RRR team has applied for a ticket price hike and got Rs. 75 additional hike with the revised ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh. As we have informed earlier that the team was exclusively trying for hikes in Telangana also. The amount of ticket price hikes in Telangana are too huge. The audience are already feeling the heat with the ticket prices which are very higher in Telangana and have also affected the footfalls of the films. No film is performing better after the first weekend.

RRR team is trying for an extra Rs.100 hike with the current ticket prices. These prices are literally a shock to the audience. Earlier too there were huge ticket prices for many small and medium budget films. Prices even touched 390 in some multiplexes for these medium budgeted films. Any Big star-studded with these prices are overseen by people and are even encouraged by them. But prices amounting to this level is not good for small budget films. This would obviously make the audience avoid such films.

The government of Andhra Pradesh thought about the same and tried to bridge the gap between the ticket prices and the OTT prices so as to make the audience watch every film with less prices. But all celebrities stood against this decision and now charging very much. It has to be seen how it goes with these prices.

For the first time, ever Superstar Mahesh’s daughter Ghattamaneni Sitara is featured in a video song. And that too for the superstar’s new movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s second single. A promo is released today featuring Sitara and Superstar. Though the father and daughter are not in the same frame the fans are going crazy. Sitara is so active in social media and she show cased her dancing skills through some videos dancing for Mahesh’s released songs. But now she sizzles in the new song of her father.

Penny song promo is too good. The music bit is very catchy and It is great to watch Mahesh and Sitara on screen. Mahesh’s screen presence is the one everyone will talk about. Fans say that Sitara’s screen presence is equally good. Sitara’s peppy dance steps are fantastic. Mahesh is looking super cool and his step is Uber cool. Penny video song is releasing on 20th March. Darling Prabhas shows his big heart from time to time. He is always friendly to the producers and when it is UV creations, it is like his home banner for him. Prabhas has done two back 2 back films with UV creations. That too after Bahubali 2, Prabhas has become a pan India star. Every production house looked for Prabhas’ dates after the huge success of Bhaubali. But it is UV creations who got the golden opportunity to produce two films Saaho and Radhe Shyam. 

Though the movies are taken over by small directors and producers increased the budget as per pan India market. Saaho did well at the box office for the producers. The movie opened with a very good buzz and did well in Hindi. Although the movie was a failure at Boxoffice still, the Producers did not get affected much. Radhe Shyam opened well in Telugu states but failed to get good numbers in other states. The producers have incurred losses. 

Prabhas in an interview before Radhe Shyam‘s release told that he had to reduce his remuneration for Saaho and Radhe Shyam to help the producers to make those films on a bigger scale. It is heard that Prabhas has taken 50% of remuneration before the film and now with the result, darling at heart sacrifices the remaining remuneration. Fans feel that Prabhas has to be very careful in project selection.

RRR movie team has cancelled the Paid Premieres

Earlier it is said that the paid premiers for RRR has been confirmed. Makers planned to have a paid premier a night before the actual release in both the Telugu states. Even Rajamouli hinted that there will be paid premiers for RRR on 24th March. So Fans have been excited and are waiting for the announcement of time and theatres for premier. But the latest news about it disappoint the fans.

When Rajamouli mentioned about the plan of paid premiers, he clearly mentioned that the final call will be made by distributors only. But now it seems like the paid premieres plan has been called off. For now the exact reason behind the cancellation of the premieres is unknown.

The buzz is that RRR’s distributors decided not to have the paid premieres. Instead they are planning for the early morning shows. It is heard that RRR’s shows will start from 12:30 AM on 25 March while some say that the first show will begin at 4:00 Am in the morning. So we have to wait for the official announcement about the paid premiers and early morning shows.

After the release of two movies, she got an offer from Tollywood opposite Roshann Meka. Pelli SandaD was released on 15th December, 2021. Sree Leela was acclaimed for her glamour and dance. Sree Leela’s latest Kannada flick By Two Love is released recently and fared well. She is completing another Kannada movie Dubari that is scheduled for December, 2022 release. Coming to Tollywood, The 20 year old actress is currently doing Raviteja’s Dhamaka and signed a film with Vaishnav Tej . The glamour doll is also in final talks for Naveen polisetty film and Nithin – Vakkntham Vamsi film. This seems to be a good opportunity for her to show her mark in Tollywood.

Suriya after two direct OTT releases came out with ET on 10th March in theatres. Suriya who had box office hits at one time got some flops continuously from 2016 to 2019. He enjoyed the stardom at one point and had block buster releases.

His movies used to open with big numbers. But after the flood Suriya’s market has come down. Though Suriya is getting good name for his acting in every movie, the movies are failing at box office.

After decent opening weekend in TN the film witnessed huge drop on week days. So looking at the numbers ET is registering as flop at box office. In other territories apart from TN, ET didn’t open well. A big disaster on cards for Suriya. Aakasame ne Haddura and Jai Bhim got good reviews and applause from audience. Those movies are directly released on OTT platforms.

After the response of those movies, fans expected that Suriya’s theatrical release ET will become a big hit at box office. But the result is disappointing for fans. Now the fans are waiting for a commercial film from Suriya to hit the box office.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata theatrical business has picked up steam and is going at a great pace. The action entertainer will release on 12th May later this year and there is extraordinary demand in the trade circles for it. RRR gets the ticket hike officially from AP Government

Director Rajamouli met AP Cinematography Minister Perni Nani on 15 March and appealed for the ticket price hike for his upcoming film RRR. But there was no official confirmation on the same from the Government’s side. The makers of RRR wanted a ticket price hike upto Rs. 300. Rajamouli even met the minister Perni Nani regarding this.

Now RRR finally got the ticket price hike it needed. An official G.O. was released regarding this. AP Cinematography Minister, Perni Nani interacted with media yesterday. And he even stated that a report was submitted by the team of RRR stating the budget of RRR as around Rs. 336 crores without the lead cast and director’s remuneration.

The G.O. released allows an additional Rs.75 price hike with the already revised ticket prices for 10 days from the first date of release of the film. RRR is slated for release on 25 March. The team and the star cast look very confident about the film. RRR’s length time is also fixed and it will be 3 hours and 6 Minutes 54 seconds long. Rajamouli’s earlier film Bahubali didn’t have a runtime of 3 hrs. Looks like Rajamouli wants to give time for both the stars on screen.

Radhe Shyam will be the first Indian film with 100 cr+ theatrical loss

Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde released on March 11 amidst huge hype. The worldwide theatrical rights are valued at 200 crores and the film has managed to collect Rs. 78 cr share worldwide in it’s first week. The film may end up collecting Rs. 85 crore share in it’s final run. The film is heading towards more than 110 crore+ loss venture.

Due to the popularity earned by Prabhas with Bahubali series, makers from the beginning planned this as a Pan-Indian project. The budget for the film was also reported to be more than 100 crores. The film however received a mixed talk on the opening day. The film has collected a share of Rs. 63 crs during the first weekend in Telugu. But the film saw a huge fall on Monday. The same was with Tuesday and the film’s first week worldwide collections are Rs. 77.86 Cr which is very low for it’s theatrical business.

The film saw a huge competition from The Kashmir Files which released on the same day. Kashmir Files is doing wonders at the box-office day by day. This film is also expected to head towards 200 crore mark. This has affected Radhe Shyam’s hindi run too.

Puneet Rajkumar’s James created all time record in Karnataka

Puneet Rajkumar starrer James which is supposed to be his last film, has a sensational opening day at Karnataka Box-office. The film was released in record number of screens and shows across the state. The collections are massive. The film has also created an all time record opening with a good margin. The film is received by all sections of people irrespective of the talk.

According to the early estimates the film is said to have collected around 26 cr+ gross across Karnataka. This is surely a new milestone.
