Simbu Next Movie With Soorarai Pootru Director

Simbu had been going through a rough patch of movies recently, and desperately needed a comeback. He rose from the ashes again with the 2021 Tamil blockbuster Maanaadu, a slick time loop thriller also starring SJ Suryah. Suresh Productions has also acquired the Telugu remake rights of the film. There is no looking back now for the actor.

Simbu’s next movie is with Soorarai Pootru(Aaakasam Nee Haddura) and Guru director Sudha Kongara. It will be extremely interesting to see how their combination turns out. Sudha Kongara is one of the best directors in the Indian film industry at the moment. Simbu has also worked on himself and his acting recently. The combination of these two will be a treat to watch.

Simbu is currently shooting for Gautam Vasudev Menon’s Vendhu Thanindathu Kadhu, a story of the rise of an oppressed boy played by Simbu. The teaser looks highly promising, it is nothing like what Gautam Menon and Simbu have done previously. Their previous collaboration Vinaithaandi Viruvaiya was a breezy romance.

After the shoot of his film with GVM, Simbu will immediately start shooting for Sudha Kongara’s movie. The film will mostly be a drama, but no official updates or first looks have been given out yet.

Koratala planning to bring this senior hero for NTR30

Apart from a strong social message, one of the strong elements of every Koratala Siva movie is its casting. His movies are backed with a strong support cast that brings a new dimension to the plot. Coming to NTR 30, the director is planning something unexpected here as well.

According to buzz, the ‘Acharya’ director is planning to rope in senior hero Rajasekhar for a powerful role in the movie. These reports are being widely discussed in T-town. If this indeed becomes a reality, it will be another unique casting decision by Koratala.

While it might not matter much to Jr NTR, the decision to rope in Rajasekhar for NTR 30 will indeed be a massive career boost for the senior hero. Rajasekhar has been doing a number of small and medium scale movies but hasn’t had massive success at the box office and NTR 30 might just provide him with that.

Amidst all these delays Koratala has now started on a solid script for NTR 30. He is the only director from the big league without a release since 2018. With so much riding on this film, looks like we are surely in for something big!.

Coming to Jr NTR, he will be undergoing another massive physical transformation for this project. He will be shedding weight for the Koratala Siva film and will be seen in a lean and stylish look for the film. The director has already started pre-production works on the much-awaited project.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, hosted by Anupama Chopra Nagarjuna commented about Allu Arjun’s Pushpa-The Rise. Talking about Indian cinema, the host, Anupama said it is fascinating how a Telugu film, Pushpa was the biggest film of 2021.

In response to this, he said this “It is truly incredible isn’t it?”. Nagarjuna went on to give his reasons as to why Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was so successful in India.

“Pushpa is a very native rural Indian film, the way the people dress, speak and look is like what 90% of India looks” he expressed. “People are tired of seeing urban movies and Pushpa was the perfect rural entertainer. This is what people want to watch. People want to see Allu Arjun beating up the bad guys and they want to watch the goons fly in the air.”

“Pushpa is a pure single theatre film and it has proved it”, he further told Anupama. Naga Chaitanya was also present during the conversation but did not add anything to the conversation.

Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya have kick-started promotions for Bangarraju, with back-back interviews. The above-mentioned interview was also to promote their movie. The film also stars Krithi Shetty and Ramya Krishna in prominent roles.

Rajasekhar’s Shekar To Replace Chiranjeevi’s Acharya

Rajasekhar is one of the most celebrated veteran actors in the industry. He has had an illustrious career spanning over 3 decades. But, he was slowly fading away in the 2000s due to his choices in scripts and life decisions. It was only in the late 2010s that he made a solid comeback into the Telugu film industry.

Rajasekhar’s new movie, titled Shekar is set to replace Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. Acharya which was originally scheduled for a February 4th release is being pushed back as per inside sources.

In 2017, he made his comeback with PSV Garuda Vega. Even though the film didn’t collect a lot at the box office, it received overwhelmingly positive reviews from the Telugu audiences. Then in 2019, he impressed with Kalki, showing that he had improved on his script selection.

Now, the first glimpse of Shekar looks exciting as well. It shows the veteran actor in a rugged and raw look that we’ve never seen before. The white beard and grey hair paired with the classy Royal Enfield bike really suits Rajasekhar to perfection.

According to reports, Rajasekhar’s Shekar will release on February 4th,2022, in place of Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. Shekar also stars Abhinav Gomattam, Sameer, and Ravi Varma in prominent roles. Lalith is the director of the movie, and Anup Rubens is the music director of the film.
