In the past couple of days, there have been a lot of rumors regarding the budget of Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s film. The rumors have been spreading like wildfire on social media platforms.

A few days ago, we reported that Oh Baby! director Nandini Reddy narrated a script to Naga Chaitanya. The actor liked the script and gave a positive response to the script.

Rajamouli’s magnum opus was nothing short of a visual spectacle that connected emotionally as well. Ram Charan and Jr.NTR’s terrific performances further enhanced the story, making it a perfect commercial entertainer.

The movie has enjoyed a fantastic theatrical run so far, opening to a mind-bending opening day and an even better opening weekend. RRR broke many records in its first week including the record for the highest-grossing opening day collections.

It has now added yet another impressive record to its list. RRR is now officially an Industry hit in the Telugu states surpassing the likes of Bahubali 2 with ease. The 9 days share collection of RRR in the Telugu states is in the range of 210 crores, beating Bahubali 2’s full run of 200 crores share. This means that all movies that come close to this number will have to add “NON-RRR INDUSTRY HIT”.

The film is expected to do a collection of 275 Cr+ shares in its full run. RRR also stars Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, and a stellar ensemble cast. DVV Danayya has produced the film and MM Keeravani is the music director.

Mahesh has held discussions with director Parasuram Petla as well as his dear friend, Koratala Siva to make changes to the script. Now all three are involved in the editing of the film as well.

RRR beats Bollywood’s highest grosser Dangal

SS Rajamouli’s RRR is setting new milestones every day. The film is in the ninth day of its run and has already given staggering collections so far and is doing equally well domestically and overseas. Now, on the ninth day, RRR has achieved another massive feat. The action entertainer has now crossed Bollywood’s highest ever grosser Dangal.

RRR has crossed the 600Cr gross mark at box office and in the process left Aamir Khan’s Dangal behind. Now it’s on the second spot in the list of highest-grossing Indian cinema and is only behind Rajamouli’s own Baahubali2. In fact, RRR and Baahubali are the only two Indian movies to have achieved a Rs 600 crore gross mark at the Indian box office.

RRR is continuing its historic run and is bracing up for its second blockbuster weekend. The occupancies and advance bookings indicate heavy collections in the next two days and RRR is on course to center records in many areas.

Overall the film has collected a share of Rs186.3Crs from the Telugu States and the worldwide share of the Telugu version is close to Rs 263.2Crs just within the first week. With a monstrous weekend coming up, RRR is on course to become the biggest hit ever in Indian history.

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata is in its final stages and the shoot is set to be wrapped up in the coming days. For a Mahesh Babu film, the overseas market distribution is one of the most sought ones. The Superstar of Tollywood has a stellar track record is overseas and especially in the US, his films are known to strike gold.

Now as per the latest reports there has been a major shuffle in Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s US distributor. FlyHigh Cinemas delivered blockbuster JathiRatnalu in 2021 is collaborating with Shloka Entertainments and acquired SVP distribution in the USA. Earlier it was Hamsini Entertainments that was supposed to handle the US market.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata has some patchworks and one song shoot are still remaining to be shot. The action entertainer is scheduled to release on 12th May with US premieres on 11th. Two songs the movie Kalaavathi and Penny have already been released and there is a mass number ‘Mallepoola’ that is lined up next. Thaman is in a roaring form and the albums so far have received a tremendous response.
