Recent Telugu release Mishan Impossible OTT date is here

The OTT release date of Tapsee Pannu starrer Mishan Impossible is out. The film will release on Netflix on 29th April. Mishan Impossible is directed by Swaroop RSJ, who earlier made his debut with Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya.

The film is a story of three kids named Raghupati, Raghava, Rajaram who go by the monicker RRR. RRR set out to capture India’s most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim where their paths cross with Sailaja (Tapsee), an investigative journalist. Sailaja is following a series of child trafficking cases and trying to bring light to it. How RRR and Sailaja combine their forces and work together is what the story is about.

While Mishan Impossible’s concept was well appreciated, it failed to excite the audience and didn’t fare well at the box office. Let’s see if the film manages to impress the film lovers once it’s out on Netflix.

Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy have produced the film under the banner of Matinee Entertainment. Music is composed by Mark K. Robin and Editing is handled by Ravi Teja Girijala.

Vijay’s much-awaited Beast released last week amidst massive hype and fan fervour. The movie, however, failed to live up to the expectations and saw huge drops after the first weekend and even received mostly negative reviews.

In fact, as of today, Beast’s run has ended in the Telugu states and outside Tamil Nadu, this film is a huge disaster. This action thriller was released in Telugu and Hindi along with Tamil. In Telugu, the movie opened well but later saw drops on day2 due to the KGF2 release. Day 3 was even worse for the film with the movie completely collapsing and the shares being pretty minimal. Beast is a massive disaster in the Hindi circuit as well.

Amidst the movie’s dismal performance, Vijay’s father and noted Kollywood director S.A Chandrasekhar has pinned the entire blame on director Nelson. He mentioned that the story and screenplay are not good at all and Beast attained little success only because of Vijay’s stardom and the music of the film. mentioned the story and screenplay is not good in the beast only because of Vijay stardom and Music the film is tuning successfully.

He also added that the director should have worked for a better screenplay, story, and hero characterisation.

Nelson Dileepkumar has directed this action thriller that revolves around a hostage situation at the mall. Vijay plays a RAW officer in the film and is entrusted with saving the day. Vijay’s Beast also stars Pooja Hegde, Redin Kingsley, and Selvaraghavan among others.

Vijay’s Beast has almost ended up its run in AP/TS. The film which carried good hype before the release didn’t go well with audience and received a negative talk. The film performed very poor here. All of recent films of Vijay did well and his earlier film, Master too did good here. Beast too carried this hype and had a great opening with very good numbers close to 5 Crore share on day 1. The theatrical rights are valued at 10 crores. This was a very good opening.

After opening day, due to the negative talk and the release of KGF Chapter 2 a day after its release, the film had struggled. After the weekend, there is no share for the film. The film has ended up with 6.8 cr share in AP/TS with disaster status. KGF Chapter 2 receiving a good talk also played one of the reasons for this debacle. Beast on the other hand had no fan moments and offered nothing new. The film completely revolved around a Mall’s hijack. For a star like Vijay, this became a minus. Fans expected much from the film. The film made around 190 crores gross worldwide in 5 days.

KGF Chapter 2 had a very limited release in Tamil Nadu due to the release of Vijay’s Beast a day before its release. But even with the limited screens, the film did wonders at the Tamil Nadu box-office. There is huge demand for tickets and even mid-night the shows got sold out for the weekend. Beast is struggling hard in the week days. Theatre owners are also interested to screen KGF Chapter 2 now.

For the 1st day, the film released in 250+ theatres, but for the 2nd week around 200 theatres are being added. This would take the total theatre count to 450+ in Tamil Nadu. This is a sensational performance. The film is already rocking whole country with its box-office performance. It broke the record held by Baahubali 2 in Kerala by grossing more than 33 crores. In AP/TS the film’s collections are close to 62 crores for 6 days. The film has already crossed the 500 marks in 4 days. It is heading towards the 1000 crore mark and may touch it easily.

The film even collected a gross of 30 crores in Tamil Nadu in 4 days. The film’s Hindi version has already crossed 200 crores gross mark and it is also on its way to cross the 300 crore mark in the coming days.

KGF Chapter 2 is having its dream run throughout the country and also at AP/TS. The film’s Telugu version opened to a good start and also had a good weekend. KGF Chapter 2 6 days AP/TS box office collections are close to 62 crores share. The Theatrical rights are valued at 75 crores. The film may get the break even status easily in a week if the same momentum continues. The recovery is now at 82%.

KGF Chapter 1 released as a very small film slowly gathered fandom and became successful throughout the country. It was completely owned by all the sections of audiences just like how both Bahubali 1 & Bahubali 2 got owned. The hype naturally got extended with KGF Chapter 2 becoming even more successful each and everyday after its release. The film has already touched the 500 crore mark worldwide. The film will stands next to Bahubali 1&2, Dangal and RRR to achieve this feat. It may even touch the 1000 crore mark easily.

On the other hand, KGF Chapter 2 even broke Baahubali 2 collections in Kerala which is phenomenal. The film collected 33 crore gross there in a week. Baahubali 2 held the record earlier by grossing 31cr+

Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi Telugu version OTT release date

Alia Bhatt’s recent Bollywood biographical drama Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to make its way to OTT soon. The film will stream on Netflix from April 26th in Hindi and Telugu.

The film is based on life of Ganga Harjivandas who elopes to Mumbai with her lover with a dream of becoming a film actress. Much to her shock she is sold to a brothel and is forced into prostitution. How she rises from that position and becomes a force to reckon with is what the movie follows.

Netflix India took to Twitter and updated fans who are eagerly waiting to catch Alia on the small screen yet again. The OTT giant shared a video glimpse of the actress from Gangubai Kathiawadi. “Dekho, dekho chaand Netflix pe aaraha hai Gangubai Kathiawadi arrives on April 26th,” shared the OTT giant.

Nani and Nazariya starrer Ante Sundaraniki teaser dropped in a while ago and it promises great fun. The film’s teaser featured Nani as an orthodox Brahmin boy while Nazariya belongs to a conservative Christian family. The duo falls in love and how they overcome this societal barrier along another major issue forms the crux of the story.

The film is an out-and-out romantic comedy with an interesting twist. Nani is back to his strong zone and looks effortless in Sundar’s caharacter. Nazariya, who’s making her Tollywood debut with Ante Sundaraniki looks gorgeous and has a great role in the film.

Vivek Athreya has directed this quirky comedy-drama. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project and it also stares Naresh, Harsha Vardhan, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Suhas in key roles.

Sad news for Telugu cinema , The star distributor and producer passes away

Asian group, Global Cinemas chairman, President of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, Producer, Distributor, Exhibitor, Financier Sri Narayan Das Narang is no more. He had been suffering from age related issues for a few months before passing away today at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad.

The renowned personality had produced and distributed several films. His latest films are Naga Chaitanya’s Love story and Naga Sourya’s Lakshya. He also owns the Asian multiplex, as well as being a co-owner of AMB Cinemas alongside Mahesh babu in Hyderabad. Narayan Das Narang is survived by his son Sunil Narang, a producer and exhibitor as well.

Several celebrities and famous personalities are conveying their condolences through social media. Mahesh Babu shared his mourning on twitter sharing an old pic of him and Narayan Das Narang. Megastar Chiranjeevi wrote, “Tribute to Shri Narayan Das Narang Garu, President of the Film Chamber of Commerce”. Many Tollywood celebrities are expected to attend his last rites.
