Prithviraj Sukumaran is an actor whose popularity transcends southern industries. He is undoubtedly one of the leading Malayalam stars and is a known name in the Tamil industry as well. He has a sizable following in Telugu states as well due to the success of many of his dubbed films. Now the actor has revealed that he might be starring alongside Prabhas in his upcoming project.
Speaking at an event in Hyderabad, the actor made an interesting revelation about his Tollywood plans. He confirmed that he has been approached by Prashanth Neel for an important role in Salaar and he is accepting it.
“I’ve been offered a very important role in Salaar. I absolutely loved it, superb story. I said yes immediately. It’s a Prabhas film, you wanna work with him,” said the Malayalam actor/ director.
“In fact, the film came to me around two years ago, and then I had listened to the narration, I absolutely loved it. Superb story. I said yes immediately because Prashanth is a friend, Hombale Production company is also a friend,” he added.
It will be interesting to see what role Prithviraj plays in this power-packed action film. One thing is for sure, it will be a great experience to watch him alongside Prabhas on the big screen.
