SSMB 28: Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Film Is An Unending Postponement Saga

Ever since the announcement of Mahesh Babu’s new movie SSMB28, fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates from the movie team but it looks like the film is not even moving forward. A couple of weeks ago, it was announced that the shooting of the film has begun but it has now been postponed once again.

The shooting has been continuously delayed and schedules are being changed constantly. It was originally planned for the beginning of December but the team is now taking more time and the film is expected to start at the end of December or in early 2023. This is not a good sign for any film as it shows that the makers are not ready for the project.

But Trivikram is in red hot form at the moment and the combo of Mahesh and Trvikram has always given some memorable films. Everyone is hoping that SSMB28 create the same magic that Athadu and Khaleja created. Mahesh also has a very impressive lineup of films ahead, with Rajamouli’s venture being the most exciting one.

The film also stars Pooja Hegde opposite Mahesh Babu. The film has been produced by Haarika and Hassine Creations and Thaman S is the music director.

When a star hero’s film nears its release date, the fans are always eagerly waiting for the promotional content from the movie. Especially when it has competition with other big stars, the fans always want their hero’s film to create more buzz among the audiences. This is the case with Ajith’s Thunivu and Vijay’s Varisu.

On one side, the team of Varisu is aggressively promoting the film in both Tamil and Telugu but the team of Thunivu has been silent. It is a known fact that Ajith does not like to promote his movies but this approach will not help the film in any way. Much hyped Malayalam film Gold drops Huge on day2 and heading towards Big disaster

Gold is the latest film by a creative director, Alphonse Puthren. He had earlier directed Premam which was successful across languages.Gold is a crime comedy starring Prithviraj and Nayanthara.

The director has taken a long gap of 7 years to come up with this flick. The movie was released on this Friday amidst massive expectations, however its box office performance is a bit worrying.

Despite poor promotions, the movie started on a big note. The film collected 5.5 crores on the very first day, which was promising. Even the Trade circles were astonished that despite zero promotions, the film received good openings.

But the second day has seen only 1.5 crores revenue, which is a massive drop from day 1. That’s because of the miserable content and worst possible talk from the audience.

General in trade revenue on 2nd day is a litmus test for the movie’s Box office performance. If the film can sustain a decent opening on the second day, it will be considered as a hit cinema.

Then the early Monday will be the second assessment. However, the film crashing on the first Litmus test itself is an alarm Bell for the impending failure at the box office. Chances are very bleak for to grow, and it’s going to end up as a colossal disaster at the box office mostly.

ఓవరాల్ గా ఈ సినిమా తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో 4.1 కోట్లను వసూలు చేయగా, ఓవర్సీస్ లో 4 కోట్లకు పైగా గ్రాస్ వసూలు చేసింది. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల వెలుపల ఈ చిత్రం సుమారు 2.2 కోట్ల షేర్ వసూలు చేసింది. మొత్తంగా హిట్ 2 ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా 6.3 కోట్ల షేర్ రాబట్టింది.
