Salman Khan joining the sets of God father today !

Megastar Chiranjeevi is presently doing the remake of Mohanlal starrer malayalam film Lucifer titled Godfather. This film is directed by Mohan Raja. Shooting is also going at a brisk pace. This will be Chiranjeevi’s film after Acharya which is about to release this year in April. Nayanthara and Young tollywood actor Satya dev are playing crucial roles in this film. Now Salman Khan is also about to play an important role in the God father.

Both Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi share a very good relation. Even Chiranjeevi has the same with Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. This relation has even made him do a cameo role in Sye raa Narasimhaa Reddy. Chiranjeevi must be repeating the same with Salman Khan now. He has accepted the request of Chiranjeevi to act in a special role. Salman Khan also shares a good rapport with his son Ram Charan. Ram Charan even came forward and had lent his voice for the telugu dubbed version of Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Salman Khan is joining the sets of God father today. The shooting is happening at at ND Studios in Karjat near Mumbai. It’s going to be a week schedule. Well this is good news for too bigger stars.

Kamal Haasan’s Vikram release date announcement poster released

All the big movies started releasing after covid. Tollywood already started releasing their big films and even Kollywood and Bollywood released one of their big films and started well at box office. So everyone is making their way out. In Kollywood, Ajith’s valimai released and fared well at box office. Now Kamal Haasan is ready to come out with much hyped Vikram. The director Lokesh Kanagaraj took out to Twitter and released a poster mentioning the announcement of release.

The talented director posted a poster in different languages. The released date of Vikram will be announced on 14th March, 2022 at 7 AM. The poster is interesting and continuing the theme of the well received teaser. The poster has a background with lines stating “once upon a time there lived a Ghost”.  

The Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi posters are having the title “Vikram Hitlist”. So we have to wait two days to know the release date of the talented cast and crew’s Vikram.

No changes in Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata release plans !

Mahesh babu’s next starrer Sarkaru vaari paata alongside Keerthy suresh release date has been planned on 12 May by the makers. But there are lot of rumours surrounding the postponement of the release date. The film which was postponed many times might get effected if the same happens. But it looks there are no changes in Sarkaru Vaari Paata release plans.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a mass action entertainer directed by P. Parasuram. Mahesh Babu has done this kind of genre after a longtime. Expectations are high. The film’s shoot is also going on a brisk pace. The film is being current shot at Hyderabad. Earlier the film had it’s shoot at Vizag. Recently released Kalavathi song of the film too registered well with audience. The song even crossed 75 Million views recently. Another song is also about to release soon.

There are lot of rumours regarding the postponement of the film to May end or June. But according to the makers there is no change in the release plan and the film is coming on May 12 for sure. The makers are planning to release the second single of the film in the next week. Let’s wait for it.

Telangana government has given permanent permission for theatre owners

Telangana government has given a permanent permission for theatre owners for 5 shows changing B-form licence conditions. There is not need for any approvals for shows between morning 8 AM – 1 AM Midnight. It is up to the theatres to use this however they see fit. This will be a relief for all the big budgeted films in Tollywood.

Andhra Pradesh government on Monday too approved a new G.O. on permitting new shows and ticket price hikes. Makers of Radhe Shyam and RRR waited for long and even postponed their film’s release for this ticket price hike. Along with this Telangana government released a G.O. permitting 5 shows but not during 1AM. Earlier G.O. was released to screen the film only during the day times. But they have agreed even for this show it seems.

Now naturally all the makers expect such an approval from AP Government. Recently the government even allowed a revised ticket price hike with additional rs 25/- for the big budgeted films. They might even meet the AP CM and cinematography minister for sure. There are many Pan-Indian films in the line after RRR. RRR is about to release on March 25. This will be a big relief for it.

RRR pre sales cross Million Mark at US Box Office !

RRR starring NTR and Ram Charan directed by Rajamouli is riding very high on expectations. The film’s teaser and trailer have generated great hype. Two of the top heroes of Tollywood are being the lead actors of the film. The film is also the next film of Rajamouli after Bahubali. This has even raised the expectations and hype. So much so that RRR’s pre sales cross a million mark at US box-office already which is very huge. The entire cast of the film is very confident about this film. The film is given a Pan-Indian appeal with Ajay devgan and Alia bhatt doing important roles in the film.

With the extraordinary advance bookings RRR pre sales in US have crossed a million mark and the trade is expecting $3M and $5M premieres on opening day. In telugu advance bookings are sensational and other languages bookings need to pick the momentum to put the record number crossing Bahubali 2.

However the existing ticket prices in AP might a become a hurdle for RRR to set huge records just like Bahubali. Makers have even started lobbying with the AP government to increase the ticket hike prices to RS.300/- They have already started to lobby with AP government for the same. With this price it looks safe for the makers of RRR.

Samantha used to be one of the top heroines of Tollywood along with Kajal and Tamannaah for many years. However after witnessing star status she chose to marry Young hero of Tollywood, Naga Chaitanya, son of star Actor Nagarjuna. These two did a film, Majili together even after getting married. But all of a sudden they announced their separation through divorce which shocked everyone. After the divorce Samantha started to have freedom of her own. She is now desperately trying to look hot for film chances.

Samantha recently did an item song in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa. The song is Oo antava Mava.. uu uu antava mava… which was a rage among youth and mass. The song became popular throughout the country. Many started doing short videos of this song. This has brought some momentum to Samantha who is waiting for a break. She recently appeared in any event where she is seen ultra hot in a deep Neck Gown. She looked beautiful too.

This proves that she wants to continue the craze she got with the item song. She is directly approaching the directors, producers, heroes and asking for a chance in their films. Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde released today in all Indian languages. The film has managed to get a mixed talk. However there are many scenes which were trimmed in the film. These scenes are even visible in the trailers of the film. No one knows what happened to these scenes. What’s surprising is who was behind these scenes removal. Many now feel these trimmed scenes might have effected the soul and emotions in Radhe Shyam.

Radhe Shyam overall had a run time of 2 hr and 17 mins. This is considered very less for a star hero. The film was expected to atleast be above 2 hr and 30 mins. But the removal of more than 15-30 mins of the film is not so encouraging for a big budget film. Makers have removed lot of footage to make the film crisp even before the release. Generally any makers would trim the scenes after getting the feedback from the early reports. But Radhe Shyam makers chose to trim off these scenes even before the release. Here are some of the following trimmed scenes.

Makers might have felt that long runtime might effect the film. But there are some scenes in the film which have a connection with these trimmed scenes. Above trimmed scenes are some of them. If added, these might have registered well too. But leaving them away was not a good choice. It’s better if they add these important scenes and trim other unnecessary scenes.

RRR makers started discussions with AP Government for ticket price hike !

Andhra Pradesh government on Monday approved a new G.O. on permitting new shows and ticket price hikes. Makers of Radhe Shyam waited for long and even postponed their film’s release for this ticket price hike.  But the hike that has been promised was not granted by the government officially through a G.O. The film’s bookings too didn’t open in the booking portals till evening for Radhe Shyam. However the government has released a G.O with Rs 25 additional hike with the already revised ticket prices after much dealy. This was not sufficient for RRR it seems. They now started discussions with AP government for much more ticket price hike.

Earlier a delegation of Tollywood consisting of Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi and Rajamouli met AP CM Jagan in person and request for a price hike. But the government only allowed 25 rs additional hike with the already revised ticket hike prices. From the beginning makers of RRR were expecting special treatment for their film. The film is completely star studded with Jr.NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt. The film is also being released in all the Indian languages.

With the existing prices, the makers feel the film might not get a huge hit status like Bahubali got. They are lobbying with the government for Rs.300 for ticket prices in AP. Going by the present situation it looks very difficult for them to get such permission for this rate. It has to be seen how they request the government.

Prabhas failed to repeat the 100 cr opening feat with Radhe Shyam !

Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde released today. Prabhas who once was a regional hero became the country’s sensation over night with the huge success of Bahubali. The hardwork and dedication he put into the film swept the people completely. So much so that he was considered as Bollywood hero now. Prabhas did Sahoo as his next Pan-Indian film after Bahubali. The film too managed to gross more than 100 crores alone in Bollywood market. Now all eyes are on Radhe Shyam !

Both Bahubali 2 and Sahoo had extraordinary opening days at the box-office and Bahubali 2 managed to collect more than 200 crores gross on opening day. Sahoo collected more than 100 crore on the opening day. But this time Prabhas failed to get a 100 cr opening with Radhe Shyam. The film has failed to create the buzz in other languages and started with mixed reviews.

In telugu states the film is expected to open with 40 cr+ gross. Karnataka with 6cr, Tamil Nadu with 2 cr and Kerala with 50 lakhs. North India might be around 6 cr+. Around $2.5M opening is expected in overseas market. But these numbers are not enough to get a 100cr opening. According to the estimates the opening day will be in the range of 75crs. Radhe Shyam projected as a love story might also be the reason for not delivering a 100 cr on the opening day.

RRR team is planning for a big event in Dubai

Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Ramarao coming with Rise Roar Revolt. The excitement is gearing up. The release is just two weeks away. Everyone is waiting to get thrilled in theatres. But Rajamouli’s movie is not just a regular movie. It’s massive than that. It’s huge than any other. So the promotions and so the celebrations. Rajamouli yesterday tweeted that the count down will kick start from 14th March with RRR celebration Anthem ‘Ethara Jenda’ song. 

As part of the promotions RRR team planned an event in Dubai back in December. As the movie got postponed they couldn’t head on with the event. And now the movie is ready for its release and so the event is back in track. The team is planning a massive event in Dubai on 18th March. We know RRR is not just a Pan India film but is will create huge buzz all around the world. So these promotions will really help to get the buzz ringing around the world.
