It is very less often that we see political leaders talking about films and their current running status. But thanks to the ongoing war between Pawan Kalyan and the Government of Andhra Pradesh, we are able to witness some of the reviews by some Ministers and political leaders of YSR congress Party and Telugu Desam Party also sharing their views about Pawan Kalyan’s recent film, Bheemla Nayak.

The Political war between YSR Congress Party and Janasena Party has been a long one. Pawan Kalyan repeatedly rocked YSR Congress Party in any event he attended be it even any Film event. His speech in Sai Dharam Tej starrer Republic’s Pre release event has completely gone wrong with the ruling YSR Congress Party. Since then all is not well between Pawan Kalyan and YSR Congress Party.

Pawan Kalyan repeatedly targeting YSRCP is seen as direct war by the people between both parties. Naturally TDP has come in rescue of Pawan Kalyan during his film’s release. Recently brought G.O. regarding the ticket prices has made things even worse between both the parties.

Pawan Kalyan’s recent film Bheemla Nayak got released and since then both the leaders of YSR Congress Party and Telugu Desam Party have started sharing their reviews about the film surprisingly. TDP’s leaders are coming in rescue of Pawan Kalyan and are delivering rave reviews about the film as power packed film and a historic hit. YSRCP leaders have started criticizing the film naturally due to the ongoing war.

Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party’s allied party BJP’s leaders come in rescue of him often during his film’s release. This had even happened with Vakeel Saab. But TDP coming in rescue of him is something different. TDP’s leader Nara Lokesh has gone one step ahead and said that he likes Pawan Kalyan’s films more than his own kin Jr. NTR’s films. On the other hand, Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Vellampalli Srinivas openly criticized the film as a flop.

Rowdy Boys OTT platform and release date is out now

Rowdy boys is one of the notable films that released in Sankranthi. Rowdy boys is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish through Sri Venkateswara Creations. Dil Raju’s nephew and Sirish’s son Asish introduced as hero and Anupama Parameswaran is the leading lady of the film. This new age youthful entertainer is gearing up for OTT release. 

Rowdy Boys got enough craze through the trailer and attracted youth before the release date. The film is opened with not so great mouth talk. Many of them termed it as “OTT product”. So audience are waiting for this film’s OTT release to give it a try. It’s all set to air on Zee5 next Friday i.e. on 11th March.

Rowdy boys is a romantic college drama that runs in the backdrop of gang wars between engineering college and medical college. Asish and Anupama got good feedback for their performances. DSP’s music is the main asset of this film. Most of the reviewers mentioned that DSP’s medley compositions are the big help for this movie. Let’s see how this product from Husharu’s director Sree Harsha Konuganti is received by audience next Friday on Zee5.

Bheemla Nayak’s Hindi version gets release date !

Bheemla Nayak, the official Telugu remake of Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum realeased on 25 February, 2022. The film stars Tollywood’s star hero Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles. The film is running in the theatres with already having collected a weekend share of 66 crores worldwide.

Now Bheemla Nayak’s Hindi dubbed version gets a release date as announced by the Makers. It is about to release on March 4th, a week after it’s Telugu version’s release. However Ayyappanum Koshiyum was still not dubbed in Hindi but it’s Telugu remake’s Hindi version is ready for release. As the poster suggests, B4U movies bought the right of Bheemla Nayak’s Hindi dubbed version.

The original Malayalam film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum’s Hindi remake is actually under cards. John Abraham will be playing the role of Biju Menon whereas Arjun Kapoor plays the role of Pruthviraj Sukumaran. The director of Mission Mangal, Jagan Shakti will be the director of this project.

It is very fascinating to see that the makers of Bheemla Nayak airing their Hindi version. This recently too had happened with Ala Vaikuntapurramulo’s Hindi version. It’s airing on a Hindi TV Channel came as a surprise as it’s official Hindi remake Shehzada starring Karthik Aryan is currently under filming stage. This is clearly showing the interest of some of the Hindi YouTube and TV channels not wanting to miss out on the opportunity of bringing at least one version first even before the remake version coming out in the theatres. So let’s see how Bheemla Nayak appeals to them.

The Hindi dubbing rights of the film were sold for 37 crore to Goldmines Telefilms, well before the announcement of theatrical release. The latest info is that Star Network and @DisneyPlusHS signed All India digital and satellite rights for massive price. Inside info is that the price will be close to 100cr which is humongous if it is true.

Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahad Faasil. These names are enough for any film lover to watch this film any number of times if they are bounded by a perfect script. So the talented director succeeded in bringing the powerhouse of talent together and now it is his game to play it his way. The teaser really teased the audience as it show cased our very well known Kamal Haasan in a powerful role. When Anirudh ravichandran joined the party, it definitely sounds beautiful and loud. The release of Bheemla Nayak has charged both the ruling and opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh. The YCP unit on one hand is busy declaring the movie as a flop and is continuing its own propaganda. On the other hand, this Pawan Kalyan and Rana starrer has got complete support from the TDP side. On the day of its release, the film received great support from TDP President Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh.

The father-son duo tweeted in support of the film and Pawan Kalyan. They lashed out at Jaganmohan Reddy for his ticket pricing policies that were causing major damage to the industry.

Now Lokesh has once again spoken in support of the film and has made a rather controversial statement as well. A journalist asked him the reason behind the support for Pawan Kalyan’s film and why he never made such statements for an NTR film. Lokesh was also asked if there was any political jealousy behind his lack of appreciation for NTR movies.

“I appreciate only the movies that I like. If I don’t like something, I won’t tweet about it to avoid any controversy. This is why I spoke about Bheemla Nayak,” said the MLC. This has made people speculate if the former IT Minister is indirectly expressing his dislike for many recent Jr NTR films.

Exhibitors are looking for other business due to AP Government

The prevailing situation in AP is causing great troubles to the entire trade circle. Films like Bheemla Nayak and Pushpa had great business in the other markets are suffering losses only in AP. The ticket pricing policies of AP Government are impacting the distributors and exhibitors to a great extent.

Speaking on the issue, former Film Chamber president NV Prasad said that the situation in the state has caused exhibitors to look for other businesses.

“This is not an attack on just Pawan Kalyan, this is an attack on the entire movie business. The AP Government is sending their officials for raids on the theatres causing great trouble to the exhibitors. The exhibitors are now looking for other means of survival and are leaving the theatre businesses,” he said.

NV Prasad had earlier lashed out at YCP MLA Prasanna Kumar Reddy for making ‘irresponsible’ statements on the film industry.

“The success rate in the film industry is 2-5%. Film producers spend crores of rupees to make films and more often than not, they suffer huge losses. There are a few producers who have lost everything and are taking a pension amount of Rs 3000 per month from the Producers’ council. That is how dire the situation can be. It is not right to speak ill of the film industry and its people,” he said.

In India, cinema is not just an entertainment, it itself is life for many. That Indian cinema is struggled because of Covid-19. Now everything looks set as last weekend a big film from 3 major industries released. Bheemla Nayak from Tollywood , Valimai from Kollywood , Gangubai Kathiawadi from Bollywood hit the screens. All three films opened with superb talk and had a blockbuster weekend at box office. All the film fraternity, Distributors, Theatre owners, cinema fanatics are waiting for this day for a long time.

Obviously this might sound very strange to anyone. Imagining the star power of Pawan Kalyan one would expect the film to completely rock the theatres. But there are many things that lie within.

Bheemla Nayak, the official remake of Malayalam film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum starring Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati released amidst much fanfare, started to post great numbers on it’s opening day. The ticket prices being less in Andhra Pradesh when compared to Telangana had shown a slight effect in overall Andhra collections but It stood on par with recent Blockbuster Pushpa. The film opened up with positive response all over from the premiere shows itself.

The film has continued the momentum on Day 2 and Day 3 posting around 66 crores of share worldwide on its first weekend. But the real struggle starts from Monday’s noon shows which started on below par in Andhra Pradesh and disastrous in Telangana. The breakeven of the film is at 107 crores. The film needs to use the festival day Maha Shivarathri and the coming weekend to the fullest to sustain at the Box Office.

Yes, you heard it right. Tollywood’s Young Hero Nithiin has achieved a huge record but on YouTube. And he has also become the first South Indian Hero to achieve this big feat. His films released across various channels have garnered 2.3+ Billion Views on YouTube. Of late, YouTube has unofficially become an OTT for most of the Non-Telugu viewers across the country. Getting bored, people started watching every film that is uploaded across many YouTube Hindi channels. Many OTTs charging monthly or yearly wise are a burden for these people which is making them watching the movies that release across many channels for free.

He even started doing the remake of Chatrapathi in Hindi under the direction of V.V. Vinayak. On the work front, Nithiin is currently doing Macherla Niyojakavargam directed by a debutant M.S. Raja Shekhar Reddy under his home banner Sreshth Movies.
