NTR not interested to work with Buchi Babu now after RRR

Jr. NTR now seems not interested to work with Uppena director, Buchi Babu after RRR. Jr. NTR had a bonding with Buchi Babu during Nannaku Prematho where the latter served as the assistant director for Sukumar. Buchi Babu even continued the same bonding even during his film Uppena’s release with NTR. These seem to have prompted NTR to give a nod to his film with Buchi Babu. But it looks things have changed now.

NTR who last acted in Aravinda Sametha released in 2018 and NTR became busy for RRR for nearly 4 years. This is a disappointing thing for his fans. RRR released amidst great hype brought accolades for his performance but didn’t get the amount of reception that Ram Charan’s role had got overall. This became a big disappointing thing for his fans more. Now as said NTR is putting on hold the project with Buchi Babu.

NTR on the other hand is getting ready for his next film with Koratala Shiva, tentatively titled #NTR30. He is making sure to satisfy his fans who missed him for nearly 4 years. Makers are planning the film on a big scale. It is also speculated that he wanted to skip Buchi Babu movie and directly take up Prashanth Neel project.

Acharya’s next single is a feast for Mega fans

Mega fans who have been waiting eagerly for the release of Acharya have a delightful news. A single of Acharya is about to arrive in the next week. This single has a big surprise for the fans. That is nothing but both Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan tej performing for the song. Well this is a great news for Mega fans.

Acharya directed by Koratala Shiva has been postponed many times due to the Pandemic, Corona. Acharya’s shoot has already been finished and Chiranjeevi started going ahead with his other projects, Bholaa Shankar and God father. Post production work for the film is also said to be completed. Trailer announcement has already been done. Now a single is about to be released in the next week. This song will see both lead actors sharing the song. This is definitely a feast for the fans.

Earlier fans had the opportunity of watching them both dance for a song, Ammadu Let’s do Kummudu in Khaidi No 150. Now this will be the second song for both. Acharya also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde. Mani Sharma composed music for the film. The film will release on April 29.

RRR released amidst huge hype and expectations from the sides of both heroes gave a different taste to one of the hero’s fans. RRR supposed to be a multi-starrer drew mixed reviews. This happened especially from NTR fans who expected their favorite hero to have a major role. The role played by NTR received good appreciation from all. However the role played by Ram Charan as Alluri Sitharama Raju received huge appreciation from all including whole of north India.

Telugu Audience started appreciating both but majority of the people sided with Ram Charan’s characterization and his role’s depth in the film. Many have even openly started criticizing Rajamouli for the same. NTR too was rumoured to be disappointed with this. He now responded to these rumours and said that: “#NTR30 going to be loaded with drama, because I believe in a lot of drama, drama sells a lot. And of course, what all the fans want their hero to have a lot of heroism. You’re going to have everything what the fans want and what the audience expects post RRR”

Hindi Audience who earlier had known Ram Charan with his film, Zanjeer started appreciating Ram Charan more. This also didn’t go well with NTR fans. NTR along with Ram Charan expected lot of craze that Prabhas gathered with his Bahubali. Ram Charan only succeeded a bit in this process.

That’s the reason we hear about RRR team is having success party frequently after it’s release. Now, ace producer Dil Raju has thrown a lavish success party for the lead cast and crew of RRR. Dil Raju acquired the Nizam distribution rights of RRR for a record price. The film opened with a bang and he recovered his investment even before the completion of the first week

Jr NTR and Pranathi, Ram Charan and Upasana, Rajamouli and Rama, Keeravani and others attended the success bash of RRR. Along with RRR’s cast and crew, Koratala Siva, Anil Ravipudi and others joined the party. A video is going viral in which Rajamouli and Anil Ravipudi danced together for Natu Natu song.

Before the release of RRR, In a promotional interview NTR and Charan teased Rajamouli that after the release they will make Rajamouli to dance to Natu Natu song. The duo didn’t miss the chance yesterday and made the director dance the famous hook step. As NTR promised he took the role of director and asked Rajamouli to dance in sync with Anil Ravipudi. Everyone present in the party cheered the director duo.

Arabic Kuthu Telugu version from Vijay’s Beast receives backlash from Telugu Audience

The first single from Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast became a sensation in Kollywood. Anirudh came up with a fresh idea of mixing Arabic and Tamil Kuthu beats. Tamil actor Siva Karthikeyan penned lyrics for the song. The director Nelson Dilipkumar along with the duo named the song as Arabic Kuthu. Arabic Kuthu song is now a massive hit in Tamil which already crossed 250M+ views on YouTube. With the amazing response for the song all over, the makers released Telugu version of the song.

Telugu version released couple of days back and got backlashed. Beast team in the Telugu version of the song left the same “Malama” & “Pitha” words in the tamil which didn’t go well with Telugu Audience. They started mentioning that Tamil directors are taking Telugu audience for granted.

It’s the responsibility of the makers to take care of such things when released in Telugu or for that matter in any language. Especially few words sounds awkward in the other language. Recently few movies got released with direct Tamil titles in Telugu. The latest biggie Ajith’s Valimai is the example. Let’s hope makers will take care of these when they release in Telugu.

Date locked for Prabhas – Maruthi Film launch

Ever since the reports of Prabhas- Maruthi film started doing rounds, film lovers have been quite curious as well as surprised. Many have even claimed this move by Prabhas a wrong step at this point of his career as he is currently in a different league. The pan-India star is currently busy with back-to-back pan-India projects.

With films like Salaar, Adipurush, Project K, and Spirit in the pipeline, hundreds of crores are riding on him at the moment.

Meanwhile, the movie is all set to launch on April 10th. DVV Danayya, who is riding high on the success of RRR will bankroll this Prabhas – Maruthi Film.

Prabhas has reportedly extremely limited call sheets to complete this project. He is currently loaded with back to back to back pan-India projects. Hence he wants to complete this Maruthi film at the earliest.

There are reports that this film will commence post-summer 2022 and finish in a short span. The ‘Radhe Shyam’ actor has allocated just 50 days for ‘Raja Deluxe’. SS Thaman will compose music for this project which will be bankrolled by DVV Danayya.

The film reportedly titled Raja Deluxe is a horror-comedy that will have Maruthi’s trademark humor. It has been ages since Prabhas has done a comic role and it would be interesting to see how this pans out.

The real box-office collections of RRR in Telugu states, yet to cross Baahubali2?

The box-office collections of RRR have been astounding and the film is running to packed houses across many centers. This period action drama has is going pretty strong domestically as well as in the overseas market. RRR has been declared an industry hit in the Telugu states. This multistarrer has crossed the lifetime collections of SS Rajamouli’s previous film Baahubali 2. But, how much truth is there to this claim?

The box-office collections of RRR are without doubt exceptional and the film is doing exceptionally well. But due to huge pressure from fans the distributors are announcing bloated numbers. Track Tollywood has collected the numbers from various sources and the numbers for 10 days are:

Ceeded – Rs 39Cr

Nizam – Rs 78.5 Cr including 18% GST

Nellore – Rs 7.3 Cr Excluding GST

Uttarandhra- Rs 25.5 Cr Including 18% GST

Guntur – Rs 15.7Cr Including GST

East – Rs 13.85 Cr,

West Rs 11.47Cr,

Krishna Rs 12.85Cr

The total AP/TG share is Rs 204.17 Cr, If we exclude the GST, RRR has not yet crossed Baahubali2 and the share is around Rs 190Cr.

Vijay’s Beast release banned in Kuwait

Tamil Superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast trailer was released recently and created sensation. In the trailer, the director Nelson Dilipkumar has showed an interesting episode from the film. It resembles the scene from the super hit series Money Heist.

In the Beast trailer, it is shown that a shopping mall in Chennai is hijacked by terrorists who hold the visitors as hostages. Then it is revealed that Vijay a spy is also got trapped in the mall. Then the trailer shows war sequences and also hero fights with terrorists. Everyone liked the trailer but Kuwait government may not liked it.

The government of Kuwait banned the release of Beast in Kuwait. Whereas some Arab countries like UAE have granted permission to screen the film. Seems like the film deals with big Islamic terrorism which is not encouraged by Arabic countries.

Kuwait banned few films before too stating the reason that the film showed Arab countries as a home for terrorists. Recently Vishnu Vishal’s FIR and Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup also got banned in Kuwait. Thalapathy Vijay fans in Kuwait that are eagerly waiting for the release are really disappointed.

The blockbuster combo is again joining hands for a film

After the roaring success of Akhanda, the blockbuster combo of Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna are set to join hands again. However, this project will take some time to go on floors. Balakrishna will be next seen in a film with Gopichand Malineni. The ‘Krack’ director has reportedly written an out-and-out mass character for Balayya and it will be a feast for Nandamuri fans.

After the movie with Gopichand Malineni, Balayya will then move on to a project with Anil Ravipudi. ‘This film will be different from all my previous movies and Balayya will be shown in a totally different avatar,’ said Anil Ravipudi in an interview. As per sources, this film will be an equal balance of comedy as well as action.

Once the senior actor is done with these projects, he will then join Boyapai for the fourth time. This blockbuster combo has given films like Simha, Legend, and Akhanda. All these films have brought great glory to Balayya and pulled him out of a slump.

Boyapati is currently working on a pan-India project with Ram Pothineni. Srinivasa Chitturi will bankroll this project under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. The film was launched recently and will go on floors in July.
