After a brief hiatus, Naga Shaurya is back to his comfort genre- romantic comedy with Krishna Vrinda Vihari. Directed by Anish Krishna, this film also has popular singer/YouTuber Shirley Setia marking her Tollywood debut. Krishna Vrinda Vihari has a fresh look and cast and has received positive reception so far. After the average performance of his past few films, Naga Shaurya is in desperate need of a hit and it all depends on this movie. Can this movie bring back the audience after the disappointing releases of last week? Let’s check out.

Story: Krishna (Naga Shaurya) is an IT employee belonging to an orthodox Brahmin family. He falls in love with his project lead Vrinda (Shirley Setia). While the love blossoms between the two, it also opens up the stark cultural differences between the two. How Krishna and Vrinda balance the traditional family and modern outlook is what the story follows.

Performances:  Naga Shaurya looks great throughout the movie and his boy next door characterization works out quite well. Shirley Setia making her Tollywood debut looks good and her pairing with Shaurya looks good on screen. The same can’t be said about her acting and when it comes to expressing herself, the inability is quite obvious and a major distraction. Vennela Kishore is dependable as ever so are the other supporting actors.

Analysis: Krishna Vrinda Vihari presents a tried and tested plot in a unique way. The film certainly has some high moments and draws the audience closer. However, predictability in writing and cliched scenes bring the tempo down in the second half. The film is technically great with good production values and rich visuals. Better screenplay and chopping up some unnecessary parts would have made this film a great breezy entertainer.

Verdict: 

Krishna Vrinda Vihari has got all the makings of a breezy family entertainer. The film has its moments and feels quite pleasing to the soul. It would have been a much better experience if a bit more focus was placed on better music and holding the film with a tighter screenplay towards the end of the film. Overall, it’s a decent watch for the weekend.

Dhanush and Nithya Menen’s blockbuster Thiruchitrambalam became a smash hit at the box office. A simple yet fresh romantic comedy that tugged at the audiences’ heartstrings. Nithya Menen’s bubbly presence and Dhanush’s effortless acting carried this cute film. Thiruchitrambalam is now streaming on the SUN NXT OTT platform in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

First Day First Show was a movie that showed a lot of promise from the start. From the trailer and the first glimpse, people expected an Anudeep KV-style comedic entertainer but what we got instead was a stale and boring plot. The film crashed at the box office on the opening day itself and collected zero shares. It is now streaming on the Aha Telugu platform.

Babli Bouncer starring Tamannah Bhatia in the lead role is a comedy-drama about a female bouncer. The story revolves around how Babli survives in her world which is mostly dominated by men. It is streaming exclusively on the Disney + Hotstar OTT platform in all languages.

Kalapuram is a Telugu language comedy drama that stars Satyam Rajesh in the lead role. It is streaming on the ZEE5 OTT platform.

To top it all off, we have Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger, which is finally streaming on OTT now. After the disastrous theatrical run, the film will have a chance to breathe in the OTT space. It is streaming on Disney + Hotstar in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

కార్తికేయ-2.. గత నెలలో విడుదలైన ఈ చిత్రం అనూహ్యంగా ప్యాన్ ఇండియా స్థాయిలో భారీ విజయాన్ని సాధించిన చిత్రం. నిఖిల్ సిద్ధార్థ – అనుపమ పరమేశ్వరన్ జంటగా నటించిన ఆధ్యాత్మిక అడ్వెంచర్ థ్రిల్లర్ సినిమాకి చందూ మొండేటి దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. ఈ చిత్రం ద్వారకా నగరం శ్రీకృష్ణుడి చుట్టూ తిరుగుతుంది. పీపుల్ మీడియా ఫ్యాక్టరీ -అభిషేక్ అగర్వాల్ ఆర్ట్స్ ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించాయి. ప్రముఖ బాలీవుడ్ నటుడు అనుపమ్ ఖేర్ ఈ చిత్రంలో ఒక కీలకమైన సన్నివేశంలో కనిపించే అతిథి పాత్రలో నటించారు. శ్రీనివాస రెడ్డి- వైవా హర్ష కీలక పాత్రలు పోషించారు.

ఇక ఈ సినిమా రేపిన బాక్సాఫీస్ దుమారం గురించి ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పాల్సిన పనిలేదు. అసలు ఎవరు కూడా ఏమాత్రం ఊహించని విధంగా బాలీవుడ్ లో సైతం ఈ సినిమా విజయ కేతనం ఎగరవేసింది. హిందీ వెర్షన్ తొలి రోజు కేవలం 50 థియేటర్లలో రిలీజ్ అయినా.. సినిమాకు ప్రేక్షకుల నుంచి అద్భుతమైన స్పందన రావడంతో థియేటర్ల సంఖ్య వేయికి, ఆ పైన రెండు వేల థియేటర్ల వరకు పాకడం విశేషం. దాన్ని బట్టే కార్తికేయ-2 హిందీ బెల్ట్ లో ఏ స్థాయిలో విజయాన్ని నమోదు చేసిందో అర్థం అవుతుంది.

అయితే హిందీ మార్కెట్లలో కార్తికేయ2 సాధించిన ఘనవిజయంతో నిఖిల్ చాలా ఉత్సాహంగా ఉన్నారు . కాగా అనుకోకుండా వచ్చిన ఈ మార్కెట్ ను కోల్పోకుండా ఉండాలని నిఖిల్ ఆశిస్తున్నారని తెలుస్తోంది. అందుకే తన రాబోయే సినిమాలను హిందీలో కూడా విడుదల చేయాలని ప్లాన్ చేస్తున్నారని సమాచారం. నిఖిల్ తదుపరి చేయబోయే సినిమాలు 18 పేజీస్ మరియు స్పై.

ప్రస్తుతం నిఖిల్ ఈ రెండు సినిమాల బృందంతో ఇదే విషయమై చర్చలు జరుపుతున్నారు అని తెలియవచ్చింది. ఇక పై తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులతో పాటు హిందీ ప్రేక్షకులను కూడా ఆకర్షించడానికి తను నటించే సినిమాల్లో అవసరమైన మార్పులను చర్చిస్తున్నారట.

అయితే హిందీ మార్కెట్ పై పట్టు సాధించడం అంత సులభం కాదనే చెప్పాలి. అక్కడ హీరో ఇమేజ్ కన్నా కూడా సినిమా కంటెంట్ పైనే ప్రేక్షకులు దృష్టి పెడతారు. మరీ ముఖ్యంగా కరోనా పాండెమిక్ తర్వాత వారు సినిమాలు చూసే విధానంలో మార్పు వచ్చింది.

కార్తికేయ-2 సినిమా అంతా కృష్ణతత్వం ఆధారంగా తెరకెక్కిన సినిమా కాబట్టి ఉత్తరాది ప్రేక్షకులని ఆ చిత్రం ఎంతగానో ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. ఇప్పటికీ అక్కడ కార్తికేయ-2 థియేటర్లు హౌస్ ఫుల్ అవుతున్నాయంటే అది ఎంతమాత్రం అతిశయోక్తి కాదు. అంత అనూహ్యమైన స్పందన రాబట్టే.. హిందీ డబ్బింగ్ వెర్షన్ తెలుగు చిత్రాల్లో ‘కార్తికేయ-2’ టాప్ 10 లో స్థానం దక్కించుకుంది.

నిఖిల్ తదుపరి చేయబోయే సినిమా పై కొంతవరకు ఉత్తరాది ప్రేక్షకులు దృష్టి పెడతారు అనేది అయితే వాస్తవం. ఆ చిత్రంతో గనక వాళ్ళను నిఖిల్ ఆకట్టుకోగలిగితే తను అనుకున్నట్లు నిజంగానే హిందీ మార్కెట్లో జెండా పాతేయచ్చు. మన తెలుగు హీరో హిందీలో కూడా నిలదొక్కుకుంటే అది అందరూ ఆనందించే విషయమే కదా. మరి ఉత్సాహంతో ఉరకలు వేస్తున్న యువ హీరో నిఖిల్ ఆశలు ఫలించాలని ఆశిద్దాం.

Actor Nikhil Focuses On Hindi Market Now; Reworking On His New Movies

After the humungous success of Karthikeya 2, Nikhil is at the tip of everyone’s tongue. While the success of the Telugu version was somewhat expected, the success of the Hindi version was unprecedented and crosses all barriers to become a raging sensation in the North.

Nikhil is now in full josh after the success of the Hindi version and wants to capitalize on that market. Nikhil has always enjoyed a decent market in the Telugu states but he wants to now focus on the Hindi markets.

He has decided to release his upcoming movies in Hindi also to cater to his Pan-Indian market. Nikhil also has two upcoming movies in the form of 18 Pages with Anupama Parameswaran, which is a romantic comedy written by Sukumar. He also has another spy thriller film that can work very well in the North market.

Nikhil is now in discussions with the makers of these two movies to change certain aspects to attract the North audiences as well as the Telugu audiences. He is on a career-high at the moment with Karthikeya 2 and will be looking to release his next films soon and continue the hype.

నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ హీరోగా.. వివి వినాయక్ దర్శకత్వంలో.. బెల్లంకొండ సురేష్ నిర్మించిన మాస్ ఫ్యాక్షన్ డ్రామా ‘చెన్నకేశవ రెడ్డి’ , ఇరవై ఏళ్లు పూర్తి చేసుకున్న సందర్భంగా సెప్టెంబర్ 25న మళ్లీ విడుదల కానుంది. కాగా ఆ తేదీన రెగ్యులర్ షోలు ప్రారంభం కావడానికి 24 గంటల ముందే.. అనేక ప్రీమియర్ షోలను సెప్టెంబర్ 24న నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు నిర్మాత గురువారం ప్రకటించారు.

నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ కథానాయకుడిగా, వివి వినాయక్ దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన ఈ చిత్రం ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాల్లో 300కి పైగా స్క్రీన్లలో విడుదల కానుంది. పైగా విశేషం ఏమిటంటే.. ఆయా షోల ద్వారా ‘చెన్నకేశవ రెడ్డి’ సినిమా సాధించిన వసూళ్లలో 75 శాతం బసవతారకం ట్రస్టుకు ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించినట్లు నిర్మాత బెల్లంకొండ సురేష్ ఈరోజు తెలిపారు.

ఇది నిజంగా ఎంతో అభినందనీయం. కేవలం అభిమానుల ఆనందం కోసం సినిమాని మళ్ళీ ప్రత్యేకంగా విడుదల చేయడమే కాకుండా.. ఆ ప్రత్యేక ప్రదర్శనల ద్వారా వచ్చిన డబ్బును ఇలా సమాజానికి ఉపయోగపడే విధంగా ఇవ్వడం గొప్ప పని అనే చెప్పాలి.

నటసింహ బాలయ్య బాబు మరియు మాస్ డైరెక్టర్ వి.వి.వినాయక్ ఇరువురి కెరీర్ లో ఈ చిత్రానికి ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉంటుంది. 2002 సంవత్సరంలో విడుదలయిన చెన్నకేశవరెడ్డి సినిమాలో బాలయ్య ద్విపాత్రాభినయం చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ చిత్రంలో శ్రియ శరణ్ కథానాయికగా నటించారు. అలాగే మణిశర్మ సంగీతం అందించారు. పాటలతో పాటు ఆయన ఈ సినిమాకి అందించిన బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ ఇప్పటికీ కేవలం బాలయ్య అభిమానులనే కాక ఇతర సినీ అభిమానులను కూడా అలరిస్తుంది.

RRR సినిమా తర్వాత హీరో ఎన్టీఆర్.. దర్శకుడు కొరటాల శివతో ఒక సినిమా ప్రకటించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఎన్టీఆర్30 సినిమా పోయిన మే నెలలో లేదా జూన్‌లోనే సెట్స్‌ పైకి వెళ్లాల్సి ఉంది కానీ ఇప్పటికీ ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్ ప్రారంభం కాలేదు. ఆచార్య సినిమా అనూహ్యంగా భారీ డిజాస్టర్ ఫలితాన్ని ఇచ్చినప్పటి నుండి, కొరటాల శివకు పరిస్థితులు ఏమీ అనుకూలంగా లేవనే చెప్పాలి.

అదే క్రమంలో స్క్రిప్ట్‌ వర్క్ కు సంభందించిన పనులను ప్రారంభించారు.అయితే ఆ తర్వాత ఎన్టీఆర్ స్క్రిప్ట్‌లో పలు మార్లు మార్పులు చేర్పులు చేయమని కోరారు. అయన సూచనల మేరకు కొరటాల తన స్క్రిప్ట్‌లో చాలా మార్పులు చేసినప్పటికీ, ఎన్టీఆర్ ఇప్పటికీ స్క్రిప్ట్‌ను ఓకే చేయలేదని తెలుస్తోంది. దీంతో అసలు ఈ సినిమాపై ఎన్టీఆర్ ఆసక్తి చూపుతున్నారా లేదా అని నిర్మాతలు ఇప్పుడు ప్రాజెక్ట్ గురించి ఆందోళన చెందుతున్నారట.

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో కొరటాల శివతో కలిసి నటించేందుకు ఎన్టీఆర్ ఆసక్తి చూపడం లేదనే వార్తలు ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాల్లో కూడా వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. ఎన్టీఆర్ ఇప్పుడు వేరే దర్శకుల కోసం వెతికే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నా కానీ ప్రస్తుతానికి ఎవరూ ఖాళీగా లేరు. ఒక్కో డైరెక్టర్ ఒక్కో హీరోతో సినిమాలకు కమిట్ అయి ఉన్నారు. అందువల్లే ఎన్టీఆర్ ఇంకా కొరటాల సినిమాని పూర్తిగా రద్దు చేయలేదు.

ఇదివరకే చెప్పుకున్నట్లు ఈ సినిమా స్క్రిప్ట్ విషయంలో ఎన్టీఆర్ చాలా జాగర్తలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు. అందుకే ఒకటికి రెండుసార్లు దర్శకుడు కొరటాల శివకు మార్పులు చేయమని సూచించారు. మరి కొరటాల శివ నుంచి వచ్చే ఫైనల్ నేరేషన్ అయినా ఎన్టీఆర్‌ని ఒప్పించగలదో లేదో వేచి చూడాలి.

NTR’s film with Koratala Siva was supposed to go on floors in May or June but the shooting has still not been started. Ever since the disastrous result of Acharya, things have not been going in Koratala Siva’s favor.

Due to the heavy losses incurred from Acharya, Koratala was busy compensating for these losses. NTR had made it very clear that the movie will start only when Koratala Siva is fully out of the Acharya mess. After Koratala cleared the losses, he directed his complete attention toward the NTR film and started working on the script.

But later on, NTR asked for changes in the script continuously. Despite many changes in the script, NTR has still not okayed the script. The producers are now worrying about the project as to whether NTR is interested in the film or not.

Even some members of the industry are hearing the news that NTR is no longer interested to work with Koratala Siva. NTR is now looking for other directors but the issue is that no one is free at the moment. This is the reason why NTR is still holding on to the project with Siva. We will have to wait and see if the final narration from Koratala Siva manages to convince NTR.

టాలీవుడ్లో ప్రస్తుతం రీ-రిలీజ్‌లు సీజన్‌లో ట్రెండ్‌గా మారాయి. టైం మెషీన్ లో వెనక్కి వెళ్లిన తరహాలో.. తెలుగు సినీ అభిమానులు తమ అభిమాన హీరోల మాస్ బ్లాక్‌బస్టర్‌లను ఆస్వాదించడానికి అవి సరైన మార్గంగా అవతరించాయి. గతంలో సూపర్ హిట్ గా నిలిచిన పలు హీరోల సినిమాలను ఆయా హీరోల పుట్టినరోజు లేదా సినిమా వార్షికోత్సవం సందర్భంగా సినిమా రీ రిలీజ్ చేస్తున్న దాఖలాలు ఈ మధ్యకాలంలో బాగా పెరిగాయి. పవర్ స్టార్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ నటించిన జల్సా, తమ్ముడు, ఒక్కడు, పోకిరి వంటి సినిమాలను రీ రిలీజ్ చేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.

మరి మాస్ బ్లాక్‌బస్టర్‌ల గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ.. మాస్ గాడ్ గా పేరు గాంచిన బాలయ్య గురించి చెప్పకపోతే ఎలా.. నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ ఫిల్మోగ్రఫీలో అలాంటి సినిమాలు చాలా ఉన్నాయి. అందులో ఒక సినిమా చెన్నకేశవరెడ్డి.

చెన్నకేశవ రెడ్డి రీ-రిలీజ్ అవుతుందనే అధికారిక ప్రకటన వెలువడినప్పటి నుంచి నందమూరి అభిమానుల్లో తారాస్థాయిలో ఉత్కంఠ నెలకొంది. ఆ ఉత్సాహమే ఈ సినిమా రీ-రిలీజ్‌లలో ఆల్ టైమ్ రికార్డ్ క్రియేట్ చేయడానికి దారి తీసింది.

చెన్నకేశవరెడ్డి సినిమా అమెరికాలో మొత్తం 31 చోట్ల విడుదలవుతున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికే ప్రీ-రిలీజ్ బుకింగ్‌ల ద్వారా పాతిక వేల డాలర్లు వసూలు చేసినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. జల్సా సినిమా విషయానికి వస్తే ఈ కలెక్షన్లు 37 వేల డాలర్లతో అత్యధిక వసూళ్ల రికార్డ్ ప్రస్తుతం తన పేరిట ఉంచుకుంది, కానీ ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న ఊపు చూస్తుంటే చెన్న కేశవ రెడ్డి ఈ రికార్డ్‌ను చాలా సునాయాసంగా బద్దలు కొట్టేలా ఉంది.

2002లో విడుదలైన ఈ ఫ్యాక్షన్ బ్యాక్ డ్రాప్ సినిమాకి వివి వినాయక్ దర్శకత్వం వహించారు. కాగా టబు మరియు శ్రియ ప్రధాన పాత్రల్లో నటించారు. ఈ సినిమాలో బాలకృష్ణ ద్విపాత్రాభినయంలో కనిపించి తనదైన శైలిలో మాస్ డైలాగ్స్ వల్లించి ప్రేక్షకులని విపరీతంగా అలరించారు. అలాగే ఈ సినిమాలో ఫైట్స్ కూడా ఇప్పటికీ అందరికీ గుర్తుండిపోయేలా తెరకెక్కించారు.

ముఖ్యంగా సినిమాలో.. బాలకృష్ణ సత్తిరెడ్డి అనే డైలాగ్ చెప్పగానే భూమి లోంచి సుమోలు పైకి లేచే సన్నివేశం మాస్ ప్రేక్షకులను అమితంగా అలరించింది. అలాగే తండ్రీ కొడుకుల మధ్య వచ్చే సన్నివేశాలతో పాటు బ్రహ్మానందం పెళ్లికి ముహూర్తం పెట్టే కామెడీ ఎపిసోడ్ కూడా ప్రేక్షకులను కడుపుబ్బా నవ్వించింది.

అఖిల్ అక్కినేని – సురేందర్ రెడ్డి కాంబినేషన్లో వస్తున్న ఏజెంట్ సినిమా చాలా కాలంగా తెరకెక్కే పనిలో ఉంది. COVID-19 కారణంగా షూటింగ్ ఆలస్యం అవడంతో సహా ఈ చిత్రం అనేక అడ్డంకులను ఎదుర్కొంది. దర్శకుడు సురేందర్ రెడ్డికి ఏజెంట్ నిర్మాతల మధ్య కూడా నిరంతరం విభేదాలు వచ్చాయని పలు రకాల కథనాలు వచ్చాయి.

ఏజెంట్‌ సినిమాలో మలయాళ మెగాస్టార్ మమ్ముట్టి, సాక్షి వైద్య కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటిస్తున్నారు. కాగా ఇతర పాత్రల్లో మరికొందరు సుప్రసిద్ధ నటులు నటించారు. సురేందర్ రెడ్డి గత సినిమాలకు రచయితగా పనిచేసిన వక్కంతం వంశీనే ఏజెంట్ సినిమాకు కూడా కూడా రాశారు.
