RRR Creates All-Time South Indian Record With Just Pre-Sales

RRR is undeniably and undoubtedly the most anticipated Indian movie in a long time. But the path to release has not been easy at all. The film has gone through many hurdles in terms of multiple release date delays and postponements due to the COVID-19 delays.

But all is not grim, the film is heading swiftly towards a March 25th release and there is a lot of positive buzz around the movie. In terrific news for the South Indian Film Industry, the RRR advance bookings have opened in the United Kingdom to mind-blowing numbers.

The film has crossed £130K in collections already with 3 weeks left for release. This is a feat that has not been achieved by any other South Indian film, thereby setting a record. It looks like RRR will open to sensational numbers at the box office and break all pre-existing records.

RRR stars Ram Charan, Jr.NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in prominent roles. SS Rajamouli, who is the main factor for these bookings is the director of the magnum opus. DVV Danayya has produced the film. M.M Keeravani is the music director of the movie.

Super Star at Heart, Mahesh takes another step to save children

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s philanthropic work and more particularly towards the treatment of children with heart ailments needs no introduction. Over the last several years, Mahesh has saved a number of lives of kids suffering from chronic heart ailments by providing the best medical care and facilities.

Now, he has decided to take this mission one step ahead. The Superstar earlier today launched ‘Pure Little Hearts’ foundation at the Rainbow Children’s Hospital in Hyderabad.

This foundation will provide treatment to 125 kids in the first phase. The foundation will slowly scale up its operations and help out many more children suffering from chronic heart diseases.

Speaking at the event, Mahesh said, “I am quite emotional about children and that is a topic quite close to my heart. Mahesh Babu foundation will be tying up with Pure Little Hearts foundation. Through this, we will provide help to 125 children suffering from critical heart diseases.”

In the past, Mahesh Babu along with Andhra Hospitals provided surgeries to hundreds of children belonging to economically weaker sections. And through this tie-up with Rainbow Hospital, the Mahesh Babu foundation is going to touch many more lives.

Radhe Shyam and RRR to have India wide paid premieres like Baahubali 2

The makers of Tollywood’s much-awaited Pan India biggies are coming up with great news for the fans. Both Radhe Shyam and RRR will have paid premieres just like Baahubali 2. This is a terrific development and has filled the fans with excitement and will also provide the films with a great boost at the box office.

Radhe Shyam which will release worldwide on 11th March will have its premiere on 10th March. Prabhas is playing the role of Vikramaditya- a palmist and the the teasers and trailers have filled the fans with great curiosity. Pooja Hegde is paired opposite Prabhas and she is playing a medico named Prerna in the film. Radhe Krishna has directed this film bankrolled by UV Creations. This Prabhas starrer is a period romantic drama set in Europe and features stunning visuals and has created a massive buzz in the market.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is another film that will have paid premieres just like his earlier film Baahubali 2. The period action drama stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan along with Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, and Shriya Saran among others. RRR premieres are slated to take place on 24th March. RRR is undoubtedly the most awaited pan-India biggie and the trailer and other promotional content have heightened the buzz to another level.

Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu has a disastrous opening at the box office

Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu released earlier this week. The makers have stated that the film is a fun entertainer that one can enjoy with entire family. The movie is quite a crucial one for Sharwanand and he has pinned a lot of hopes on it. He is desperately in need of a hit after the failures of his last two films- Sreekaram and Maha Samudram.

The movie’s day one. performance has been quite a disappointing sight for the makers. The theatrical rights were sold at Rs 20Cr and Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu has not even collected 15% on its opening day. This family entertainer opened to below par reviews and has failed to generate any buzz or attract the audience to theatres.

The film is likely to end up as a heavy loss venture for all the buyers involved. Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu has a huge supporting cast of terrific actors such as Urvashi, Radhika, Khushboo along with Rashmika Mandanna in lead. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the tunes for the film and the music also failed to create any buzz.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s latest outing Khiladi is ready to stream on OTT.  Raviteja, Dimple Hayati and Meenakshi Chaudhary are the leading cast of Khiladi. Ramesh varma who made a decent flick Rakshasudu joined hands with Raviteja for the second time.

The duo worked together for the first time for Veera in 2011. Veera failed miserably but Raviteja gave him a second chance with Khiladi. Khiladi is released in theatres on 11th February and didn’t fare well at box office. Ramesh varma and Raviteja’s combo failed once again. Audience skipped the film in theatres and are waiting for OTT release. Disney + Hotstar bought the OTT rights of Khiladi and are agreed to stream after 4 weeks of theatrical release.

Mass entertainer Khiladi featuring Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Sachin Kedekar, Vennela Kishore and Anasuya along with the lead cast will premier on Disney+ Hotstar from 11th March. Rockstar DSP composed music for Khiladi but failed to show his mark. As we all love to watch cinema irrespective of the result, let’s watch Khiladi from coming Friday in Disney+Hotstar.

Radhe Shyam on track for record premiers at box office

Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam is all geared up to set the box office on fire and the premieres’ advance bookings are proof of the same. No other film apart from the Baahubali series and Tuesday offer release has managed to collect $1 million. But Radhe Shyam looks like it would finally hit the much elusive target.

Radhe Shyam will have premieres on March 10th and the advance bookings are just terrific. The film has already collected close to $250K in advance premiers and is releasing in record locations. With such a terrific buzz for the premieres, it surely looks like Radhe Shyam will hit the $1 million mark effortlessly.

Prabhas along with Pooja Hegde and director Radha Krishna is busy in pan-India promotions. The trio attended a pre-release meet this Wednesday in Mumbai and attended another pre-release meet for Tamil media in Chennai. In addition to this, the unit launched a ‘Metaverse’ this week which has received a great response from all.

The period romantic drama is set to release on March 11th and will feature Prabhas as a palmist and Pooja Hegde as a medico. Radha Krishna has directed this film bankrolled by UV Creations. The film also stars Bhagyashree and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.

DSP’s BGM is a big let down for Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu

Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu released today and received mixed talk among audience. Some liked the comedy and few liked the content but one word came in common from everyone. That is about the music. Most of the people said that DSP’s music is the biggest let down for the film.

The songs that are released before also didn’t impress the audience. Not even a single song became a chart buster from the entire album. DSP is known for his catchy songs that will become an instant hits but that didn’t happen with Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu.

DSP is the sensational music director in tollywood. He has an image that he will do 100% justice to every movie irrespective of the content. In the case of tire 2 hero movies or small budget movies, DSP used to be the hero and he pulled many movies alone himself with his music.

Few films bacame blockbusters with the help of DSP’s music. But in recent times rockstar has lost his limelight. He has been receiving lot of criticism for his songs as well as background score. Let’s hope our rockstar will bounce back and give us lot of loveable songs in the coming films.

After Bahubali Prabhas moved to other league in which no other hero is present now. For his stardom he got a lot of big projects. He can call off his previous commitments and can move to the big projects at once. But our darling is a different human all together. He is committed to his words and completed movies for his friend’s banner UV Creations. With the stardom the projects reach has gone too far. So the budgets of the films are huge in order to match the stardom of Prabhas.

In the latest interview, Prabhas shared that he took the least remuneration for Saaho and Radhe Shyam as they already are huge projects and he did not want to add more burden to the producers. He once again proved what gem of a person he is.

One wonders why Pawan Kalyan is choosing to play safe with remake films from other languages when he enjoys huge stardom. Pawan Kalyan has come up with two back to back films recently with Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak. Both being remakes of Pink and Ayyappanum Koshiyum. It appears that he has again chosen to remake another Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham. This is a disappointing news considering his stardom. All eyes are on Trivikram who is suspected as the reason behind Pawan Kalyan’s remakes films.

When Pawan Kalyan agreed for Ayyappanum Koshiyum’s remake, all wondered why. The roles in this film were not that suit to his star image. As expected, the entire angle of the film got changed towards Pawan Kalyan’s side making Rana helpless. His role was completely changed as savior and a People’s man. All suspected Trivikram as the reason for these changeovers. The involvement of Trivikram in a remake itself was a big surprise for all. No one knows who’s behind his involvement.

The failure of Agnyaathavaasi might also be a reason for Trivikram’s help for Pawan Kalyan in this film. Pawan Kalyan’s political aspirations also added up to be one of the reasons for Trivikram’s involvement. But this didn’t go well with his fans who are suspecting Trivikram to be the reason behind his safe games. They are expecting him to star in straight films. It would be better if Trivikram clarifies on this issue and make himself uninvovled in such remakes.

DJ Tillu released in theatres on February 12, 2022 opened with positive word of mouth. Siddhu Jonnalagadda has received good reviews for his performance.
