Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Shehzada is all set to release tomorrow. The film is a remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and is directed by Rohit Dhawan. Everyone is expecting Kartik’s film to continue the momentum that Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan established for Bollywood in 2023. However, day 1’s advance bookings are quite dismal and are indicators of low opening-day figures.
To counter this, the makers of Shehzada have announced a special gift for moviegoers — the tickets on opening day can be availed at a ‘buy one, get one free’ deal.
Produced by T-Series Films, Haarika & Hassine Creations, Geetha Arts, and Brat Films, Shehzada was initially scheduled to release on 10th February but a couple of weeks ago, the makers announced that the film has been pushed to 17th February. This was pushed to avoid a clash with Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan which is still going strong at the box office.
The comedy-drama also stars Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar. The music for the movie has been composed by Pritam.
