Parasuram Sticks To His Strength; Planning A Love Story For Next Film

There are just some directors who have their favorite style of movies. Whether it is Puri’s style of having a mass protagonist, Sukumar has his unique style of storytelling. Trivikram uses family sentiments and emotions to drive his stories. Mohana Krishna Indraganti’s favorite genre is thriller.

Similarly, Parasuram Petla thrives in the ‘love story’ genre. His most iconic film Geetha Govindam caught everyone by surprise. It was a simple yet entertaining love story that pulled at the strings of the Telugu audiences.

With Sarkaru Vaari Paata, he failed to create the same magic on the big screen. Although the film did decently well at the box office due to Mahesh Babu’s craze, it was dismissed as a below average film by the masses.

But it looks like Parasuram will be revisiting his familiar territoty with his next film. He is planning on writing a love story with Ngaa Chaitanya and Rashmika in mind. As of now, Naga Chaitanya is confirmed but he is still in plans to rope in Rashmika as the lead actress.

With only a few days left for the release of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, the promotions are in full swing. Aamir has been constantly traveling to different cities to promote his film.

During one such promotional interview, he was asked about his opinion on the gap between the theatrical and OTT release of the current movies.

This is what Aamir had to say, “How do you expect people to come to the theatres? If the movies are released on OTT so quickly, some movies are releasing within 3-4 weeks. If it is coming so fast, cinema does not stand a chance in thetares!”

“I make sure my film does not come on OTT atleast for 6 months since release. This tells the audiences that this movie is made only for theatrical viewing. If they want to watch the film on OTT, they can always do it to revisit the film.”

He further added, “In short term thinking, you will get a good amount of money. But, in the long term you are not only harming yourself but also harming the entire industry. This is the reason why people are no longer willing to come to the cinemas.”

Laal Singh Chaddha releases in theatres on August 13th. It is releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada as well as Malayalam. It is an official adaptation of the American cult classic Forrest Gump. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya and Manav Vij in lead roles. Advaith is the director of the film.

తెలుగు సినీ దర్శక ధీర రాజమౌళి చెక్కినఅద్భుత శిల్పం ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్. ఈ సినిమా ఎలాంటి అంచనాలను మధ్య విడుదల అయిందో అందరికీ తెలిసిందే. ఈ సినిమాను తెలుగు ఇండస్ట్రీ స.రాజమౌళి తెరకెక్కించగా ఇద్దరు స్టార్ హీరోలు యంగ్ టైగర్ ఎన్టీఆర్, మెగా పవర్ స్టార్ రామ్ చరణ్ కలిసి ఈ సినిమాలో నటించడంతో ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ పై అతి భారీ అంచనాలు ఏర్పడ్డాయి.

Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara has been enjoying a jolly time at the box office. The movie has opened to a record breaking extraordinary weekend, the highest in Kalyan Ram’s career by a long margin. The bookings are steady and there are no signs of stopping the film.

తెలుగు సినిమా పరిశ్రమలో సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబు క్రేజ్ మరియు స్టార్ డం ఏ స్థాయిలో ఉందో ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. ఆ విషయం ఇప్పుడు మరోసారి అందరికీ పోకిరి సినిమా రుజువు చేస్తోంది.

అయితే ఈ సారి మాత్రం పోకిరి సినిమాను ఎవరూ ఊహించని స్థాయిలో ప్రదర్శించడానికి సిద్ధమయ్యారు మహేష్ అభిమానులు. నిజానికి మొదట హైదరాబాద్లో కేవలం 12 స్క్రీన్లలో మాత్రమే పోకిరి సినిమాను ప్రదర్శించాలని అనుకున్నారట. కానీ అభిమానుల నుంచి టికెట్ల కోసం డిమాండ్ ఊహించిన దానికంటే ఎక్కువగా అంతకంతకూ పెరుగుతూ పోవడంతో ఆ ప్రత్యేక షో ల సంఖ్యను పెంచాల్సి వచ్చింది. మొత్తంగా మహేష్ పుట్టిన రోజు నాడు 150 షోల వరకు ప్రదర్శించబోతుండటం విశేషం.


ఇక ఓవర్సీస్ లో కూడా పోకిరి చిత్రాన్ని 17 లొకేషన్లలో 24 షోలు ప్రదర్శించబోతున్నారు అని తెలుస్తోంది. పోకిరి స్పెషల్ షోలకు ఎంతగా డిమాండ్ ఉన్నదంటే .. దాదాపు 30 షోలలో హౌస్ ఫుల్ కలెక్షన్స్ వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఏదేమైనా కూడా పోకిరి సినిమా కేవలం ప్రత్యేక షోల ద్వారానే ఒక కొత్త సినిమా స్థాయిలో ఒక సంచలనం సృష్టించడానికి సిద్ధమైంది.

Sita Ramam has unanimously been winning people’s hearts since it released in theatres on 5th August. The period drama is being hailed as an epic love story and a timeless classic. Some people are calling it the love story that Radhe Shyam wishes it was.

The movie had a decent opening day due to the promotions of the film and the audiences also came in numbers. But what is shocking is that the Day3 collections have been greater than both Day 1 and Day 2. This is a great sign for any film when the collections are increasing exponentially. The positive word of mouth has immensely helped the film and the shows were full on Day 3.

Sita Ramam has enjoyed a great first weekend with a great outing at the box office. Even though it is competing with Bimbisara, it has held its own ground. It has garnered 12.77 crores in the Telugu states, 1.75 crores in Karnataka, 2.14 crores in Kerala, and 1.60 crores in Tamil Nadu.

దుల్కర్ సల్మాన్ హీరోగా, మృనాల్ ఠాకూర్ హీరోయిన్ గా.. రష్మిక మందన్నా కీలక పాత్రలో తెరకెక్కిన చిత్రం ‘ సీతారామం’. ఈ సినిమా తాజాగా ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వచ్చింది. హను రాఘవపూడి దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొందిన ఈ సినిమాను అశ్వినీదత్ కూతురు స్వప్నదత్ నిర్మించారు. కాగా ఈ సినిమాకు మొదటి నుంచి చక్కని స్పందన తెచ్చుకుంది. ఆ పాజిటివ్ టాక్ అలా ఎదుగుతూ సినిమా బాక్స్ ఆఫీస్ వద్ద రోజు రోజుకూ కలెక్షన్లను పెంచుకుంటూ పోతుంది.

మొదటి మూడు రోజుల వరకు సీతారామం చిత్రం తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో దాదాపు 13 కోట్ల వరకూ గ్రాస్ కలెక్షన్లను వసూలు చేసింది. ఇక ఓవర్సీస్ లో 6 కోట్లు, తమిళనాడు, కర్ణాటక, కేరళ మూడు రాష్ట్రాల్లోనూ కలిపి 6 కోట్ల గ్రాస్ ను వసూలు చేసింది. అంటే మొత్తంగా చెప్పాలంటే సీతారామం సినిమా అన్ని వెర్షన్లు కలిపి 25 కోట్ల గ్రాస్ కలెక్షన్లు వసూళ్లు సాధించింది.

Bimbisara is now the highest grosser for Kalyan Ram at Box office

Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara is going great guns at the box office. The film opened to positive reviews and excellent occupancy on day 1 and achieved 45% of the breakeven mark on the same day. The fantasy action drama continued its victory run over the weekend and the film has entered profitable zones everywhere.

Bimbisara had an excellent weekend run and brought up Rs 17.5 crores collection and has become Kalyan Ram’s career highest. This Mallidi Vashist film has crossed Kalyan Ram’s previous best Pataas that collected Rs 17 crores.

Set in 500 BC, the fantasy action film follows the story of Bimbisara (Kalyan Ram) who is a cruel and power-hungry king who takes extreme measures to suppress any dissent in his kingdom.

Debutant Mallidi Vasisht has directed the film that also stars Catherine Tresa, Samyukhta Menon, and Vivan Bhatena in key roles. Kalyan Ram’s own banner NTR Arts has bankrolled this project with MM Keeravani lending the tunes.
