Boyapati’s earlier highest was Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu.

On Wednesday the movie grossed $15,370 making it a total of $882,691. The movies run at box office and collections came as a shock for the traders. Everyone expected the movie to be good but the reception it got at box office is something more than that. People started flocking to theaters and the Akhanda role got huge appreciation all over.

Even in the US, we can see so many people going to theaters and enjoying the movie like a festival. Apart from the US, in other countries too, the movie did quite well. It got accolades from Bollywood audience too and the request to remake this movie in Hindi has been pouring in on Twitter

The movie had a success meet with fans yesterday in Vishakapatnam.

Akhanda has Balakrishna in dual role and directed by Boyapati Srinu. Thaman was the music director of this movie. Pragya Jaiswal is the main female lead, Srikanth and Poorna played important characters in the movie.

Pushpaka Vimanam streaming now on OTT platform

It’s Friday and we are going to see some interesting movies getting released on OTT platforms. Earlier, people used to wait for the theatrical release of movies but now times have changed. OTT platforms are also releasing movies on Friday so that people can watch it on weekends. Now, as we said earlier Pushpaka Vimanam has been premiered digitally on Aha from today. The movie doesn’t have a great run at box office. Now after one month of its release the movie is out on Aha.

Pushpaka Vimanam is a comedy movie starring Anand Devarakonda, Geet Saini and Saanvi Meghana. It revolves around a school teacher played by Anand Devarakonda who is in search of his eloped wife. Vijay Devarakonda is the co-producer of this movie and did some aggressive promotions. In one of the interviews he said that the movie although is simple deals with some important concepts such as societal pressure, arrange marriages, moral policing. How these effects will be on the newly-weds is something that we will see in the movie.

Despite his efforts, the movie didn’t fair as expected at the box office. Director Damodara made his debut with this movie. You can watch the movie here

Dakshayani behind Pushpa’s Rise

It’s the final few weeks of 2021, and we have probably the biggest releases of the year upcoming. On the very top of the list is Pan-Indian film Pushpa starring Icon star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna directed by the maverick Sukumar. The trailer which was released in all 5 languages took the internet by storm. Now we hear that Dakshayani is behind Pushpa’s Rise.

In the trailer, there is one bold shot of Anasuya (Dakshayani) sitting on top of a person who appears to be her husband Sunil and many people might not have noticed that she has a blade in her mouth. Pushpa The Rise is based on the conflict between Sunil and Pushpa. How Pushpa utilises Anasuya to become Don of the area is said to be shown in a very interesting way with Sukku’s directorial touch.

The unit recently completed the shoot of a sizzling item number starring the top tier actress Samantha with the lyrical video coming out today. With the film slated for release on December 17th, Pushpa The Rise, has been censored today with U/A rating and a run time of 2 hours 56 minutes.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata release date pushed again ?

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata was one of the films that was hit hard by Covid multiple times. In 2020, the unit had to cancel their shoot in USA and move to Dubai due to high number of cases in USA. The film’s original plan was to release in August but that didn’t happen, thanks to Covid. Now we hear that Sarkaru Vaari Paata release date pushed again.

With a wave of postponements in the Telugu Film Industry in early 2021, Mahesh and his team thought Sankranthi, 2022 as an ideal choice and infact announced the film for Sankranthi, 2022 release way back in January of 2021.

Later, second wave of Covid hit India and delayed the shoot of SVP further. Other films that started their shoot earlier than Sarkaru Vaari Paata started announcing their release dates for Sankranthi, 2022.

Powerstar’s Bheemla Nayak announced its date and then Prabhas Radhe Shyam joined the race. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR suddenly announced the date as January 7th, 2022. With as many as 4 big films planning for Sankranthi, 2022 everyone was confident that at least 1 or 2 films will postpone.

Team SVP made another official announcement moving the release date to April 1st, 2022. With major part of its shoot still left, this was a wise decision. Now, there is a rumour spreading that SVP is postponed again to May, 2022 to accommodate F3 which is planning for April 1st release. F3 had announced its date as February 25th. But, it is likely that Bheemla Nayak might come for the 25th leaving Sankranthi to the Pan-Indian films RRR and Radhe Shyam.

Fans of Mahesh Babu are waiting eagerly to see their Superstar on screen for almost two years now. They have to wait a little longer.

JR.NTR and Ram Charan’s RRR trailer which was released on December 9th, 2021 has shattered all records. The trailer was released with great hype surrounding it and it has lived up to people’s expectations.

We witnessed grand structures, mind-blowing visuals, and everything associated with SS Rajamouli. Ram Charan and Jr.NTR were both spectacular in the trailer.

SS Rajamouli has to be lauded for envisioning such a spectacle.

When the trailer is that good, there is no doubt that it will break all records. The RRR trailer has shattered the record for most likes in 24 hours in just 7 hours and 43 minutes.

It has breezed past Vakeel Saab’s record of 1.005 M likes in 24 hours.

JR.NTR was seen as the ferocious Komaram Bheem who takes on a tiger with his bare fists. Maybe that is the scene where the Britishers punish Komaram Bheem for going against the government. We also saw a loyal friend who is willing to die for Alluri Seetha Rama Raju.

Coming to Ram Charan, we saw him don the role of a police officer who secretly works for the British. We can expect some twists in the tale as the trailer shows JR.NTR and Ram Charan battling each other.

Bahubali 2 currently holds the record for the highest number of views in 24 hours, at 21.5 M views. But at the RRR trailer’s current pace, Jr.NTR and Ram Charan are likely to shatter that record as well.

Super Star Mahesh Babu has always been that actor who focuses on content and concept of the movie rather than elevations for his character. Since his debut, this is how he was. Is this going to change in Sarkaru Vaari Paata? Recently his three films were blockbusters with a great run at box office.

Mahesh always prefers a role which elevates hero with the content, sometimes he put asides the heroism for the sake of content which didn’t work for his star stature at box office. But as per our sources, Sarkaru Vaari Paata is quite opposite to Mahesh Babu mindset with scenes and dialogues having no relation to the content for the joy of fans. The unit recently got permission to shoot at Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Simhachalam for one day. In a recent interview Allu Arjun himself revealed this. We all know how Pushpa movie is going to be. The movie comes under a complete mass, raw and rustic genre. Allu Arjun looks in a deglamorized role. The tag stylish star isn’t something that will exactly fit in this sphere.

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Pre-Release event’s date and venue are out. The makers of Pushpa have been going all guns blazing with their promotions.

The makers released the first glimpse of the movie in April 2021 and it was a treat for Allu Arjun fans and movie lovers.

Since then, the makers have been hyping up promotions with back-to-back song releases.

The makers have released 4 songs so far, all of them creating a rage on Youtube. The 5th and final song will feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a sizzling item song of the year.
