Sivaputrudu, Remake of Tamil original Puthamagan released in 2014 was a sensation then. The film won many awards and rewards for all the lead actors of the film. Director Bala registered his mark of making dark, deep, intense drama. Vikram and Suriya went on to become superstars. After 19 years Suriya joined with Bala for a film. Krithi Shetty has roped for main lead in this project. But latest info is that the film is going to be shelved.

Director Bala’s few films were shelved before multiple times. Some are camcelled after going to the sets. And some even after completing the schedule. Now again the rumours are circulating in Kollywood about Suriya 41. It is heard that Suriya is not happy with Bala’s work and he wants to cancel this project. Bala walked out from his last directorial film Varmaa, remake of Arjun Reddy due to creative differences.

Suriya 41 is an important film for Bala in many terms. Bala is in news for his divorce recently. And now this rumour will not help the talented director. Bala has to come out of this somehow. Let’s wait for the official announcement about Suriya 41.

Ravi Teja’s Movie Release Date Postponed Officially

After the average outing of Ravi Teja’s Khiladi in theatres, the actor will surely be eager to release his next film as soon as possible. But unfortunately, he will have to wait a little while longer until his next film hits the big screens.

Ravi Teja’s Ramarao On Duty was initially scheduled to release on June 17th but it now stands postponed. The makers of the film released a poster, stating the reasons for the same.

“To bring the massiest output on the screen, the post-production of the film is being done with extra care. Hence, the release date of the film will not be on June 17th”.The makers also added that a new release date will be announced very soon.

Ravi Teja will be seen playing the role of a deputy collector, who fights for the people, literally. The film also stars Venu Thottempudi, Divyanshi Kaushik, Rajisha Vijayan, and Naresh in important roles. Sarath Mandawa is the writer as well as the director.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata OTT Platform And Release Date

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata was released on 12th May and despite the negative publicity around the film, Mahesh’s craze has carried the movie through a successful 2-week run. It will have another week of its own after which Mahesh’s own film, MAJOR will hit the big screens.

There has now been an update regarding the OTT platform and release date of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The film will stream on the Amazon Prime Video platform from June 10th. The rights have been acquired by Prime for a whopping price.

Few years back, Chiranjeevi Vs Balakrishna at box office is no less than Ind Vs Pakistan in cricket World Cup. Samarasimha Reddy vs Sneham Kosam, Vamsodharakudu vs Annaya, Narasimhanaidu vs Mrugaraju are the epic clashes in the three consecutive years from 1999 to 2001. Then again in 2004, both came out with Lakshmi Narasimha vs Anji. Those clashes were in prime time of the star heroes. Audience enjoyed the euphoria to the peak when these two stars compete at the box office.

After 13 years they clashed again in 2017 with Gautamiputra Satakarni and Khaidi 150. Both the films did well at box office this time unlike the previous clashes. Now again the road is clear for the epic battle. It seems like NBK107 and God father will release in Dussera. This time the battle is little interesting as Balakrishna is on high after Akhnda. whereas Chiranjeevi is down with Acharya. Chiru wants to come back stronger now.

Anil Ravipudi Strong Comments On Social Media Trolls

During the last leg of interviews for F3, director Anil Ravipudi was asked about his opinion on the social media trolls against him. His response has stirred up a storm on social media.

Anil Ravipudi stated that his style of movies caters to different kinds of audiences and should not be trolled. The analogy that he used was that of a military hotel and a Brahmin hotel. “It would be so wrong if the owner of a military hotel went to a Brahmin hotel and said why do you eat veg food.”

“In the same manner, it is wrong for people to troll my movies because they don’t enjoy them. There are many people who enjoy my kind of movie, so let them enjoy it,” he added. “If so many people did not enjoy my movies they would not be so successful.”

F3 has officially released in theatres today on 27th May. Only time will tell if Anil was right or wrong about the audience.

F3 stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Varun Tej, Tammannah Bhatia, Mehreen Pirzada, and Sunil among others. Dil Raju is the producer of the film and DSP is the music director. It is the sequel to the blockbuster f2.

Director parsuram has missed the golden opportunity

Working with Superstar after only three movies is a golden opportunity for any director. Parasuram Petla got that once In a lifetime opportunity early in his career. But it seems the young director failed to hit the bullseye. In fact Sarkaru Vaari Paata is doing good at box office. But it is a known fact that Mahesh babu is pulling the film on his shoulders alone. As per general audience, If not for Mahesh babu, the film would have been a failure at box office. So the director escaped from the flop. But Parasuram didn’t get any fancy offers from the star heroes till date. 

SVP is one such film that reminds us about the shortage of directors in Tollywood. The industry is suffering from the shortage of directors who can make big projects. If the success is the criteria, there are hardly four or five star directors in Telugu film Industry. Hence the industry and big heroes are waiting for new directors. Star heroes like Mahesh babu, Pawan kalyan and Prabhas are giving opportunities to the young directors. But directors are failing to impress with the big projects. Some of them are unable to handle the stardom. With SVP, Parasuram joined the list.

As per the reports, the star heroes are not interested to work with Parasuram as of now. Tollywood Heroes are now looking for other language directors as we have shortage of directors. At this crucial juncture it looks like parsuram has missed big chance. So let’s wait and see how the young director bounce back.

F3 Movie Review: No Plot Only Fun

F3 is finally in front of the audience after months of delays and multiple hiccups. Anil Ravipudi and the entire unit have been extremely confident of the product. The team has continuously stated that this film will provide twice the entertainment that F2 provided. Venkatesh and Varun Tej are returing to their original roles and so are Tamannah and Mehreen. Did this star-studded cast succeed in surpassing the magic of its prequel? Let’s find out.

Story: F3 follows the story of Venky (Venkatesh) and Varun Yadav (Varun Tej) who lead a dissatisfied life and aim to earn big through get rich quick methods. Venky suffers from night blindness while Varun has stammering issues. On coming across Murali Sharma who is a rich industrialist in Vizianagaram, they plot their schemes and try to get rich. Do they succeed and what comedy of errors take place over the next couple of hours is what the plot is about.

Performances: Venkatesh is the main pillar of the movie and is terrific in his comedy timing and overall performance. He carries the film through its low moments as well and ensures the tempo of the movie remains smooth. Varun Tej is fine as the second fiddle to Venky but the track with his constant stammering is a tad bit irritating and quite juvenile. Tamannah and Mehreen along with their families have got meaty roles and are present for a major chunk of the movie and Tamannah as Harika impresses with her comic angle. Sunil’s comedy is good but not on par with the expectations. Rajendra Prasad’s scenes work well in 1st half while Vennela Kishore and other characters are not established well enough and the comedy falls flat on multiple occasions.

Analysis: F3 is exactly what it looks like from the outside and never pretends to be an intellectual comedy aimed at A centers. The slapstick comedy in the film derived from the lead character’s disability and certain illogical scenes might appeal to the majority while others may cringe at the occasional absurdity of the plot.

Plus Points:

  • All lead characters’ performance
  • First Half
  • Climax

Minus Points:

  • Poor execution of the core plot
  • Certain half baked and illogical scenes
  • Lags in the second half

Verdict: F3 is a half-baked entertainer which might appeal to some. A few blocks in the movie worked well and a few ended up being quite boring. The story plot was executed badly and in a rushed manner. With a silly screenplay in the 2nd half, the movie fails to realize its true potential. Overall the film is aimed at mass and family audiences and after a series of action films, a comedy entertainer is exactly the need of the hour and it might ride strong on that wave.

The meteoric rise of Southern film industries has been a great boost to the trade circles across India. Multiple pan India films originating from the south such as RRR, Pushpa, and KGF:2 have set the box office on fire and given a great breather to multiple film industries. This is why southern stars have reigned supreme in the recently released ORMAX Pan-India stars list. Kollywood star Vijay stands at no.1 while Jr NTR has occupied the second position on the list.

NTR desperately needs to deliver a pan India blockbuster

Jr NTR’s performance in RRR turned out to be a mixed feeling for the actor as well as his fans. While he received a huge response for his performance, fans felt otherwise. A large section of NTR fans and the audience felt the role should have been better and SSR gave more scope to Ram Charan. While the humungous success of RRR has made all the fans happy, NTR are fans are expecting more from him.

This is why Young Tiger has promised his fans that his next film will satisfy everyone. This is why he is taking a keen interest in the making of his upcoming film with Koratala Siva. NTR is even involving himself in the script and the director-actor duo is working on each and every scene with great detail.

Both Koratala and NTR are desperately looking for a big blockbuster for different reasons. While Koratala needs a solid bounce back after the failure of Acharya, NTR needs NTR 30 to be a great success and bring him another massive commercial success that would satisfy his fans.

The entire unit of NTR30 is working hard to give the best script and screenplay to the plot. Much to fans’ delight, Koratala Siva is focusing more on mass action episodes and elevations this time around.
