Bad decision by Thunivu and Varisu makers

Thunivu and Varisu are the Kollywood biggies all set to enter the Sankranti fray. The audience all over are eager to catch yet another Ajith and Vijay clash and no matter who wins, this festive season is indeed going to be special for film lovers all over the world.

While the fans are excited about seeing their idols on screen, there’s something that’s been bothering many. Initially, both Thunivu and Varisu were scheduled for 12th January. However, in a last-minute change, the makers of both films announced yesterday that the release date is now 11th January.

The exhibitors and trade circles feel this is a very bad decision to release the film on Wednesday and that too in pre-festival. Pre-festival days will be usually very tough for any movie. However, since its stars like Ajith and Vijay are involved, many feel that pre-festival release won’t be a big issue.

Both the superstars haven’t had a release in the same season as this in the previous eight years. Their last box office fight took place eight years ago in 2014, when Ajith’s Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla were released on the same day.

Balakrishna’s Akhanda Hindi Version Release Date Locked

Akhanda showed how the audience would receive a mass entertainer if it is made well. Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna has given an exceptional performance in Akhanda’s character, and the film is the biggest hit in the actor’s film career until now.

The latest news is that they will release soon the film in Hindi. Pen Movies, which distributed the PAN Indian blockbuster RRR in Hindi, will release the film in the northern regions. In the past, Hindi audiences showed their love for mass films from the South like Pushpa, RRR, and KGF2.

Akhanda also has the divine touch and many high-octane scenes which cater to the masses. The Hindi audience will be in for a crazy experience for sure with this mad mass entertainer.

Apart from Balakrishna’s screen presence and performance, Akhanda has Thaman’s excellent songs and outstanding background score, which is the backbone of the film.

Director Boyapati Srinu has a separate style of handling his Heroes in larger-than-life roles and heavy action sequences which are sure to mesmerize the Hindi audience too. The Hindi version of Akhanda releases on 20th January, and the theatrical trailer will be out tomorrow.

AP Government refused the permissions for Veera Simha Reddy pre-release event

Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ movie pre-release event (Veera Simha Reddy Pre Release Event) has got extra difficulties. The film unit initially thought to organize this event on 6th of this month at ABM College Grounds in Ongole. They have also made basic arrangements to this extent.

Also, through social media, Nandamuri fans were informed about the pre-release event stage through posters and teasers. But now doubts are rising about the pre-release event being held in Ongole. The reasons for these obstacles are yet to be clear, but one reason being said is the new GO released by Andhra Pradesh Government.

The makers have planned a massive pre-release event in ongole, but the government has denied the permission for the event. The police have refused approval for the Veera Simha Reddy event at Ongole saying that they cannot provide security as the crowd will be heavy.

The police asked the filmmakers to choose another location outside Ongole city and now the team is looking for some other venue for pre release event, and it is very tough to find an appropriate place at such a short period.

Shruti Haasan acted opposite Balayya in the film ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ directed by Gopichand Malineni. While the songs that have already been released are entertaining the fans, the movie is going to hit the theaters on January 12. This movie has been made Rayalaseema faction backdrop.

Kannada Actor Duniya Vijay will be seen in the antagonist role in this mass action entertainer, while Honey Rose, Varalaxmi Sharath Kumar appear in crucial roles. Thaman S has composed music for this film.

Official: Thunivu releasing on 11th January, Will Varisu release on the same day?

The game is happening. The encounter between Ajith’s Thunivu and Vijay’s Varisu has already taken off. While Vijay displayed the trailer of his forthcoming film today, which is among the top trends online, the producers of Ajith’s Thunivu have too entered the excitement by revealing the release date of their film.

While it was thought that both films would collide on the same day, in a sudden twist of things, it is now confirmed that Thunivu will drop a day earlier than Vijay’s Varisu.

According to the official announcement, Thunivu is all set to release in theaters on January 11, which came as a shock to everyone. It is yet to be seen whether Varisu movie would give an advantage to Ajith’s film.

https://twitter.com/BoneyKapoor/status/1610633992352698368?t=LlKaH0n-knl8pwzOH29jjw&s=19

The makers of Varisu still have not disclosed the release date but the there’s solid inside rumor growing that they have prepared to release the film on same date of Thunivu and the official confirmation will be made soon.

However, the change of release date is not so simple, and the producers need to speak with all the affected parties before they announce the release date. Let’s see how this competition develops.

The upcoming box office face-off between Vijay and Ajith will be one of the big points of Tamil cinema in 2023 as both the superstars haven’t had a release in the same season as this in the previous eight years. Their last box office fight took place eight years ago in 2014, when Ajith’s Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla were released on the same day.

Back then, both Veeram and Jilla belonged to an identical genre of family action entertainer, while for this Pongal, Ajith is coming out with a heist thriller, which is giving a lot of vibes of his earlier movies like Mankatha and Aaranbham.

On the other hand, Varisu, a family drama, looks like a perfect film for the festival. With the trailers of both the films out, it is still hard to predict that which movie would win the box office race this Pongal.

‘Pavitra and I met and bonded Sammohanam sets,’ says Naresh

Tollywood senior actor Naresh gave a huge surprise for New Year 2023 when he announced that he and co-actor Pavithra Lokesh will be getting married this year. The couple have been in a relationship for quite some time and made it official with the wedding announcement video.

In an interview, Naresh said, ” Pavithra Lokesh is my colleague, we first met during the shooting of Happy Wedding. She was a quite person and used to read books between her shots making it tough to speak to her. During the shoot, we hardly spoke 2-3 times, revealed Naresh.

“Luckily we met again during the shooting of Sammohanam and that is where we bonded well. She was going through hell in life and when I wasn’t able to focus on shooting, I cried in front of her and he helped me a lot and we bonded due to the mutual troubles in our personal life,” he explained.

The two have been quite public about their friendship for the past few years. However, the senior actor has maintained that Pavitra Lokesh is a good ‘friend, philosopher, and guide’ to him for all these years. Now with this announcement, he has made his relationship public for the first time ever.
