Trivikram wants to repeat Bheemla Nayak feat with Mahesh Babu

The brand Trivikram needs no introduction in Tollywood. The ace writer/director has given countless gems to Tollywood in the last couple of decades. Many of his films have gone on to achieve cult status and possess immense repeat value even among the family audience.

In a career spanning more than two decades, one could say that the ace director has only two disasters. One is Agnayaathavasi with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and the others is Khaleja with Superstar Mahesh Babu. While Khaleja has achieved a great following over the years, commercially it failed miserably at the box office. Agnayaathavasi was an out-and-out disaster and brought Trivikram his worst failure of life.

The director, however, took a lesson from this rare failure and redeemed himself with the recent Tollywood success Bheemla Nayak. Bheemla Nayak has brought a smile back to the faces of the fans of the Trivikram-Pawan combo. The dialogues and screenplay of the film were indeed top-notch and the aced writer indeed announced his comeback in style.

Now fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu are expecting a similar redemption from the director who will be helming SSMB28. Trivikram is also quite confident this time around and is keen to repeat the success of Bheemla Nayak.

The makers of the film, Haarika and Haasine Creations made an official announcement on this last year much to the excitement of the movie lovers. Pooja Hegde will play the lead in SSMB28 and is aiming for a Sankranti 2023 release.

Another good news for pan India movies like Radhe Shyam and RRR

Looks like the glory days of Tollywood have returned. March is going to witness two of the biggest pan-India release from Tollywood -Radhe Shyam and RRR. These movies are sure to set a box office rampage and create new milestones in the collection. The positive buzz around these movies and heightened anticipation is a sign of a massive box-office storm.

Film industries across India have struggled over the last couple of years due to continuous theatre closures and occupancy restrictions. Even now there are restrictions in occupancy in many theatres due to COVID 3rd wave. Telangana had lifted these restrictions a while ago and so did AP and other southern states. Now in great news for Radhe Shyam and RRR, even the Kerala government decided to do away with the restrictions.

Radhe Shyam is set to release on 11th March while RRR will release on 25th March. This is the perfect release time for these biggies. Even the AP government is releasing the new G.O soon which will aid these pan-India biggies greatly. The last couple of years have been quite testing for the filmmakers. First, it was the shooting delays and later release date delays that brought greater gloom to all.

Sharwanand and Rashmika Mandanna’s Aadavallu Meku Joharlu had a grand pre release event yesterday at Shilpakala Vedhika. Earlier the team planned to have a trailer release event but when the release date got postponed from 25th Feb to 4th March, they went on with pre release event. Keerthy Suresh and Sai Pallavi were the chief guests as per the plan but unexpectedly Director Sukumar joined the list and made the event much more grandeur. In his speech he said Sai Pallavi is the lady Pawan kalyan. Let’s go into the details.

When Sukumar was about to speak about Sai Pallavi, a huge roar had been heard in the auditorium. The roar continued for few minutes for which Sukumar had to ask the audience to stop for a while. Meanwhile Sai Pallavi went near to Sukumar and said “Tell to me what you want to say about me” in a lighter mood. Then Sukumar shared this with the crowd saying Sai Pallavi is the lady Pawan Kalyan. He went on saying that he like her so much as an actor and much more as a human being. Sukumar mentioned that he liked her even more after he heard that Sai Pallavi refused to act in a particular advertisement.

Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu trailer is disappointing

Sharwanand and Rashmika starrer Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu is all set to release on 4th March. The pre-release event of the film saw the trailer release of the film. The trailer follows Sharwanand and his attempts to get married which is always thwarted by the women of his house.

The movie is a romantic comedy with Sharwanand finally meeting Rashmika Mandanna whom he tries to woo. Rashmika along with her mother (Khushboo) have a totally different outlook of marriage. This leaves Sharwanand and his large family quite discontent.

The plot of the movie looks quite outdated and the trailer is quite disappointing. It has failed to evoke any interest in the film. Sharwanand is in desperate need of a hit at the moment. His last couple of films Mahasamudram and Sreekaram failed at the box office.

Kishore Tirumala is directing this project while Sudhakar Cherkuri has produced it. Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu also stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Urvashi, and Kushboo among others. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the tunes for this film. He is working with Kishore Tirumala yet again after Chitralahari, Nenu Sailaja and Vunnadhi Okkate Zindagi.

While the promotional content of the film including the trailer has failed to evoke any interest, let’s see how the film performs at the box office.

Despite all the covid postponements, political issues, Bheemla Nayak released on 25th February with high expectations. The film opened with good reviews and it is having a great weekend at the box office. Power star’s image, Rana’s screen presence, Trivikram’s dialogues, Thaman’s bgm are being applauded. Nitya Menon and Samyukta Menon too got good response for their performances. With all the blockbuster buzz around the corner, the success party is inevitable.

The movie unit celebrated the success by having a private party last night. Power star Pawan kalyan , Trivikram , Samyukta Menon, Sagar Chandra and all other cast and crew attended the party and shared their happiness. Few shared the pics from the party last night in twitter.

Thaman shared a pic with Pawan kalyan in which power star is in a lighter mood with great energy. Fans are delighted to see power star in happy mood. Some of the fans even went back to their Gabbar Singh days. Let’s hope the film unit will have a big success event for fans as well.

Pawan Kalyan starrer Bheemla Nayak has got off to a resounding start and is registering great numbers worldwide. All the locations are expected to do well except for Andhra Pradesh. And that is because of the ticket prices restrictions by the AP government. A new G.O on fresh prices is yet to be passed causing great losses to this Pawan Kalyan film.

In order to ensure that the film’s distributors do not suffer great losses due to the AP government’s ticket policies, PK and the makers have taken a novel decision.

The makers will return 20% of the amount for losses due to ticket restrictions in AP. The makers have informed all the AP distributors. Pawan Kalyan will be returning 10% from his remuneration while Sithara Entertainments are giving 10%. This is a great move from the makers and the Powerstar in the current circumstances and is applause-worthy

The AP ticket pricing policies are causing great agony to the film industry. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa also suffered a similar fate in AP. The movie was a great success across India in other languages but suffered a loss in AP. A new G.O on the ticket prices should have been out as per the recommendations of the ticket pricing committee. But, the government is playing delay tactics.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s first single Kaalavathi is a smash hit. The song right on its release day set many records and won the hearts of music lovers. Now, the song has set another milestone.

Sarakaru Vaari Paata’s Kalaavathi has become the fastest TFI single to achieve the 50 million mark. This soulful romantic number has achieved the mark in just 13 days. The previous record was in Bheemla Nayak’s title song’s name. The song featuring Pawan Kalyan achieved this 50 million mark in 43 days.

The melodious romantic number with soothing visuals received great applause and rave reviews right on the day of its release. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s stylish looks and Sid Sriram’s voice were the biggest plus points of the song.

Kalaavathi’s visuals and Mahesh’s dance steps have bowled over the netizens with everyone applauding Thaman for this soulful number. The song has gone viral on social media leading to many Instagram reels and YouTube covers.

Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak has engulfed the Telugu states in its mania. The movie released amidst huge celebrations on Friday and went on to establish many records. Bheemla Nayak also achieved tremendous numbers at the box office on Saturday.

Meanwhile, actor/producer Naga Babu has made a rather controversial statement on Tollywood’s lack of support for his brother. Naga Babu said that the government has already made the situation quite tough for the industry to thrive. The situation has in particular become a personal ego battle with govt. deploying police at theatres and even conducting raids through MROs and VROs.

No star heros, director or producer has supported Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak in this matter. Nobody has even questioned the government on their unjust policies and behaviour questioned Naga Babu.

Superstar Mahesh Babu watched the film on Saturday and appreciated and extended support to the film. “Bheemla Nayak is riveting, intense, and electrifying. Pawan Kalyan is in blazing form. What a performance! Rana is sensational as Daniel Sekhar, what a screen presence,” he commented.

Bheemla Nayak got off to a blazing start worldwide. This PK-Rana multistarrer collected a share of 35.8Crs on Day one. By achieving this, the film recovered 33% of its theatrical business. On day 2 the movie managed to collect a share of 16. 5 crs and thus taking the total worldwide 2 days share close to Rs 52 crs.
